But to me this photograph proves that Danielle had the BEST bone structure of any model that cycle and the MOST potential out of all of them (even though Tyra seemed lukewarm on Dani the whole time which I will never understand). And now we know that’s a 100% fact of course, based on Dani’s amazing modeling career after the show. Dani’s face is untouchable. When she got it right, she got it REALLY right. The positioning of the Elephant's trunk is perfection and Joanie nailed it with the pose. Stellar. JORDAN Quote Despite the use of the elephant, Joanie looks amazing. Richard Quote Despite placing it first, I feel very conflicted about this picture because as a vegan, I'm very much against animal cruelty and exploitation. That said, I ultimately decided to judge the pictures 100% from a modeling perspective, and because of that, I placed this first. I'm also rationalizing it a bit by imagining this picture as a commentary on animal exploitation instead of a glorification of it, lol. All that said, Joanie looks absolutely phenomenal here. Everything from the leg positioning to the powerful eyes demands attention, and she pulls off that yellow dress incredibly. The composition of this shot overall is fantastic, with all the lush greens adding a lot of visual eye candy to the frame. Joanie herself is only one part of what makes this picture so great. Derek Quote This photograph is absolutely ferocious. It makes a great razor ad and it makes just a great image overall. The elephant is even posing. The composition is incredible. The yellow dress is such a great choice. Joanie is doing the most. Look, it’s not just that she’s on an Asian elephant and it’s exploiting a non-domesticated species. It’s the EXTREME and horrendous physical abuse that the elephants endure in order to make them suitable for riding and for this kind of photoshoot. Elephants are enormous, formidable, very smart animals and they otherwise would be extremely dangerous. But these elephants get violently physically abused into submission as they are raised and beyond. Knowing that… it makes the chain that is visible around the elephant’s neck in the shot disturbing. And I think they photoshopped some of the chain out as well? Hard to tell. Anyway, I still put this at #4 Wallace Quote Really gorgeous. Megan Quote This is an excellent shoot and shot. I feel now though after Tiger King we all are a little weirded out by the exploitation of animals. Lily Quote Obvi not a fan of the concept but Joanie wiped the floor here.
