I'm also surprised about Mathew Shuler but why Matt McAndrew??? When it comes to male contestants he's the top guy here.

There's nothing wrong with recency bias here tho. I didn't ask for people to vote for who is the best? but I said who would you pick? meaning you have to pick your favorite.

I voted for Matt McAndrew and I’m not even a fan. I had to pick one.  
 

Cam is good, but it’s a little ridiculous to include him in the poll when he hasn’t even performed live on the show yet.

Lol at Maelyn and Matt starting slow and the quickly climbing their way to the top. Deservingly though.

 

Surprised at both the lack of support for Alisan (since I always see her high in the contestant rankings), and the fact that Britton is not doing too bad. I thought he would be dead last in the poll since he has never been particularly liked or mentioned in contestant rankings. Good for him though. I really enjoyed his run on the show.

Also, Cam is very good, but I find it funny that he´s close to leading a poll of well liked and respected male contestants on IDF with only two performances of him being shown so far. There´s always the chance of him underdelivering in the lives, which I hope doesn´t happen, but still is possible if he´s given a tragic song choice.
