He was fun for the brief time he was on. You did get them all right. We'll see about the next set... - I watched it back and saw that too. So funny. - It wouldn't surprise me. Wow, yay me! That's good because the newest set was very difficult for me to guess, soo at least my 100% on the last one can make up for it.

Crisis
65. Giraffe/Brian Austin Green Season 4: Group A (Second Eliminated) Giraffe - Let's Get It Started Giraffe - Get Down On It Giraffe Unmasking Clue: Stuck its neck out and caught a winner The first part of the clue is referring to giraffes having long necks. The second part is about his marriage to Megan Fox although the two have since split. Fox was the S2 winner, so a double entendre of sorts. Beginning the new set is Giraffe. He was someone I didn’t care for much during the season, mostly because admittedly I was disappointed he advanced to the next round while Dragon was eliminated (which I feel guilty about because it wasn’t his fault). While re-watching his time on TMS, although he still isn’t a favorite of mine I enjoyed him more than initially thought. His two performances (Let’s Get It Started and Get Down On It) were fun although he was completely off beat in the former. I laughed when the panel guessed a Hamilton star for him because there was no way any of them would come across as amateurish as Giraffe did. Eventually, he was revealed to be Brian Austin Green (BAG) who apparently was Robin’s neighbor and childhood friend. It was probably maddening for Robin not to get him. Of course BAG went on to be a panelist on The Masked Dancer, where he did a fine job (although Paula was the best one of the group). 64. Deer/Terry Bradshaw Season 1: Group A (Second Eliminated) Deer - Thunder Deer - Get Your Shine On Deer Unmasking Clue: Black and gold animal that knew how to throw a performance Terry Bradshaw was a quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, whose primary team colors are black and gold. The animal is referring to the deer of course. Quarterbacks are known for throwing footballs hence the throwing a performance clue. Up next is Deer. While not the worst contestant, Deer wasn’t as strong as some of the other acts. His two performances of Thunder and Get Your Shine On were decent, although the latter is from one of my least favorite music groups. He was the second Group A act to unmask and turned out to be Pro Football Hall of Fame Quarterback and FOX NFL studio analyst Terry Bradshaw. I had a feeling it was him from the first clue package and his voice. One of the things that stood out was Robin guessing him correctly from the way he shakes his shoulders when he laughs. Another thing was the panel saying he wasn’t a singer, which is funny because he recorded a few country albums. Finally, there was him saying he was happy he was eliminated; it was probably for the better because he looked like he was going to pass out when he was unmasked. 63. White Tiger/Rob Gronkowski Season 3: 9th Place White Tiger - Ice Ice Baby White Tiger - Good Vibrations White Tiger - We Will Rock You White Tiger - I'm Too Sexy White Tiger Unmasking Clue: From a proud native to a seafaring outlaw Rob Gronkowski is an NFL tight end who played for the New England Patriots (a proud native of a country) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (whose logo is a buccaneer or pirate AKA a seafaring outlaw). White Tiger was definitely not the best singer, but he knew how to entertain! He looked like he had a blast every time he took the stage. His first two performances (Ice Ice Baby and Good Vibrations) were fun to watch, especially the latter when he did the Roger Rabbit, Sprinkler, and Floss dances (Nicole doing a mini-floss of her own was funny as well). We Will Rock You was kind of a mess, and from what I understand there was some controversy about him advancing from the Group A Championship because it was felt Miss Monster should’ve advanced instead of him (I didn’t watch most of S2 or S3 live). Regardless, he performed I’m Too Sexy in the following round and the most memorable thing was probably the Lion on the stripper pole. He was at risk with Banana and Rhino for elimination that night and was the first one of the combined groups to be eliminated. White Tiger was revealed to be none other than Rob Gronkowski. I had a feeling it was him because of the size and Gronk having a reputation of being a goofball, so this was in character for him. 62. Llama/Drew Carey Season 3: Group A (Second Eliminated) Llama - She Bangs Llama - It's Not Unusual Llama Unmasking Clue: The correct cost for this creepy body of water dweller The correct cost references Drew Carey as host of the game show The Price Is Right. Carey is from Cleveland, OH, which is a city that resides along Lake Erie, hence the creepy body of water clue. First, I have to say Llama had one of the most creative costumes with the rear legs with wheels attached to him. He wasn’t a bad performer; it’s just the case in which I prefer others. His first performance She Bangs was great to watch (although it didn’t - or nothing else for that matter - will ever measure up to William Hung ). However, the best part was the guy dancing at around the 0:59 mark in the link posted and the lady towards the end (I hope there’s a gif of the guy somewhere ). It’s Not Unusual was an OK number all things considered, but it wasn’t enough as he was the second Group A act unmasked at the end of the night. Llama turned out to be comedian and TV show host Drew Carey. He probably could have lasted longer than White Tiger at least, but I don’t think he would’ve made it much farther because he wasn’t as strong as some of the acts that season. Nonetheless, I think this is a decent spot for him. 61. Bear/Sarah Palin Season 3: Group C (First Eliminated) Bear - Baby Got Back Bear Unmasking Clue: Mammal that roams the last frontier A bear is a mammal. The Last Frontier is the state of Alaska's nickname. Sarah Palin was the governor of Alaska from 2006 - 2009. Closing out the set is one of the most surreal acts in TMS history. Although Bear only had one performance, it was definitely something to remember. I was howling like a lunatic during her Baby Got Back performance; I just loved the energy and commitment. As great as the performance was, it was nothing compared to her unmasking. Bear turned out to be none other than former Alaska governor and Vice President candidate Sarah Palin. Nick’s reaction to the revelation was something to remember. I thought she was the biggest surprise revelation up until a certain S5 act of course. I commend her for going up there and doing something like this. The absolute best part was her post-unmasking performance with Nick being her hype man and twerking on stage. While I felt she was the weakest of Group C, I did enjoy her performance and probably wouldn’t have minded had she lasted longer. 65. Giraffe/Brian Austin Green: 64. Deer/Terry Bradshaw: 63. White Tiger/Rob Gronkowski: 62. Llama/Drew Carey: 61. Bear/Sarah Palin: Clues for 60-56 in no particular order: - An intimidating act who dealt with a crowded place - Dancing from a prehistoric era to the current one - Many late nights may have contributed to the lack of flesh - Offspring of a GOAT who became a different mammal and was in the presence of gladiators - Voice soars through the air to help others in need
miss denise
65. Giraffe/Brian Austin Green: Ahh my initial guess was right although I couldn't make sense of the winner part. So he caught a fox... that is really tricky. Anyway, I liked this costume and his performances weren't so bad. They were fun and of course, I can totally hear his voice now. lol at him being Robin's neighbor. 64. Deer/Terry Bradshaw: Oh wow, so the animal wasn't actually black and gold. Ahh that really threw me off and I wouldn't think of his team or even know the colors, lol. But yeah, he wasn't great, although I remember the judges guessing him and Robin with the shoulders thing. That was funny. He recorded some albums? I'm shocked by that. Wow, I don't remember him looking like he was about to pass out, yikes. 63. White Tiger/Rob Gronkowski: Oh wow, another one I named but for the wrong clue. I would have never put this together and still barely get it. Yeah, he was fun, but definitely not great and I think I worried he might stay too long. I do think I remember the controversary you mentioned. lol he was always fun at least and I had a feeling it was him too after the judges guessed him. 62. Llama/Drew Carey: I would have never figured out that clue. The costume is... different, but not a fan with the legs like that, lol. He was okay, but not the best and omg the dancing people you mentioned in the first video. I watched and saw and LOL I was wondering who that was in your avatar! LOL. So hilarious. I mostly agree with your thoughts here. 61. Bear/Sarah Palin: Yay, I got this one. lol I'll never forget this unmasking and how iconic it was. That performance was already something but then to learn who it was? Wow. lol Nick's reaction was amazing and I rewatched that moment several times. lol this reveal and the S5 one you are referring to were both sooo wow in different ways. Hahah I loved Nick being part of the unmasked performance too. I do wonder what she would have done with another performance. I'm going to think about these clues for a bit but wanted to at least get my comments posted.
miss denise
- An intimidating act who dealt with a crowded place: My best guess here is Bob Saget as Squiggly Monster... thinking of "a crowded place" referring to Full House and monsters being intimidating. - Dancing from a prehistoric era to the current one: My mind immediately goes to JoJo Siwa as the T-Rex... makes sense with the "dancing" and "prehistoric" references - Many late nights may have contributed to the lack of flesh: I thought of Skeleton and Paul Shaffer was on Late Night with David Letterman so this checks out. - Offspring of a GOAT who became a different mammal and was in the presence of gladiators: Hmm... my thought for the first part was Laila Ali but I can't make sense of that for the rest of the clue. *thinks* Not sure on this. - Voice soars through the air to help others in need: This makes sense for Dr. Drew as Eagle. Eagles soar and Dr. Drew helps people.

Yeah, his costume was cool and his performances were better than I remembered when I re-watched them. 64. I probably could have worded the clue better. He recorded a couple of country/western albums in the 70s and I believe 80s. He looked like he was sweating profusely; I can imagine how hot those costumes are. 63. Agree about him being fun. I know there were some people who weren't pleased with how long he lasted. 62. That costume was different. When re-watching the performances, I stumbled across the guy dancing and knew I had to make that my avatar. I wanted to have one and was fortunate enough to see that. That's probably what I look like when I dance. 61. That performance and unmasking was something indeed. Nick's reaction was something. Pretty much anything regarding her was iconic. I also wonder what she would have done if she lasted another episode. It looks like the guesses have been made. 18 hours ago, miss denise said: - An intimidating act who dealt with a crowded place: My best guess here is Bob Saget as Squiggly Monster... thinking of "a crowded place" referring to Full House and monsters being intimidating. Crisis
60. Eagle/Dr. Drew Pinsky Season 2: Group D (First Eliminated) Eagle - I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That) Eagle - These Boots Are Made For Walking Eagle Unmasking Clue: Voice soars through the air to help others in need Dr. Drew is a medical specialist who has hosted both radio and TV shows, so he was on a bunch of airwaves. Eagles fly or soar through the sky. The clue was a play on both entities. Leading off the new set is the USA mascot AKA Eagle. Eagle was someone who brought humor to both his acts and interactions with Nick. In addition, his voice wasn’t all that bad. His I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That) was OK; however, he was no match for Flower and had to compete in the Smackdown against Penguin. These Boots Are Made For Walkin’ was a good song choice, but it wasn’t enough and Eagle had to unmask at the end of the night. Eagle turned out to be addiction specialist and media personality Dr. Drew Pinksy. Overall, Eagle was someone who I didn’t have any strong feelings toward in either direction. 59. T-Rex/JoJo Siwa Season 3: Group C (Third Eliminated) T-Rex - So What T-Rex - Push It T-Rex - Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny) T-Rex Unmasking Clue: Dancing from a prehistoric era to the current one JoJo Siwa is a dancer who was on the show Dance Moms. The prehistoric era is an era in which dinosaurs lived. Siwa was T-Rex of course. T-Rex brought a lot of fun and energy to her performances, which made up for her not so splendid singing. So What was a high energy number although she sounded like she was out of breath towards the end from moving so much. Push It was my favorite of hers, and Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny) while ambitious didn’t work out. T-Rex was unmasked after Jai Ho, and that person turned out to be JoJo Siwa. I’m not familiar with her; from doing an Internet search she was on Dance Moms and is a YouTuber. Despite not being the best act and being OK with where she placed, T-Rex was someone who was entertaining to watch. 58. Panda/Laila Ali Season 2: Group C (First Eliminated) Panda - Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) Panda - All I Do Is Win Panda Unmasking Clue: Offspring of a GOAT who became a different mammal and was in the presence of gladiators Laila is the daughter of boxing legend Muhammad Ali, who was referred to as the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time). Laila herself was a boxer and went undefeated in her bozing career. Laila co-hosted the American Gladiators reboot on NBC alongside Hulk Hogan in 2008. Panda was someone who I didn’t think was all that bad. Her Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You) was decent despite being no Kelly Clarkson (then again there aren’t many who are so no shame there), plus she brought some humor to it. Unfortunately, she fell short against Black Widow and had to compete in the Smackdown against Leopard. Her All I Do Is Win was fine, but it turned out to be an ironic song choice because she lost the Smackdown and had to unmask. Panda was unveiled to be Laila Ali. I think she would’ve made it past the first round under any other circumstance, but I thought she had a decent showing all things considered. 57. Skeleton/Paul Shaffer Season 2: Eliminated Episode 4 Skeleton - Good Times/Rapper's Delight Skeleton - Hard To Handle Skeleton - Are You Gonna Be My Girl Skeleton Unmasking Clue: Many late nights may have contributed to the lack of flesh Skeletons tend not to have any flesh on them, and Paul was the bandleader under Dave Letterman when he hosted his late night talk show on CBS. Skeleton was someone who was entertaining for the brief time he was on. His first performance was a medley of Good Times/Rapper’s Delight in which he rapped a couple of verses from the latter and sang the hook of the former. He lost against Butterfly and competed in the Smackdown against Egg in which he sang Hard To Handle and was victorious. The next time we would see Skeleton is the fourth episode in which he sang Are You Gonna Be My Girl. This would be his last performance as he was unmasked and revealed to be former Late Night with David Letterman bandleader Paul Shaffer. It was probably inevitable considering who he was up against, but overall he was someone fun to watch. 56. Squiggly Monster/Bob Saget Season 4: Group C (Second Eliminated) Squiggly Monster - Have You Ever Seen The Rain Squiggly Monster - (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction Squiggly Monster Unmasking Clue: An intimidating act who dealt with a crowded place Bob Saget played Danny Tanner in the classic 80s/90s sitcom Full House. He was Squiggly Monster, and monsters are known for being intimidating. Closing out the set is Squiggly Monster. Squiggly Monster was someone who I felt wasn’t that bad of an act. Plus, his costume was one of the more creative ones. His two performances of Have You Ever Seen The Rain and (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction were pretty decent if you ask me, with the latter being my favorite. He was able to survive the first round but was unlucky in the second round. He was unmasked after Satisfaction and was revealed to be Bob Saget. One of the funniest things about his unmasking was Nicole’s first impression guess being one of the Ying Yang Twins (oh Nicole, I love you but where did that come from ). At the time, I would’ve had him at least outlast Broccoli (despite me not listing him yet), but I don’t think he would’ve lasted longer if he did. 60. Eagle/Dr. Drew Pinsky: 59. T-Rex/JoJo Siwa: 58. Panda/Laila Ali: 57. Skeleton/Paul Shaffer: 56. Squiggly Monster/Bob Saget: Clues for 55-51: - A bird who was a part of something that referenced unclean yet appealing dead presidents - A down under creature with ties to a famous or infamous family depending on how you look at it - A fantasy creature who came from someone who specialized in producing fantasies of their own - A plant from the same area as a maple leaf - Something that could do a tango on your taste buds

Eagle/Dr. Drew Pinsky: I remember this reveal being quite a surprise. I also don't think he was all that bad, but there are certainly many better ones. 59. T-Rex/JoJo Siwa: She was definitely energetic and entertaining, although I didn't care much for her. I do know of her outside of the show, but mostly just the name. 58. Panda/Laila Ali: Oh, I did have it right?! Oohh I didn't know about Gladiators but I also misunderstood and thought the "became a different mammal" part meant she became a different mammal than her father. Skeleton/Paul Shaffer: Skeleton was fun. I enjoyed his performances well enough but oh yeah, he was definitely the weakest of his group when he was eliminated. 56. Squiggly Monster/Bob Saget: Nicole's guess. Aww I was bummed Danny Tanner didn't last longer. I also enjoyed him and thought the costume was fun, although super random. Wow, I got them all right. I love when I can make sense of clues. - A bird who was a part of something that referenced unclean yet appealing dead presidents: I think this is Penguin aka Sherri Shepherd and a reference to a Dirty Sexy Politics book written by one of her co-hosts from The View? - A down under creature with ties to a famous or infamous family depending on how you look at it: I immediately think of Kangaroo/Jordyn Woods. Of course kangaroos come from Australia and I remember Jordyn having a connection to the Kardashians. - A fantasy creature who came from someone who specialized in producing fantasies of their own: I automatically thought of Unicorn and that makes sense since Tori Spelling's father was a TV producer. - A plant from the same area as a maple leaf: I'm guessing Paul Anka as Broccoli since he's from Canada. - Something that could do a tango on your taste buds: Tom Bergeron as Taco... the dance reference and tasty tacos. Crisis
55. Unicorn/Tori Spelling Season 1: Fifth Eliminated Unicorn - Fight Song Unicorn - Oops!...I Did It Again Unicorn - I Love It Unicorn Unmasking Clue: A fantasy creature who came from someone who specialized in producing fantasies of their own Unicorns are creatures that don't exist or are a fantasy. Tori Spelling is the daughter of legendary TV producer/director Aaron Spelling, who was responsible in creating some of the most well-known TV shows. Leading off the new set is Unicorn. Unicorn is someone who appeared to be a bundle of nerves every time she took the stage but put her heart in all of her performances. With that said, she was one of the weaker contestants of the season, and I remember people being annoyed with her story and “lasting too long”. Some watchers were especially displeased that Monster was in the B3 instead of her in the first episode. All three of her performances (Fight Song, Oops!...I Did It Again, and I Love It) were OK albeit not great. One thing I noticed was there was a lot of background singing during her performances, probably more so than any other act. Unicorn was unmasked after the fifth episode and was revealed to be actress Tori Spelling. In hindsight, she is someone I ranked too high (I probably should’ve ranked her in the higher 60s), but I don’t think this is too bad of a spot all things considered. 54. Swan/Bella Thorne Season 3: Group C (Second Eliminated) Swan - Fever Swan - I Hate Myself For Loving You Swan - Unmasking Clue: A bird who was a part of something that referenced unclean yet appealing dead presidents Bella Thorne was Swan, which obviously is a bird. Thorne was in the ABC drama Dirty Sexy Money, hence the unclean yet appealing dead presidents clue. Swan is someone who I had to re-watch a few times because there wasn’t much about her I could remember. Her two performances (Fever and I Hate Myself For Loving You) were entertaining for the most part. Her IHMFLY was funny with the scrolling screens of Ken in the background and her saying she loved him at the end. She was eliminated after those two performances and unveiled as actress Bella Thorne. She’s someone who I’m not familiar with. Having said that, apparently she and Ken were in a movie together, and I remember the panel giving him a hard time because he didn’t guess her correctly, not unlike a certain S1 act. Overall, Swan is someone who I would say wasn’t bad but am indifferent towards when it’s all said and done. 53. Broccoli/Paul Anka Season 4: Group C (Third Eliminated) Broccoli - The House Is Rockin'/Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On Broccoli - Hello Broccoli - Old Time Rock & Roll Broccoli - Take Me Down Broccoli Unmasking Clue: A plant from the same area as a maple leaf Paul Anka is from Canada, whose flag has a red maple leaf in the center. Broccoli is obviously a plant. Broccoli definitely was someone who has been around for a while. In fact, one can say he was a seasoned performer in more ways than one. I enjoyed all of his performances (The House I Rockin’/Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On, Hello, and Old Time Rock & Roll) in some form or another. I remember there was some disappointment when he advanced while Squiggly Monster was eliminated. He had to participate in the Smackdown against Mushroom after Old Time Rock & Roll, which was a given considering that Jellyfish had the best performance of the night IMO. He sang Take Me Down in the Smackdown but fell short and had to unmask at the end of the night. Broccoli turned out to be legendary singer/songwriter Paul Anka. I loved how sure Robin was about him because he knew Anka was Canadian. Broccoli was OK, but I knew he went as far as he was going to go. 52. Taco/Tom Bergeron Season 3: Group B (Third Eliminated) Taco - Fly Me To The Moon Taco - Bossa Nova Baby Taco - Can't Help Myself Taco Unmasking Clue: Something that could do a tango on your taste buds Tom Bergeron was the long time host of Dancing With The Stars, hence the tango reference. Tacos are something people eat. Bringing some spice and flavor to the ranking is Taco. Taco was someone who I found to be fun during his brief stay in the show. My personal favorite performance of his was Fly Me To The Moon, for I didn’t expect him to be good for some reason. His other two performances (Bossa Nova Baby and Can’t Help Myself) were fine as well, although the dancer was my favorite part in the former. Taco fell short in the Group B Championships and was unmasked as long time comedian and TV show host Tom Bergeron. What was funny at his unmasking was Jenny, Robin, and Nicole not guessing him after all three have worked with him in some capacity (that didn’t stop them from getting on Ken for not getting Bella Thorne later that season). Also, his famous friend being Bob Saget was funny because Bob himself would be an act in the following season. 51. Kangaroo/Jordyn Woods Season 3: Eliminated Eleventh Episode Kangaroo - Dancing On My Own Kangaroo - You Know I'm No Good Kangaroo - Diamonds Kangaroo - Not Ready To Make Nice Kangaroo - No Air Kangaroo - Hot Stuff Kangaroo Unmasking Clue: A down under creature with ties to a famous or infamous family depending on how you look at it Kangaroos are from Australia, which is often referred to the Land Down Under. Jordyn Woods was friends with Kylie Jenner, who is part of the Kardashian clan. In addition, Woods was involved in some controversy surrounding Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson. Closing out this set is Kangaroo. Kangaroo was someone who appeared to be an amateur during the season. She looked like she struggled with confidence early in the season but appeared to get better each time she took the stage. She gave some very solid performances with my personal favorite being No Air. I would go as far as saying that was the only decent cover of the song on any show. Unfortunately, she had to compete in the Smackdown with Astronaut after it. She sang Hot Stuff, but her stuff was anything but as she was eliminated and had to unmask at the end of the night (I’m sure a certain someone was relieved with the results ). She was revealed to be Jordyn Woods. As with most social media people, I had zero idea who she was. She was the weakest of her group, so I wasn’t too disappointed with her elimination. With that said, Kangaroo was someone who put up a very decent showing and should hold her head high over it. 55. Unicorn/Tori Spelling: 54. Swan/Bella Thorne: 53. Broccoli/Paul Anka: 52. Taco/Tom Bergeron: 51. Kangaroo/Jordyn Woods: Clues for 50-46: - An apparatus that could dance if fed with Cash Money - Someone who chilled with a nice view - There is a golden gate entry to this fluffy act - This insect may not be so dainty considering her family - Who allowed toddlers to jet through the sky?
miss denise
So sorry for the delay! I had such a busy weekend and last couple days. @Crisis 55. Unicorn/Tori Spelling: Oh wow, I didn't remember Monster being in the B3 over her at the start. She wasn't that great, but not necessarily bad. I didn't notice that about all the background singing for her. How interesting. 54. Swan/Bella Thorne: OMG I had the clue correctly figured out but the wrong person? Rawr. I was and am familiar with Bella and could hear her voice in the Swan, although I didn't come up with that guess myself. Why did I think she had more than two performances? Hmm but I thought she was fine, although not one of the better ones. 53. Broccoli/Paul Anka: I didn't mind Broccoli but his face always reminded me of ThingAmAJig. Not a bad thing, I just couldn't not think of that. Anyway, I would have preferred Squiggly Monster, but he was decent. 52. Taco/Tom Bergeron: I wish he had lasted longer. His voice was so obvious and clear to me. I didn't expect him to be as good of a singer as he was, even if not one of the strongest contenders. I enjoyed him and thought he was fun. And I thought of the Bob Saget thing too! 51. Kangaroo/Jordyn Woods: I didn't mind her at first, but I thought she was kind of overrated by the judges. "Unfortunately, she had to compete in the Smackdown with Astronaut after it." That performance wasn't so great but oh yayyy my shoutout. Hallelujah! But yeah, I also had no idea who she was. She did okay though and made it quite far. - An apparatus that could dance if fed with Cash Money: Robot? Ooh and I see Cash Money is the name of Lil Wayne's record label, so this makes sense. - Someone who chilled with a nice view: Penguins are chilly ( ) and Sherri Shepherd is on The View. - There is a golden gate entry to this fluffy act: I'll guess Poodle because dogs can be fluffy and Margaret Cho won a GLAAD Golden Gate Award. - This insect may not be so dainty considering her family: Ladybug/Kelly Osbourne. - Who allowed toddlers to jet through the sky?: Baby Alien

Yeah, he was and I remember there being some outcry over it. Pretty much agree with everything written here. 54. Sorry. I thought she had more than two myself and was surprised she didn't when I went back to watch her performances. Agree with the last sentence. 53. His face does look similar to Thingamajig. Agree about him being decent. 52. Pretty much agree with him being fun and wishing he would've lasted longer. Yeah, the Bob Saget thing was funny thinking about it. Maybe Tom being on the show inspired him to do it. 51. I had a feeling you would appreciate the Astronaut shoutout. She did do fine all things considered, especially seeing she wasn't a professional singer. You were 4/5 in this set! We'll see how the next turns out... Crisis
50. Penguin/Sherri Shepherd Season 2: Eliminated 5th Episode Penguin - The Middle Penguin - Worth It Penguin - All About That Bass Penguin Unmasking Clue: Someone who chilled with a nice view Penguins dwell in the South Pole or Antarctica, which is notorious for cold weather. The nice view is a reference to Sherri co-hosting The View. Kicking off the Top 50 is one of the coldest Masked Singer acts. Penguin was someone who gave a couple of decent performances before bowing out of the competition. In addition, she had some hilarious moments, especially with her pinching Nick’s butt after her performances. Speaking of such, she sang The Middle for her first performance and while she gave a decent effort, she was no match for Fox and thus had to sing in the Smackdown against Eagle. She won the match up after singing Worth It and went on to sing All About That Bass the next time we saw her. She wasn’t as fortunate this time around as she was unmasked at the end of the episode. She was revealed to be comedian and talk show host Sherri Shepherd. At the end of the day, Penguin was someone who was fine. 49. Poodle/Margaret Cho Season 1: Eliminated 4th Episode Poodle - Heartbreaker Poodle - Time After Time Poodle Unmasking Clue: There is a golden gate entry to this fluffy act Margaret Cho is from San Francisco, which is home to the Golden Gate Bridge. Poodles are known as fluffy dogs. I’m at a place where it’s becoming difficult to write about some of these acts because there isn’t much I have to say about them. Well, Poodle gave two performances during her stay on the show. The first was the Pat Benatar rock anthem Heartbreaker and the second being the classic Cyndi Lauper ballad Time After Time. I preferred the latter because I thought she sounded better plus the swing was a nice touch. She would be eliminated after TAT and was revealed to be Margaret Cho, who would go down in TMS history as being the first female act to be unmasked. One of the more memorable things was the panel ribbing on Ken for not getting her. Outside of this, I don’t have anything more to say about Poodle. 48. Ladybug/Kelly Osbourne Season 2: Eliminated 5th Episode Ladybug - Holding Out For A Hero Ladybug - Hit Me With Your Best Shot Ladybug - Juice Ladybug - Youngblood Ladybug Unmasking Clue: This insect may not be so dainty considering her family Ladybugs are insects, and dainty is a word that is used to describe women sometimes. Kelly is one of the Osbournes, who aren't exactly the ideal family image wise. Crawling into this ranking is Ladybug. Ladybug had some solid performances with Holding Out For A Hero, Juice, and Youngblood. For HOFAH, my favorite part was Ken pumping his fist in the air. However, she went against Rottweiler, and it was easy to see she would be on the losing end. Thus, she competed in the Smackdown against Ice Cream and won with her rendition of Hit Me With Your Best Shot. Juice was a lively performance, and she appeared to be more confident on stage. Youngblood was OK; however, it would be her last because she was eliminated after it. Ladybug was unveiled to be Kelly Osbourne. One of the funny things about her was how offended she looked when the panel guessed her to be Lindsay Lohan. Ladybug was fine but not someone who I would consider a strong favorite. 47. Robot/Lil Wayne Season 3: Group A (First Eliminated) Robot - Are You Gonna Go My Way Robot Unmasking Clue: An apparatus that could dance if fed with Cash Money Robots are apparatuses or machine. Cash Money was the label Lil Wayne was with at the beginning of his career. Up next is Robot. It’s too bad Robot didn’t last longer because I thought he gave one of the better performances of the episode. Are You Gonna Go My Way was a lot of fun, plus he showed off some impressive moves in the costume. Speaking of the costume, I thought it was pretty cool. Unfortunately, he was the first one eliminated and was revealed to be none other than rapper Lil Wayne. I knew it was him from the first note because he has one of the most recognizable voices in music. I was surprised none of the panel got him, especially Robin since he worked with him a number of times (then again, he didn’t guess Giraffe either despite the two being childhood friends) . Regardless, it was cool to hear him sing despite being a rapper although I believe he sang in a few of his songs. I would’ve placed him higher had he lasted longer; however, I think this is a good spot for him. 46. Baby Alien/Mark Sanchez Season 4: Group B (Second Eliminated) Baby Alien - Faith Baby Alien - It's Time Baby Alien Unmasking Clue: Who allowed toddlers to jet through the sky? Baby Alien was in a UFO which fly through the skies. The jet is a reference to Mark being a QB for the New York Jets early in his career. Closing the set is Baby Alien. I thought Baby Alien was one of the most creative costumes the show has ever had. Having the alien as a puppet in a UFO was genius. Baby Alien himself wasn’t a terrible singer. His two performances (Faith and It’s Time) were both very solid. The main thing he may be remembered for, however, is his revelation. Many people thought he was a puppet master or comedian. Nonetheless, he turned out to be former NFL QB Mark Sanchez. The Internet buzz was pretty strong because hardly anyone got this right, including me. If there was a reference to the Butt Fumble in some form, I probably would’ve guessed him. Another remarkable thing was how he fit in that costume, seeing that he’s a pretty big guy. Nevertheless, Baby Alien was a cool act all things considered. 50. Penguin/Sherri Shepherd: 49. Poodle/Margaret Cho: 48. Ladybug/Kelly Osbourne: 47. Robot/Lil Wayne: 46. Baby Alien/Mark Sanchez: Clues for 45-41 (in no particular order): -Came from great comedy roots -Perfect name for something unidentifiable despite a triple letter brand -Spoke daily on the airwaves nevermore -Venomous act that shares a name with a costume from the upcoming set -Wails some killer tunes every morning or other times of the day
Teraginn
Hello! I am a fan of this show and I'm glad someone is doing a rankdown for it! I will definitely follow this and I would like to give my thoughts on the previous entries so far! 75. Lips/Wendy Williams I don't get the hate for the costume itself, I thought it was an iconic costume, if a little creepy. Also, watch this video instead of her actual performance video, it's freaking hilarious: 74. Gremlin/Mickey Rourke I also don't get the EXTREME hate that Mickey got when he unceremoniously took off his costume. He clearly was suffering inside there based on those vocals, let the man breathe. Also, what kind of gremlin is that?? And what is up with its mouth? This just seems like a very phoned in costume, appropriate for a phoned in performance. 73. Raccoon/Danny Trejo See, although I thought Danny and Mickey are pretty much equal in terms of terrible vocals, I enjoyed Danny a lot more, and that's because he's actually ENJOYING himself up on stage. Yes, we know how ridiculous this show is, might as well lean into it! Definitely one of the more surprising reveals for me. 72. Hippo/Antonio Brown Yeah, I don't do sports, so I can't really comment on this one. 71. Egg/Johnny Weir Same as above LOL. I appreciate the song choice though. 70. Phoenix/Caitlyn Jenner Man, I hate how this fantastic costume was wasted on such a terrible vocalist. I mean, I guess the costume was appropriate in terms of star caliber, but I wanted to see more of this costume. At least she went out in a blaze of glory. 69. Pineapple/Tommy Chong Tommy seems like the perfect person to join these kinds of things, glad he had fun out there. 68. Elephant/Tony Hawk This has to be one of my favorite reveals in 5 seasons of The Masked singer. I LOOOOVE Tony Hawk and while I didn't actually skate, I played with Tony Hawk Proskater 2 & 3 all the time on PS1, and I just got a wave of nostalgia when Tony revealed himself. I also think his costume is terrific, definitely one of my favorites. I like to judge costumes based on if it's something I think can be feasibly worn in real life, minus the mask, and I absolutely love the orange and black color scheme of the costume. I'm so sad we didn't get to see more of Tony, especially since he wasn't that bad of a vocalist! I think this is the only mask so far whose place in this rankdown I would contest, he's easily Top 40 for me at least. 67. Ice Cream/Tyler "Ninja" Blevins & 66. Grandpa Monster/Logan Paul Just gonna lump these two together coz they're obviously the token Gen Z celebs the show likes to use to try and get in with the younger crowd. I appreciate the variety they provide for the show, but I have zero idea who Ninja is, and Logan's reputation did not endear him to me. 65. Giraffe/Brian Austin Green I don't know who this man is TBH, but I can't believe he actually had a rap career based on his first performance. I love his costume though, looks like he and Leopard can coexist in the same period. 64. Deer/Terry Bradshaw Looooove the steampunk-y theming of this costume, and bless Terry for being so game with this show's conceit. 63. White Tiger/Rob Gronkowski Another fantastic costume wasted on a terrible vocalist/rapper(???). And I would argue that his caliber of celebrity did not even match the costume's quality, unlike Caitlyn. Look, I just don't follow sports, OK? 62. Llama/Drew Carey This is honestly one of the most adorable costumes I've seen on this show, and I'm so happy it went to a really funny and invested celebrity. I loved both of Drew's performances as the Llama, and I love how he just leans into the absurdity of it all. I would have wanted to see more of him than *shudders* White Tiger. 61. Bear/Sarah Palin By far the most shocking reveal in Masked Singer history. I mean, did y'all seriously guessed SARAH FREAKING PALIN would actually consider doing this show, singing Baby Got Back in a day glo bear suit? Y'all must be cheating. 60. Eagle/Dr. Drew Pinsky I don't follow American pop culture that closely to know who this man is, but his earnest attempt at singing Meatloaf made me cackle when I first watched it, so props to him. Also, I thought he had one of the jankier costumes: I like the All-American theming, but I hate it when costume designers incorporate the arms when doing wings for bird costumes. Just do separate wings on the back! Sorry, I watch this franchise a lot and it's just a weirdly specific pet peeve of mine. 59. T-Rex/JoJo Siwa The fact that she managed to shut up inside her mask throughout her run on the show is a miracle. Kidding aside, I think she's the perfect celebrity for this kind of show, and I enjoyed her performances and costume a lot. 58. Panda/Laila Ali Cute costume, but ultimately forgettable performance. 57. Skeleton/Paul Shaffer He's definitely more of a musician than a singer. I also found his costume lacking a bit. Maybe it's the beige color scheme. 56. Squiggly Monster/Bob Saget Love Bob Saget, him joining the show makes perfect sense to me. I actually think this is my favorite Monster costume. I just love how it was inspired by a kid's drawing. 55. Unicorn/Tori Spelling I think she honestly got as far as she did because she's a draw for the key demographic that still watches live TV. I also don't like her costume. You're a freaking unicorn, put some color and glitter on that bland white costume of yours! 54. Swan/Bella Thorne Another celebrity who I think is perfectly suited for shows like this. Glad she was on, and love the costume. 53. Broccoli/Paul Anka As someone who grew up listening to old white crooners on casette tape, this reveal made me so happy! Very surprised that he was able to do this show given his advanced age. And I love how appreciative he was of being there performing completely out of type. 52. Taco/Tom Bergeron I still remembered him from watching America's Funniest Home Videos on Disney Channel, and although I hated his costume, I was thoroughly entertained by his singing. 51. Kangaroo/Jordyn Woods I think her being on this show meant a lot to her in terms of her moving on from her sordid past, and I hope she's doing much better now. 50. Penguin/Sherri Shepherd I LOOOOOVE Sherri Shepherd, she's one of my favorite character actors, and I think her sassiness really showed through in her performances. 49. Poodle/Margaret Cho I feel like I should know who this is, but I don't. I think her costume is really fun at least. 48. Ladybug/Kelly Osbourne You'd think an Osbourne wouldn't be so nervous singing up there on stage. I guess the anonymity of the costume (which is gorgeous BTW) adds pressure to the performance? 47. Robot/Lil Wayne I'd rank his reveal as the third most surprising one in Masked Singer history, behind Sarah and Caitlyn, mostly because the minute he opened his mouth, you know it's Lil Wayne. I love that he chose his costume for his kids, and I did not expect how game he was with the conceit of the show. 46. Baby Alien/Mark Sanchez I think this is the costume that genuinely stumped the majority of America. Again, I don't follow sports, but I remembered his reveal being talked about a lot for how unexpected it was. I thought the costume was unique and fantastic, love the puppet element to it and how it misdirected the panel's (and America's) guesses. Also he's kinda cute and can sing, so what's not to like? PHEW. Can't believe I got through all of that in one sitting. Thanks for reading if you got all the way here, and can't wait for the next 45 masks!

Hi, welcome aboard! It's always nice to have more posters follow and comment! 75. Yeah, the costume was memorable albeit for the wrong reasons (for me at least). I just watched the video and have no idea what to say about it. 74. Heh, the costume was weird. I've read the costumes are hot and difficult to breathe and see in; I guess it was too much for him and he just wanted to have more air. 73. I don't disagree with much written here. I knew it was Danny based on his voice and clues. 72 & 71. Fair enough. 70. Yeah it was unfortunate the person underneath the costume wasn't good enough to last at least an extra week. The costume is one of the best designed ones. 69. It does seem like something he would have fun with. He did enjoy himself on stage. 68. Oh man, those games were a lot of fun to play! I remember staying up all night playing them. As for Tony himself, I probably could've ranked him higher in hindsight. The costume's design was really cool as well. 67 & 66. I see the point about appealing to the Gen Z crowd. I didn't know who Ninja was either and Logan doesn't have the most sterling reputation, although it appears he's at least trying to be a better person. 65. He's an actor who tried to dabble in music. I haven't heard any of it, but I probably won't if it's anything like his performances on the show. 64. Pretty much agree with what was written here. 63. The costume was nice. It's too bad Gronk wasn't as nice as a performer although something like this is right up his alley. 62. It took some time getting used to the attached rear legs, but the costume was a nice design. He did appear to lean into the absurdity of everything. 61. It definitely is one of the most shocking reveals, if not the most shocking one. The whole thing was surreal and one of the most iconic TMS moments. 60. I can see how the costume's design can be irritating. At least he appeared to have fun on stage. 59. The shade. I wasn't too familiar with this act, so I don't have much to say about her. She was energetic and fun, and her costume was pretty nice. 58. Understandable on both fronts. 57. Pretty much agree with everything here. 56. The costume was inspired by a kid's drawing? I wasn't aware of that (or maybe it was mentioned and I didn't pay attention). It does appear to make perfect sense for him to be on the show. 55. Understandable points on both the reason she lasted as long and the costume. 54. Everything here make sense. 53. He was pretty game on stage despite his advanced age. He did appear to be appreciative. 52. I loved him and Daisy Fuentes on AFHV. His singing wasn't all that bad and I kind of liked the costume. 51. Pretty much agree with everything written here. 50. Her sassiness did show in her performances as well as her interactions with Nick. 49. Fair enough. 48. Maybe the anonymity did add some pressure for her. On the other hand, other acts said being behind the costumes allowed them to be something other than what they're known for. 47. It was pretty easy to see Robot was Lil Wayne based on the voice (although not for the panel because no one got him right ). I liked how he went on the show and picked the costume for his kids. 46. It sure as heck stumped me. The puppet element certainly made it one of the more unique costumes. I'll take your word for it about the last sentence. I did read everything and enjoyed the commentary. Happy to see you're looking forward to the remaining acts! 7 hours ago, thevoiceisthetop said: Came from great comedy roots - Tree -Perfect name for something unidentifiable despite a triple letter brand - Whatchamacallit -Spoke daily on the airwaves nevermore - Raven -Venomous act that shares a name with a costume from the upcoming set - Black Widow -Wails some killer tunes every morning or other times of the day - Black Swan We'll see if these are right or not... It's still a passing score! I hope all has been well. Thank you! 50. Penguin/Sherri Shepherd: I actually expected her to rank quite a bit lower and am surprised she's here. She was okay for me, but not great and I didn't really care for her. But I love penguins. 49. Poodle/Margaret Cho: I get you on not having much to say here and I really don't either. I loved the thing with Ken though and how he didn't guess ~his own sister~. But Poodle was just okay from what I remember. 48. Ladybug/Kelly Osbourne: I got the clue but was actually thinking of dainty being something small. I can pretty much echo your thoughts her on Ladybug as well. I have to add that her costume really creeped me out. I wasn't a fan of that. I did think she was better than Penguin and Poodle, but still wasn't crazy about her. "For HOFAH, my favorite part was Ken pumping his fist in the air. " 47. Robot/Lil Wayne: This is such a good spot for a first boot. I don't think he was all that great, but he was fun and it would have been interesting to see what else he'd do. lol Robin and his missed guesses. 46. Baby Alien/Mark Sanchez: Oh haha I didn't get the football reference but got both "baby" and "alien" from separate parts of the clue. Ahh this was one of the craziest costumes but it was so funny to see. I didn't think he was that bad, at least on the first performance. I'm not familiar with him outside of the show, but I did think he was cute when unmasked as well. Ahh yay I did well on the clues again, but let's see for this time.... -Came from great comedy roots: I'll guess Tree for its roots and because Ana Gasteyer is a comedian. -Perfect name for something unidentifiable despite a triple letter brand: I'm thinking Whatchamacallit/Lonzo Ball... because I expect ThingAmAJig to be higher and think there is a candy bar reference here. -Spoke daily on the airwaves nevermore: OH I get it now. "nevermore" references The Raven poem by Edgar Allen Poe. And Ricki hosted a talk show, so this makes sense. -Venomous act that shares a name with a costume from the upcoming set: Okay, I immediately think of Raven Symon (Black Widow), which would put Ricki Lake (Raven) in this set too... *goes back to previous clue* -Wails some killer tunes every morning or other times of the day: I want to say Orca/Mark McGrath. A killer whale... and I think he works on various shows at different times of the day. Ooh and one is Killer Karaoke so this is perfect.

You're welcome. 50. I was going to rank her lower but realized I liked more than initially thought. Penguins are cool, so I don't blame you there. 49. Pretty much agree with everything here. 48. Aw, I thought the costume was kind of cool. Oh well, we don't have to agree on everything. Agree with everything else. 47. Yeah, it would've been great to see him last longer and see what else he would do. 46. It was one of the craziest costumes. He wasn't that bad for a non-singer. I can see that regarding the last sentence. That you did! We'll see about the next set.
