As long as she has a visa (which she had last year), she's fine. Vancouver to Los Angeles is a common [direct] flight, and she'd be allowed to travel since it's work/media-related and she'd be quarantining in LA for the required duration anyway. She either wasn't asked or turned the offer down.

Same. I feel for the contestants who competed on S18 as they were kind of robbed of the whole experience because of the pandemic, but is this the way to make it right?

Yeah, we shouldn’t judge too hard if we don’t even know how it will work. If anything, it’s granting me at least one more performance from Makayla, so I can’t complain.

As for someone who rooted for Arthur last year, I feel like at this point I'm putting all my votes towards Grace/Alanis.  if this ends up being true, which I have trusted IM's sources since 2009/S9

Sorry! I am mostly just a lurker (since Season 10) but this twist made me a little dramatic and emotional. I don't know what to feel. I like last year's cast so so much. I just don't want this year's cast to suffer just "to make things right" for last year's Top 24.
