I never said he would win the show. I figured all along it would be either him or Cam, but gave Kenzie slightly higher odds due to his genre. About 20 seconds into “He Stopped Loving Her Today,” Cam went into the lead for me.

Since the KOs because that was the moment when Cam spranked everyone else. TV audience isn't as dumb as Al audience. When someone is that ahead of everyone else, they win(I'm still pissed to this day that Adam, the living electric guitar, lost to Kris Allen).

Also, it's worth mentioning that Kenzie got some amazing song choices throughout and still lost.

After the PO stats came in I had my doubts he could win, but I thought he could recover in the Semis.

He recovered in the Semis and then we had to go to the Finale.

Stats were pretty even actually, he was only ahead like the first hour or so. I still gave him 5 - 10% more chance than Cam because of him being country.

I’m not going to pretend like I didn’t call Kenzie the runaway winner for some months, but I changed my prediction to Cam when I saw his POs stats. Still, it was a only 51/49 until finale night (the excessive Blake pimping made me think Cam had it in the bag)

PS: I think I predicted Cam as the winner when we only knew the blinds spoilers (I can’t find that prediction thread though) but quickly changed to Kenzie after watching his DCYE cover.

I thought that Kenzie was the sure winner until the Playoffs happened. But then the Semifinal happened and it looked like he was back in the game, even when his performance wasn't that great, but the song choice and pimp spot give him a boost for sure.

Still, even after that, i still deep down knew that his chances of beating Cam were, after all, not nearly as big as i thought they were when the spoilers came out, and if i'm being honest, all the time i had the strong feeling that Cam would win. (But i still was afraid the whole time thinking about Kenzie actually beating him)

Before playoffs, I thought Kenzie was the favorite, with a 90% chance. Then after playoffs, I figured it was more 60/40 in favor of Cam. At semis, despite him underdelivering on a classic, it evened out for me at 50/50 due to his reception on FB. I maintained that until the actual finale results night, were I was leaning towards Cam finally.

After Cam's phenomenal KO, I really know he will win meanwhile Kenzie gave mediocre performance. The fact that his KO didn't sold that much meant that he's not winning.

Most The Voice winner's have a really good KO that's why they won.

I chose "I still thought he was gonna win until they actually named Cam as the winner". I know Cam was significantly leading in FB, IG and youtube views but I was still expecting Kenzie to win because of his genre. Jake Hoot's views were not that overwhelming compared to Katie's and he still won the show.
