In Carter’s defense, his fans suggested it repeatedly all season and he was trying to make them happy - if he’d dropped it several semitones, it may have worked a bit better.

 

Shane’s just qualified as cruel and unusual punishment for outlasting Myracle. Again, not his fault that’s what America wanted, but it’s a performance I won’t miss seeing pop up in my YouTube recommendations.

I do think you missed an opportunity of putting Ayanna Joni's performance of No Tears Left To Cry from the S15 comeback stage! I would've picked that slayage

Jake and Gyth were just mediocre, neither of these were a real trainwreck.

 

Ayanna and Shane were probably the worst of this bunch of the worst performances (Celia is probably third).

 

There were many trainwreck performances in older seasons as well (I remember many from S7-S14)
