Where are you getting that you have to wait until midnight to make a cut? You can make your cut whenever. The deadline for the round is midnight.

Welcome to the voting round!

 

Derek, Diana and Solaris can only cast two votes, while the rest of us can vote for four.

 

The four routines that receive the most votes will be going forward into the final vote, while the rest will be eliminated.

HOWEVER... we're also going to be including the solos as a separate entity,

and the two solos with the most votes will be advancing to make it a Top 18.

You can only vote for one solo in your ballot,

and it will not count as one of your two/four votes.

 

I'm not nearly as patient or willing to deal with changing ballots as @Alex95 in the Idol performance rankdown,

so ALL BALLOTS WILL BE FINAL AND YOU CAN NOT CHANGE YOUR VOTE!

The deadline will be at 2AM ET on Wednesday, June 16

as that's when I'll be home from work and will have time to get the final post prepared.

However, if I get all the ballots before then, the round will end accordingly.
