AngelaKD 584
There are the occasional standouts, but generally the Voice UK is an awful show. There’s always something just off about it.

Someone648 2,814
You can tell how long 2020's been when I completely didn't realize that this comes back on Saturday. Every season I pray for better talent and every season my low expectations aren't met either. Nonetheless, I'll be watching 1

Bk1234 6,555
Apparently, this season will be the first to have blocks in the UK blind auditions.

An interesting switch given that a few seasons back I think approximately 50% of the chair turners were purely 1-chairs. 2

Bk1234 6,555
Is there a UK version of Minivan?

You can find them also in the Facebook page (that page is a lot less popular than the USA version's one, though), where basically, they are just as trash with their comments. The only difference is that, country music in that version basically doesn't exist, so that's good thing, at least. Oh, and it's worth mentioning that they hate black soul female singers as much as USA's minivan, calling the screamers and all. And yes, i know one of them won last season, but she had to be hella pimped to win, while her opponent was basically bussed (UK's TPTB didn't even try to hide the fact that they wanted her to win, it was painfully obvious) Edited December 30, 2020 by Gustavo527

Plus there's no country mafia and there's far more racial diversity in the winners there than in the US (i.e. more British non-white winners than American ones).

Some of the commenters like to refer to the GBP (great British public) https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=The Great British Public. it’s kind of analogous to the “silent majority “ here. Basically, it’s people who fall for the sob stories and like “nice” contestants.
