Pure pop is just Hailey Yeah, Hailey is the only one I would consider pure pop out of Kelly's team, but Jeremy's voice does give out a pop vibe as well. Obviously not as much, but it does, as proven by his battle where he sang a pop song. That being said, he did an R&B twist on his song in his BA and the gospel influece is clear in his voice as well. Yeah I can see Samara picked too big of a song and in the bigger notes and transitions it was a bit uncomfortable, but overall I preferred hers to Katie (who I felt really didn’t do anything she hadn’t done before) and Holly (who kinda just stayed there and wasn’t very interesting tbh) I’d rewatch Samara over the other 2, imperfections and all. Anybody354 Posted October 29, 2021 Share Posted October 29, 2021 Saw the leak. Samara’s performance did not quite “land” for me even if it was pretty good. I actually think I preferred Jack’s battle round and Sabrina’s knockout. That being said, I do think she deserves a second chance given she still has done at least pretty good each round (her blind and battle are amazing).
