Congrats to everyone on getting +50 points this week. We are NOT Flops. But wow this week, features a lot of changes - and especially crazy how Ariel went from last to 1st and Elliott 1st to last.  

 

That’s just part 1 of the stats. Part 2 with the pre-season predictions alongside the overall stats will be posted and calculated later on. This could be where everything changes.   But I can't wait to see how we all really did on that!

Notes:

- Well it’s been a long and very fun game, but after 12 sets of various predictions throughout the game, our 2020 Season 29 Best Prediction winner goes out to….. Lily! Lily has been dominating this game with  multiple weeks at #1. Even though she lost a little beat of her domination run towards the end, and nearly lost her #1 spot, she always maintained it and held onto it all season long. She closes her run out with an impressive 494 points! I am too cheap too award prizes, but your prize…. is bragging rights of being the best predictor of this game. Congrats again, Lily!

 

- Now the person that gave Lily a serious run for her money, coming in 2nd just FOUR points behind with 490 points, is Chris! Chris started off well in an under-the-radar not a threat kind of way. But his constant saying of saying he flopped this week must have been a ploy to throw us off, as he started really slaying his predictions. He had a few multiple weeks at #1. This was a crucial week where i thought he could have pulled an ultimat upset, as he was just 9 points behind Lily last week but with this week’s stats, he wound up being only 4 points behind. Still an impressive run!

 

- Coming in 3rd playing a very strong game, is Amanda with 472 points. She had a few times at being #1 (or maybe it was once?) but had many moments of landing in the Top 3. While none of us did really amazing with our pre-season predictions, Amanda definitely did the best with +17.

 

- I wind up coming in 4th place with 462 points, and thank goodness this game ends now because I am certain i would have plummeted even further. I started off really strong and was Lily’s biggest competition early on landing in 2nd for awhile. But then my last few weeks have been a REAL HOT MESS, which made me drop and have Chris & Amanda beat me out. I shall redeem myself next year.

 

- Rei comes in at 5th with a great 451 points. Rei always made it vocal that he wanted to do well and better each week, and i certainly think he achieved that. He especially had some impressive weeks towards the end of the game.

 

- Ariel definitely had a roller coaster run in this game, where she would earn some #1 rankings in the week as well as some last places and everywhere in between. She had an impressive week this week - topping the Finale predictions form and coming in 2nd on the pre-season placements with +15. This has her finish at 6th with 443 points.

 

- Matt comes in at 7th with 439 points, just four points shy of 6th. Matt played a pretty solid game throughout.

 

- Elliott comes in at 8th with 429 points. Elliott was our annual last placer on the Season 28 game, so he certainly made improvement this time around including earning the #1 spot on the Week 10 predictions.

 

- Alex and Gigi have been flip flopping towards the end season, with Alex coming in at 9th with 415 points and Gigi at 10th with 412 points. Alex did have the stronger week this week.

 

- ungodlyhour was sadly going to be last with only 4 weeks of predictions but still managed to do well earning 180 points in those weeks. Thats certainly more than what all of us got in our opening 4 weeks in this game!

 

And to close this out, I want to thank everyone for participating and predicting in this game. It’s A LOT of work for me to compile and calculate but you all make it so fun with the joy and dedication you all have while participating in the game, which makes me want to run this. So I appreciate you alll sooo very much! I hope we can do this again next season.

Oooh wow yeah, that could have made all the difference. I think if you had two of the correct guesses, you could have won it all.  But you did such an amazing job regardless!

 

And looking back at the stats, you started off at 9th (2nd to last, just +1 above Elliott) on the first week. So you def made the biggest improvement throughout!
