I don't think I've ever given this many high ratings in one night? Tonight was fantastic!

1. Cam Anthony (10) - DAMN.

2. Zania Alake (9.5) - DAMN.

2. Savanna Woods (9.5) - DAMN.

 

4. Gihanna Zoe (9) - She just nailed that in my book! She's so impressive for her age. Team Kelly is an absolute bloodbath!

5. Rachel Mac (9) - Most improved by FAR. Looking forward to seeing what she can do in the next round! Hopefully she handles the pressure of lives well.

6. Anna Grace (8.5) - Easily her best so far in the competition! She showed she can definitely adapt. Those first 2 songs for her were poorly selected, but I guess she can manage any song they give her if they let her do what she wants.

7. Kenzie Wheeler (8) - Songs like this will never get above an 8 for me. This man's gonna win and he's a solid singer, but damn... there's too much talent this season. He did nail this and deserves to go on. Just again... such a stacked season.

 

8. Zae Romeo (8) - His best performance by far, but awful arrangement for the song. That's literally the only thing that kept me from liking this more. Solid notes at the end though!

9. Carolina Rial (8) - Not perfect, but this is the most under control that she's been. Strange, since this is a song I literally don't think I've seen done decently. I don't even like Demi's voice on this lol. Besides the point... Carolina put up a strong fight! 

10. Rio Doyle (7.5) - She did as well as she could with this! They did this poor girl WRONG for both battles and KOs. Granted, she was DOA for her KO - but she gave it 100% and did well enough. She landed on the wrong team, clearly.

11. Devan Blake Jones (7.5) - After relistening to it, it wasn't awful, but it was a very big miss. Too big of a song for his voice.

12. Emma Caroline (7) - This is the most confident we've seen her, but it's not enough. She went too far in this competition imo. And she's got a big chance at winning this solely by being Blake's girl.

13. Avery Roberson (7) - You can tell he can perform this better than he ended up doing. So much potential at the beginning but he peaked with his blind, sadly.

14. Connor Christian (6) - I dig the scarf. Congrats on that wedding!

A fantastic night.

 

1. Cam- Vocal masterclass right here. He´s deep into jazz, and it shows. Now my pick to win this thing.

2. Savanna W - Black Hole Sun baby, let´s go for that 4 way KO win!

3. Zania - Excellent vocal, and I loved the dramatic breakdown at the end.

4. Kenzie - Our possible winner of the season, and I wouldn´t be mad because he can sing. Needs to work on stage prescence though.

5. Zae - Very good, not as impactful as his blind, but a huge improvement over his battle.

6. Rachel - The little underdog that could. Her best performance so far.

7. Anna - Very emotive and controlled. Deserved steal

8. Gihanna - Started a bit breathy for me, but killed the bridge and the high notes.

9. Rio - She wasn´t bad per se, but definitely outshined, and had the wrong song for her.

10. Devan - The beggining was excellent, after that it went south.

11. Carolina - The beggining was a mess, then she killed the chorus, and it went back to being a mess.

12. Avery - Gorgeous beggining, but he fell hard later. That falsetto was not good.

13. Emma - Pretty tone but nervious as hell. Her pitch suffered from it big time.

14. Connor - Man, that was straight up merciless.

Tonight's KOs: 

 

1. Cam - Holy. Sh**. Not this kid committing uncensored murder on national TV a week after Dana did the same.
2. Zania - Almost perfect, but tbh the preview made her "never never never" seem better than it was in the performance
3. Anna - Gorgeous and emotional, big thumbs up from me.
4. Gihanna - Very strong, just weakened by the fact she had to follow Anna.
5. Zae - A cool version of the song, I just had Noah's playing in my head the entire time.
6. Rachel - A big step up from her blind, but I preferred her battle over this.
7. Kenzie - He'd honestly beat Gihanna if he'd picked a different song.
8. Rio - I liked this more than I expected to; her biggest problem was her opponent.
9. Carolina - I wasn't expecting her to be my favorite of the 4WKO tonight, but here we are.
10. Savanna - The song was a great fit for her, but I'm not sure how that will translate for votes.
11. Avery - He peaked at his blind (and is better than this performance), but I did like the song choice more than Kenzie's.
12. Emma - Not bad and she seemed less nervous, 
13. Devan - If the whole performance had been as good as the second half, he'd beat out Avery here.
14. Connor - He deserved better than both that song choice and being fodder for Cam.

Okay, the obviously great ones from the episode tonight for me were Rachel, Cam and Savanna . I was pretty surprised by Rachel tbh, that was her best by very far.

 

I liked Anna, Gihanna and Zae, they all sounded nice but not really into the whole performance. Maybe the songs or their arrangements didn't move me at all.

Yeah, that was a lot of power for sure. I think he can sing pretty much anything. Some Eagles would serve him well, I think.

Rachel was my favorite but omg there were so many good knockouts.  Zae, Zania, Savannah, Kenzie, Cam, and Anna Grace all had banger knockouts as well, what a talent-filled night.  I really wish this was the old format of the show and we had more time with this group of contestants but oh well.

 

My overall ranking would be

1. Rachel 10/10: Stellar performance, showed off how good her voice and her overall range is.

2. Savanna 9.5/10: Another great performance from someone I thought was robbed from an easy Battles win (though Corey easily had the best. (though he easily had the best knockout this season so I'm not complaining much).  This performance moved up a lot for me after rewatching it, I hope she wins as the other 3 were...not that great.

3. Zania 9.3/10: She's always been great so her being this cracked is a no brainer.

4. Zae 9/10: Great improvement from his battle round where I thought he lost pretty handily, standing up to someone as good as Rachel vocally is pretty impressive.  Thought their KO was the closest I've seen ever.

5. Kenzie 8.7/10: Another stellar improvement from his battles/blinds which I thought were both boring.  He killed this performance and while I like Corey better than him, if he brings this level of heat to the playoffs he could definitely take America's vote.

6. Cam 8.5/10:  Wow, what an improvement from his blinds and battles!  Didn't love this as much as a lot of you did but it was still a banger knockout.  He really picked it up at the end with the scatting and the high notes.

7. Anna Grace 8/10: Another massive improvement from the blinds and battles, loved her high notes and voice.  I thought she easily won that knockout, glad Blake stole her.

8. Gihanna 6/10:  Thought she lost this knockout but was still a solid performance.  Funnily enough I thought she lost her battle too, her BA was my favorite of hers.

9. Devan 5/10:  Expected a lot more from him given that he was like top 5 of the show for me purely considering the Battles, but oh well.  Decent enough IG but nowhere near Savanna

10. Avery 4/10: Meh

11. Carolina 2/10: Damn I really liked her blind, thought it was one of the best this season, but this was not it.  

12. Rio 1/10:  Really liked her performance in the battles but...this was also just not it.

13. Emma 0.5/10: Pretty bad performance, cemented my opinion that Blake wasted his save on her since her battle wasn't that good either.

14. Connor 0/10: Wtf was this lmao

I don't get how out of sync this message board is with the the American television audience.  It's amazing how far from reality the majority of this forums opinions are. 

 

Kenzie is going to win and it's not even close.  Looking the part, charisma, in the moment performances that peak the publics interest, and genuine talent win singing competitions.  Kenzie has all that and more.  He was born to be a star.  Jake Hoot won and he's not one tenth the talent Kenzie is.  Kenzie is exciting and fresh with absolute top tier explosive talent far beyond any competition The Voice provides.  Kelly knows it.

 

Everyone is entitled to their opinion - but how can this forum be so consistently crazy wrong season after season?

I definitely wouldn't say it is not even close.  He had a great knockout but so did at least 9 other people lol.  Him having the country vote gives him a big advantage for sure since he has pretty much zero country competition this season but if the right people make the playoffs he can definitely get outperformed and outcompeted.  Given how good the people are this year his victory will depend if he can maintain the level of quality he showed in the knockouts and how much the other's slip up.

Ohh I see lol.  If this was like a lot of other seasons with a lot of mid level people I could definitely see him pulling a Chevel and crushing everyone else week after week but the people this season are too good for that to happen I think.  Definitely wouldn't be surprised or mad if he ended up winning provided his performances are all around his KO quality.

Honestly, it IS not even close. Outperformed maybe, but that doesn't mean he would get outvoted. I honestly can't see an outcome where Kenzie doesn't win at this point.
