Kelly's team did the worst apart from Cami.

Team Kelly:

1. Cami- this was incredible! if she doesn’t get PV, she deserves CS. it would be a crime if she does not advance!
2. DeSz- though it wasn’t her best performance, i still thought it was great! i hope she can get PV, or at the very least CS. i think her and Cami deserve to advance the most!
3. Madeline- not my fav performance of hers but a queen regardless
4. Tanner- i can hear Marisa screaming from my house... for what it’s worth i did like his KO!

Team Gwen:

1. Payge- i’m in awe of this performance! i adored this arrangement, and i think she has solidified herself as one of the most creative artists on this show ever. praying she doesn’t get robbed tomorrow.
2. Joseph- do not quote this post, let me enjoy this man IN PEACE
3. Carter- Mariah is my all-time favorite singer, and i didn’t love the song for him, but i do think he did really well!
4. Ben- i think he has a really great voice, though i found this a bit boring.

Team Blake:

1. WTW- i secretly stan these ladies... WTW slander will NEVER prosper!
2. Ian- he has a really unique, special voice in my opinion! i was really surprised by how much i enjoyed this.
3. Taryn- glad she got another chance to perform! she seems so sweet, i’m definitely rooting for her!
4. Sid- he has an awesome voice! to me, he kind of blended in amongst the rest of the country/rock ish male artists tonight. i do hope he advances though!
5. Jim- i didn’t love this performance, though i have enjoyed his others! he will probably advance no matter what.

Team John:

1. Tamara- my favorite performance of hers! iconic, legendary, historic, and the haters can stay pressed!
2. Chloé- this woman has to be one of the most classy artists to ever be on this show... i mean each time she is on stage she is so beautiful and graceful. i’m so glad she’s made it this far!
3. John- i love and am in awe of his voice! i didn’t love the song for him, but I’m rooting for him nonetheless!
4. Bailey- though i have her ranked the lowest, i really liked her performance and enjoyed her voice! i think team John did best tonight.

now that Ryan is out, i think just about anyone can win this season it’s going to come down to who does best from week to week. I’d say the two main front runners are John H. and Carter!

imo i would prefer if the opinionated stuff wasn't in the polls, since that's just supposed to be people's opinion (and i know we have at least one tanner stan here). with that being said, he was my lowest ranked person LMAO... my scaling was really nice, but i was too lazy to fix it

i actually had cami only right above her. after relistening to cami's, i found that i was too harsh on her (because i had high expectations from her). i am sure that the same was the case with desz, but i'll have to relisten. i have very very high expectations for the two queens, so i guess i was harsh on them

 

with that being said, i think this was her worst performance, maybe equal with her battle

Cami had the best performance with Carter at a close second. 

Gwen is winning the season with Carter (Kelly lost almost all hope of winning tonight.) 

 

Gwen’s team did the best imo. Cami CARRIED Team Kelly, Team Blake was pretty average (Sid’s performance being criminally overrated), and Team John wasn’t great, with John H being a terrible way to close the show.

Tbh if they'd just switched Tamara and John I'd have been okay with the way Team Legend's lineup played out - that said, I pretty much agree with this assessment other than the Sid part.

He did well with his song, but my personal preference would've Tamara based just on their performances tonight. However, since she opened the team, John was my second choice after her as a Team Legend closer so I can't say I'm upset he closed.

I still love Payge though so I hope she goes through.

I expected a lot more from John after his studio.

Ideally, I would like: Cami, Madeline and DesZ; Payge and Carter; Tamara and Bailey?; Sid and Ian or Taryn

Team Blake => Sid Kingsley. DAMN! Why did TPTB have to bus Jim.

Team Kelly => Cami Clune(She was the best of TK by a large margin)

Team John => John Holiday(Same as Cami)

Team Gwen => Carter Rubin/Ben Allen(Can't decide, it really depends on my mood)

 

Overall

5- Sid Kingsley _ Not a perfect song choice for him but he still SLAYED as usual. I hope he makes it to the next round.

 

3- Carter Rubin/Ben Allen _ Both were AWESOME. Technically Carter took this one but Emotionally Ben was more into it.

 

2- John Holiday _ The start and the end was PERFECT. He hit those highs and lows like they were nothing. I really liked those little melismatic runs as well. I appreciate that since Misty he finally used his Head Voice. The part 1:41-1:53 was the only thing that wasn't GREAT(Though it was good enough). John L nailed it when he said, "John you're one of the GREATEST VOCALISTS that we've seen on this show".

 

1- Cami Clune _ OH God!!! My favorite performance from her and I really appreciate that this time she showed a bit of range as well.  I literally get chills every time when she switches from one register to another and man lows were OUTSTANDING. I've heard many powerful versions of this song(Ash Morgan's as well) but I'll say Cami puts all of them to rest with her Originality and Uniqueness. I really love that she can take any song and make it her own. Definitely one of the best my favorite  Live Playoffs performances ever PERIOD.  If she doesn't get the PV I'm taking this to supreme court seriously. 

 

NOTE: Cami and John are interchangeable. It really depends on my mood.

Well that was... something.

 

Great!

1. John Holiday (8.5/10) - I get this man isn't everyone's cup of tea and that's fine, but DAMN.

2. Tamara Jade (8.5/10) - She's a full show and thankfully vocally, her performances have been more consistent. I prefer DeSz over her overall, but Tamara was clearly the stronger one tonight.

3. Cami Clune (8.5/10) - Strongest performance from Team Kelly. Very pleased to see that she has a legitimate chance now! That, plus both country contestants flopping, gives me hope for a Cami/DeSz top 2.

 

Good Enough:

4. Chloe Hogan (8/10) - I was surprised to see that they gave Chloe the contemporary song choice for the night! She's definitely a candidate for "most improvement" this season. It wasn't a technically perfect performance, but she I found it to be one of the most enjoyable ones of the night.

5. Carter Rubin (8/10) - Again, technically great. Not his best and definitely not perfect, but he solidified his frontrunner status tonight. 

6. DeSz (8/10) - Very well done. I will say that this is her weakest performance so far, but that's often the case with playoffs.

7. Payge Turner (8/10) - Bold choice! Flips are always risky and I do think this paid off. Unfortunately the rest of Team Gwen did really well, too.

8. Ian Flanigan (8/10) - I anticipated putting Jim around here and Ian down where I placed Jim, but he gave a solid performance of an overdone song. Love the tone!

9. Ben Allen (8/10) - This was good and that's so unfair ugh. Really though, solid performance from him. I just don't need him to take Payge's spot.

10. Sid Kingsley (8/10) - For Sid, a bit disappointing. Good overall but I didn't enjoy it like I wanted to. 

11. Joseph Soul (7.5/10) - Surprisingly good imo. My mom also adored this since it's one of her favorite songs so maybe that extra 0.5 is from her lol.

 

Disappointing:

12. Worth the Wait (6.5/10) - Not stellar from the ladies. The mom in particular felt very rough. Some nice moments throughout, but I was hoping for better for them.

13. Taryn Papa (6.5/10) - This was pitchy. Like I'm genuinely trying to be fair to the country artists but so many of them were subpar tonight. Taryn was one of the ones I had some hope for (even though I was obviously expecting Ryan in her place) and it still flopped. Her freaking out over winning the 4-way was adorable though.

 

YIKES:

14. Jim Ranger (6/10) - Yikes... this was one flop I wasn't expecting. I wanted to like him, especially after last week's KO. THis was a mess through and through.

15. Madeline Consoer (6/10) - Ugh what a disappointment. I was really hoping she'd do better after her awesome KO but this was messy. Some good moments, sure. But those good moments fell into the background of all the iffy ones. 

16. Bailey Rae (4/10) - I don't recall another contestant showing so much disdain for their own voice mid-performance. So much for John carrying a country contestant to the finale?

17. Tanner Gomes (2/10) - It's one thing to not like country, it's another thing to rob another contestant of their spot, it's another thing to be absolutely, devastatingly, inexcusably awful. What a mess.

Also these are my exact predictions, but it's a toss-up between Sid and Ben for me. Sid has the more popular coach, but it seems like Ben is more popular as a contestant.
