Even just the way she came down on Kaitlyn then vs the way she has sugarcoated some of her comments to male celebrities has been a little off putting for me tonight. But I can’t say I’m surprised.

Her comments last night towards the female celebs vs. the male celebs reminded me so much of Shirley over on SCD last year criticizing the female celebs while praising the likes of Mike Bushell for doing the bare minimum. It felt more like a personal attack than constructive criticism.

I really think the issue of the judging panel needs to be addressed some more. Bringing Derek in was a step in the right direction because he actually offers helpful advice and critiques without making it feel like a personal attack, but CAI really needs to go.

The fact that I of all people think Derek has been the best judge so far this season says it all.

Agreed! I can't remember who she made the comment about last night, probably Vernon, but she made some critique and then almost back-pedalled on it like "it's okay though!" as if she was afraid to critique. It was a stark contrast from the way she spoke to Kaitlyn.

The thing is, on the surface I actually did kinda agree with Carrie Ann and the point she was going to make. I think technically Kaitlyn is dancing almost flawlessly, but could improve even more on her performance. It's just the way she words it... it's disappointing the amount of female celebrities we've seen who get really disheartened by the feedback because it doesn't feel constructive. I'm really hoping it doesn't continue too much to the point where Kaitlyn gets down on herself.

While praising David Ross for showing up and making it through both of his dances on the same night. 🙂

I can only assume it’s because they thought he wouldn’t get through his dances since we couldn’t get through them.

Agreed. It's such a lack of consistency from her and that can definitely bug. Either be critical of everyone equally,  or sugarcoat it and be nice about it to everyone.

Never forget the time they criticized Simone for not smiling 🙂

And not to mention, for a dance aka the Paso Doble, which you are NOT supposed to smile in. 😐 So Simone was doing what she was supposed to do. (In fact, she could have been even angrier in that dance).

Skai posted a rehearsal of her Cha Cha and what it looked like without the mistakes.

That would've easily been an 8 or 9 dance.

Aww that was really good there. It's a shame what happened on the live show. :( :broken:

OMG I KNEW Doja Cat would be used for a cha-cha! 😛

Lmaoo same. I am surprised that that song wasn't used sooner. :haha:

Thank god Johnny and Britt didn't leave

I think all the Skai fans thought she'd B2, so they voted for her like crazy which put Johnny there

Agreed.

In hind sight, this definitely makes sense. The low scores and her big social media following (via Instagram followers & Youtube views) did likely drive her fanbase to vote through strong for her. I def voted for her a lot this past week. :haha:
