Disregard whether you think the opponent deserved a steal. What were some no-steal battles you enjoyed?

 

 

Season 19: Casme vs Rio

 

Season 18: Zan vs Brittney

 

Season 17: Kat vs Josie, Alex vs Injoy, Elise vs Myracle, Jake vs Steve, Marybeth vs Dane & Stephanie

 

Season 16: Bundys vs Mikaela, Trey vs Domenic, Maelyn vs Savannah, Cecily vs Selkii (damn this season had good pre-lives)

 

Season 15: Reagan vs Emily, Jake vs Natalie

 

Season 14: Christiana vs Shana, Livia vs Terrence, Reid vs Davison

 

Season 13: Lucas vs Meagan, Brooke vs Sophia, Adam C vs Natalie

I´m not saying everyone here deserved a steal, since in several of this cases there was a clear winner, but that didn´t (and still doesn´t) stop me from enjoying this battles.

Zan vs Brittney was amazing, they’re the first that came to mind when reading the topic!

Really only including this if I thought both people deserved to pick through, not necessarily a wrong winner:

19:

Ryan Berg vs. Liam St. John - Besides the shock of Liam losing - the fact that they saved this as the final battle is gross. So many less deserving people got stolen/saved last season than Liam. 

Casme vs. Rio Souma - Another unfortunate battle that got placed in the final taping after every steal/save was used. They both did great.

 

18:

Toneisha Harris vs. Jacob Daniel Murphy - JDM wouldn't have gone far either way, but his performance proved he was worthy of a steal.

 

17:

Marybeth Byrd vs. Dane & Stephanie - Loved this. Excellent job by all. Sad there was no steal.

Alex Guthrie vs. Injoy Fountain - A lot of people have gone back and forth about who the rightful winner was here, but I think it just flat out shows that they both deserved to go through.

Myracle Holloway vs. Elise Azkoul - Both of them were so surprising here. Elise deserved to make it through another round.

 

 

15:

Kymberli Joye vs. OneUp - Phenomenal.

Jake Wells vs. Natalie Brady - Phenomenal. 

Kameron Marlowe vs. Kayley Hill - A nice surprise battle here. Would've been nice to see them go through.

 

S14:

Christiana Danielle vs. Shana Halligan - Would've loved to hear Shana again. What a unique battle.

Reid Umstattd vs. Davison - Still shocked to this day that Reid pulled this off and excelled as well as he did. Davison did solid here too.

Mia Boostrom vs. Genesis Diaz - Both deserved it.

 

S13:

Lucas Holliday vs. Meagan McNeal - What a fun battle by two one-chairs! A nice surprise that deserved a steal.

Brooke Simpson vs. Sophia Bollman - S13 Team Miley was ICONIC.

 

S12:

Johnny Gates vs. Sammie Zonana - This didn't get enough hype. A unique take on the song where both excelled.

Lilli Passero vs. Lauryn Judd - Lilli killed this but Lauryn came out of nowhere and delivered a phenomenal performance. Shame it seems this might've been one of the last ones taped.

was listening to this one and i don't think it's been mentioned yet:

- sharane vs. jamai [DANG that was crazy good ]

others:

- livia vs. terrence [wish livia got a steal! they both sounded amazing here, and it was nice to see a more toned down battle amongst the louder ones]

- christiana vs. shana [they're both very unique singers]

- casme vs. rio [wish i got to see more of rio, but casme was equally good if not better with the singing and she also brought it with the energy + stage presence]

- kymberli vs. oneup [didn't love one of the guys in oneup, but the other one was very good and the one that i didn't prefer was still solid]

- makenzie vs. audra [montage but what i heard sounded good]

- radha vs. foushee [also montage but what i heard sounded good]

- the bundys vs. mikaela [mikaela sounds great but nervous and the bundys had some INCREDIBLE harmonies]

- maelyn vs. savannah [savannah did a good job keeping up with maelyn and they honestly both sounded angelic here, though maelyn was a clear winner imo]

- presley vs. rizzi [i'm sure many thought of this as a shouting match but i loved it]

- rebecca vs. david [i loved hearing this more pop side of rebecca's voice here and she sounded pitch perfect and so so good here]

- kat vs. josie [i really liked both of them from the blinds, and i loved how weirdly their voices came together on this song]

- alex vs. injoy [injoy killed it here, and alex did pretty okay as well]

- myracle vs. elise [myracle KILLED it here and elise did some impressive stuff with her voice]

- gracee vs. brennan [i'm sure it was montaged for a reason but with these two, i can't imagine it wasn't good, and what we heard was pretty good imo]

- joanna vs. matthew [i love joanna and matthew's voices! they did well with this]

- marybeth vs. dane and stephanie [everyone did very well, but marybeth was a clear winner for me]

- mike vs. zach [really sad that they let zach go so early! he's very good and this battle was also good]

- micah vs. gigi [this was a good battle and i loved gigi's runs in it]

- madeline vs. eli [they're both good but i preferred madeline]

 

high key my standard dropped as i went down the list but i do like these all!

Season 9 had a few:

Mark Hood vs. Celeste Betton

Chris Crump vs. Krista Hughes

Viktor Kiraly vs. Cassandra Robertson

Braiden Sunshine vs. Lyndsey Elm

 

Plus some of the montages that probably would’ve been good had they been aired. I really want to know the actual S9 battle order to know if these people actually weren’t stolen, or if nobody had any steals left when they performed.

I can't believe no one mentioned this

 

Timyra Joi vs. Amber Nicole (S5)- They were like mini Beyonce vs. mini J-Hud on that battle. Timyra definitely deserved a steal, I was like so mad that time when she did not received the steal from Ceelo 

 

 

 

 

 

Sawyer Fredricks vs. Noelle Bybee (S8)- Sawyer totally deserved to win that and slayed that but Noelle held her own and I think both deserved to move forward.

 

 

 

 

Matthew Schuler vs. Jacob Poole (S5)- Matthew literally killed that performance but I thought Jacob also held his own and deserved to move forward (he's the first rocker guy I heard on The Voice, or atleast the first one I remembered that's why).

 

 

 

 

Micah Tryba vs. Andrea Thomas (S12)- I was really happy when Andrea won that but I thought that was too close that Micah deserved to move forward too.

Jesse Campbell vs Anthony Evans, AKA the battle widely credited for inspiring the steals.
