I'm actually surprised to see Brynn so high imao. I thought she was IDF favorite of S14(I know there was a time when I thought Kyla was but then Team Audra corrected me). Just take a look at her Fan-Thread she has 62 fans(IMO These are equal to those of Maelyn and Sawyer).

S14 => Spensha Baker _ Pryor deserved much better.

S15 => Kennedy Holmes _ Kirk was equally inconsistent(maybe more) but I voted for Kennedy because Kirk was gonna get more votes anyway.

S16 => Andrew _ I like him but I like Gyth and Dexter even more.

These polls are a form of score settling for some people. I’m actually surprised more people haven’t nicked Chevel here. Fortunately for her, Chris and Kirk are in the poll too. 🙃 

 

As I told you before, most of the people who were active in S14 are no longer around, and there are a lot of new members. Polls during S19 are not a reflection of IDF preferences several seasons ago. Kyla was popular here, but during the season, she didn’t get as much vocal support as Desz has. Her popularity grew after the season.

Oh that makes sense. Out of those 62 fans(On Brynn's Fan-thread) I hardly recognize 6 or 7 names lol.

You're right lol. I shouldn't afraid to say what I think. If people can call Chris the worst who was imo the most consistent after Chevel, then I also have every right to call someone worst who was actually the inconsistent one. Let's screw this, it was Kennedy. I'm gonna edit my previous post.

This. Chris and Chevel were the only ones who remained consistent all the season. Kennedy and Kirk had some great shining moments but then again they had some pitchy moments as well. Both of them were almost equally inconsistent(Kirk was just a bit more). Though I chose Kennedy because I think Kirk was gonna get more votes anyway. 😅

Disclaimer: I used to be a lot more passionate about these seasons than I am in hindsight. Like, now that I look back on them, I see the merits in a lot of these contestants that I couldn't see before (except Gyth), so I didn't dislike anyone from these seasons (except Gyth).

 

Season 14: Britton Buchanan. Kyla Jade was my snowflake, Spensha was close to one, and Brynn has a very gorgeous tone that I wish I had appreciated more during her season. Britton was also really good. This was a great finale, just picked my least favorite out of a good crowd.

 

Season 15: Chris Kroeze. But I really loved his "Burning House" and thought he had a cool tone. I really liked Kennedy and Kirk, and in hindsight, Chevel was an absolutely phenomenal singer who, again, I wish I had appreciated more during her season.

 

Season 16: Gyth Rigdon, who sounded decent in his pre-taped rounds before the lives exposed how weak his voice really was. Not to mention that he has the crowned king of pandering performances ("God Bless the USA") and I refuse to reward that. One more thing - Dexter Roberts is underrated. Only God knows why he finished behind Gyth.

Because Blake has sheep-like and lemming-like housewife followers who do what he says, no questions asked.  He was backing Gyth, not Dexter, so they dutifully voted for him instead.  Had he gotten behind Dexter instead, he probably would've won.
