that's what bothers me, whether it's true or not, no one should be outed if they have never spoken about it for themselves   that first post stating it, and other posts been hidden for now,

But that doesn't matter now, he won and he has built a solid fanbase that will stick with him no matter what. 🤗

Honestly I'm just happy we have a winner that's part of the LGBTQ+ community (there may be more I'm not aware of lemme know). Whether or not he would've won had minivan been fully aware is another thing, his talent is still completely undeniable and this is huge for representation on the show!

This reminded me of a former winner of The Voice South Africa. He wrote in a letter that people close to him told him to keep his sexuality a secret or else people wouldn’t vote for him

Based on pure vocal abilities Billy Gilman and his I surrender performance is evidence of that . I Surrender requires top tier execution and mastery in all vocal criteria from vocal control to vocal technique and when a man does that song and actually belts those high notes ,it’s honestly JAW DROPPING.

I think you’re the first IDF user (at least from what I remember) who has complimented that performance :haha: I will admit that it was impressive how long he managed to hold that note, and he sold it really well.

Really!!!!!!!! It was an impressive performance literally several  female vocalists couldn’t pull that song off in their dreams

Saw Moriah Formica in a couple of lists but not sure she's correctly included. Have kept up with Moriah since the show and just did a web search and have never seen any support.  I don't know one way or the other (and frankly don't care) but would suggest caution in labeling if unsure. Without actual info from Moriah, maybe best she's not mentioned here.

She did a Q&A on Instagram story and they asked if she liked boys or girls and she answered “girls” with some LGBT emojis. She has mentioned she is LGBT, but she doesn’t really post about it.

Really? Was he pitchy or was there something otherwise off in that performance? I can't recall that one particularly, but I do remember thinking that most of his performances were quite impressive.

He definitely struggled with pitch. My memory sucks but iirc people here absolutely hated that performance, so seeing it mentioned in such a positive light is a surprise.

Tho he really didn’t all that much the difficulty of that performance was at an all time high ,he was a male , and he did it live . He did really well in so many areas like holding a belted high note for over 10 seconds with great technique and really good consistency.
