"Good Days" by SZA as well. I've heard little parts of it before but I listened to it in full until after seeing Libiancas version and now i'm obsessed

Embarassing, but as a Canadian I didn't even know who Joni Mitchell was (nor did I ever hear her songs)  until I watched the show..

Yeah, I had not heard A Case of You before tbh

- A LOOOOOT of old soul and Motown music. “Midnight Train To Georgia”, “Use Me”, “I Wish”, “Take Me To The River”, etc.

- I wouldn’t call it a “favorite” but “Til You Can’t” by Cody Johnson (Jay Allen BA song) is one of the best mainstream modern country songs I’ve heard.

- Chloe Kohanski was essentially the catalyst for me getting into Fleetwood Mac, and Addison Agen for Joni Mitchell.

- “Así Fue” sung by Mandi Castillo

- LMAO “Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy” 😭😭😭 Sorelle’s version is kind of a mess but I love the original now.

"Vienna"

i know people are tired of that song and none of the versions on the show have been exactly great, (even though i enjoyed three of them) but i ended up loving that song a lot.

"Iris"

I felt in love with Sawyer's version and now i love the original. I also loved Kala's version (i already mentioned it but Kala's made me fall in love with the song again lol)

I am NOT tired of “Vienna” it’s just that people keep covering it mediocrely ☺️

i know most will disagree but i thought Kat was really good. Rowan didn’t meet expectations and Ryley-Tate was fine but i haven’t listened to it since it aired

I guess I agree that Kat probably did the best out of the three? But I just can't with her tone, and I clearly am not alone on that. I recall watching her KO while it was airing and my mom said "Parang di naman maganda" (it's hard to translate in a way that conveys the original meaning but basically she thought it was bad)

My favorite cover of Vienna on the show is this one, for that matter.

not great, but still better than the teenagers

I've never heard this before but actually I think it's pretty great. Miles better than the other covers.

It's just flew over my head between all the Season 11 auditions. I genuinely thought for a good amount of time that  Kat's cover was the first one in the show. It didn't help that Adam used him as a fodder for Billy.

Probably one of my favorite male tones on the entire show. Such a shame he went out so early.

He kind of outsang Billy in that battle tbh but I get it, if the Battle is close enough, you always choose the more memorable contestant.

Also random fun fact yesterday was the 50 year anniversary of the day "Midnight Ttain to Georgia" was released

Do you think Billy made it because of or despite Adam or he would have on any team? As for his battle partner on my if the runners up battled. She’s pretty good but I don’t know if an IDF fave.

He would have likely made it on any team. He was a pretty good vocalist. But no, he is not an IDF's fav. Mostly because he honestly lacks emotion, and he often tried to chew more than he could bite (Yeah, his Semifinal performance was rough).

But coming back on topic, "Anyway" by Martina Mcbride is another song that the show made me love.

Agreed. He definitely oversang a bit.

Yeah. Taryn Papa did a great job with it.
