No, the worst part is that most of them had already chosen him as a coach before Robegate, because S16´s auditions were filmed before that.

I felt sorry for those who picked him before that.  I felt no sympathy for those who picked him after that (Kendra, Betsy, post-Comeback L.B.).  Okay, mild sympathy for Kendra and Betsy since I suppose they had no way of knowing about the oncoming slaughter.  But zero for L.B., who saw it happen and still went back to him.

Unluckiest team ever, and the worst part is that S16 was his best team in years in my opinion, and they went through that humillation.

The demise of that team had nothing to do with Adam, it was the fault of that stupid cross battles being added that season and the foolish choices made by the voters...but that's water under the bridge now.

You know that's not true...the truth is that the producers tried very hard to keep him after he decided to leave, but he wanted out.

Once again, I don't believe you.  Never will.

Conner had actually started out well.  But he got some spit in his throat, and it threw off his game, because he was simultaneously trying to sing while also trying not to choke on his spit.

They even cut out the very nice beginning he had.

Oof. He might have gotten a chair turn if that hadn't happened, I actually thought his voice was really cool but he seemed to be holding back a lot.

Although it's good for them to watch TV before going on it, it's not a requirement and probably no one tells them to, so I don't think they're to blame.

Yeah, the Cross Battles didn´t help at all. Hope they never come back.

I think the concept is great, but nerves are always going to be a big issue. Also, they can't necessarily cut all of the people who can't reliably sing live by the knockouts/CBs.

And now you know why.
