Right up there with Cosmic Love, Anymore and Just the Two of Us, to give some examples. Corey's head voice was perfectly used in the beginning. It contrasted well with his powerful chest voice towards the end. It's a very dynamic performance. And I honestly felt every word he sang. I couldn't ask for more. I can only hope that his next performance would be just as good as this one, if not better. Please Kelly/TPTB, treat him right. I think the song 'No matter what' would be great for him. Does he comes in here to read our comments? But for Playoffs and wildcard he's going to need some very strategic song choices in order to appeal to minivan. I loved both this performance and his blind, so I'm really hoping to see him go far (Even to the finale, if possible!). I think he and Kelly would do SO well on a duet in the finale, too. Ooh, I think he would do well on "Make You Feel My Love" in terms of capturing the emotion (after all, that's one of his biggest strengths). My only concern is that he has a really powerful voice and I'm not sure if he'll be able to translate that onto that specific song. Kenzie will obviously have the PV, but given Kelly´s reaction to him yesterday, he seems to be a steady candidate for her save. If that doesn´t happen, he´s going to the Wildcard, and I don´t see anybody that could beat him (with probably Pete being the exception, but he´s probably going to be saved by Blake or even get the PV on his team). I thought Jordan would be stiff competition, but with the outrage of Ethan going home, I don´t see it now. Given Pete's survival to the bus yesterday (something I'm still very happy about), I think he could make it past playoffs without the WC. I think he is still the primary candidate for Blake's save and Corey for Kelly's. Its the Top 8 WC where I think your gonna have to instant save one of them into the finale, and yeah, I feel you, its gonna suck for me if it comes to that, but I'll stick with whoever performs better in that moment.
