Coincidentially, the other two finalists were featured in Ep.5 Interestingly enough, they let Avery and Deion close episodes even though they were eliminated in the pre-lives. (We knew Joanna had already been let go off twice, and Meghan´s audition was pretty raw), so it was a bit of a drag, I´ll admit. TMH was my favorite out of the premiere, but I suspected he wasn´t gonna get appreciated, and given how they treated him later, I was right. Out of all finalists, Thunderstorm was the most hyped in auditions, and they put him in Week 2. Usually, they put the TCO in the premiere, but that was not the case this season. TMH was also my favorite (which is especially rare for a 2 chair for the premiere), and he ended up flopping in KOs (Why would you give a rocker that song?) Ep 4 was fodder fest, yet later ones like Ep 6 and 7 showed more people with frontrunner potential or that actually went further than the people on the aformentioned episode. One of my favorite one chair turn auditions and the most underrated contestant of the season IMO This episode also had LB, who had a great audition, as well as Betsy, who was interesting and Rebecca, who was one of the better country females on the show. The extended blinds probably had to do with it. Episode 4 was very strong imo. But even though Chris was always Minivan bait, IDF definitely didn´t expect him to be the highest ranking contestant of that episode, given how Minivan friendly Team Blake was that season. Chris, Reagan, MaKenzie and Sandy all made T13 (and I didn’t expect Chris to make T13 during prelives. I liked him from the get go, but thought he was screwed on such a Minivan friendly team. It was universally viewed as: PV 1: Kirk PV 2: Dave CS: Michael Michael got an underwhelming song choice and Dave didn´t deliver. And Chris snuck in.
