Mine are actually:

-“If You’re Reading This”

-“Just Got Started Lovin’ You”

-“Tomorrow” (the Chris Young one)

-“Mercy” (I really like the Shawn Mendes one, but it is the Brett Young song I am talking about on that matter)

-“Yellow” (I have seen the S17 battle of this song, but really it wasn’t my new favorite song until S21)

-“I Swear” (I found out Kirk Jay actually performed this song on The Voice in S15, but really it wasn’t my new favorite until S21)

I hadn't heard "The Winner Takes It All" before Rowan sang it but it inspired me to listen to original and it is an AMAZING pop song.

I still don't forgive the audience that she went through over Devix though.

On the contrary, I wasnt familiar with Omar's song so I checked the original and I hated it.

I'll take his version any day.

One of the best pop songs of all time, period.

Most rnb and soul songs performed on  The Voice if I'm honest..

So for the oldies that includes the likes of Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Gladys knight, Anita Baker, Otis redding

And for more "recent" rnb that includes Tevin Campbell, SWV, Boys 2 men, Luther Vandross, Brandy, Sade

There's many more I'm forgetting I'm sure.

Yup, my RNB/Soul music palette was next to none existent... let's just say when I was younger I was very much a rock/metal listener that occasionally dabbled in the indie scene.

I always thought rock/metal had bar none the best vocalists of any genre but RNB/Soul introduced me to a different type of singing. Runs were a very foreign thing to me and I was immediately intrigued. But I instantly gravitated to the vocal squals and growls, and the grit, rasp, gravelly tones that many Soul singers have.

Safe to say Rock, metal, rnb, soul, and indie music usually have my favourite singers.

A couple of songs outside the rnb/Soul genre that The voice has introduced me to.

"Cover me up" by Jason Isbell.

Excellent song, I looked into his discography and theres a few song to this day i listen to occasionally. "Elephant" and "if I were a vampire" most notably. It's been years but I remember liking his southeastern album.

"Always on my mind"

Listened to willie Nelson's version and it's pretty touching.

"Tennesee whiskey"

Haven't delved into his music but Stapleton's voice is awesome, have listened to a few live performances.

"I Cant Stand the Rain" by Ann Peebles, but the Tina Turner version. (Performed by Kim Cruse)

The show really helped me realize how much i love older music lol

My My My - Troye Sivan (Mari's performance had issues but the beat was pretty damn catchy. Haven't heard this in a minute but I view the song positively)

Hurt Somebody - Noah Kahan (Claire's audition was okay but I still enjoy this song when it comes on shuffle)

everywhere i go i see mari haters 💔 (but tbh fair criticism… not a great song for her but i don’t like the song generally either)

also no way u called Claire’s audition only okay 😐 one of the best of her season imo !!
