Note: It appears that the departure of John Marks, the former head of Spotify's Country Division (and Scotty supporter), has had a big time impact on Scotty's streaming #s -- and not in a good way. BL, there's simply no excuse for the huge disparity between Scotty's streaming numbers at Spotify (3.3M) and his streaming numbers at Pandora/Sirius (15M)! 

Reminder:  It's all about streaming and Spotify is the largest streamer in music with a consistent 32% share of the market.  The other 68% (Apple, Amazon et al) don't publicly post their artist-specific numbers; fortunately, Pandora does (via a subscription service). And even though Pandora streams don't count for RIAA purposes, they can provide us with a  'window' into what's happening behind the  'Apple/Amazon/Other' curtain.

Note: It appears that the departure of John Marks, the former head of Spotify's Country Division (and Scotty supporter), has had a big time impact on Scotty's streaming #s -- and not in a good way. BL, there's simply no excuse for the huge disparity between Scotty's streaming numbers at Spotify (3.3M) and his streaming numbers at Pandora/Sirius (15M)!

Note: It appears that the departure of John Marks, the former head of Spotify's Country Division (and Scotty supporter), has had a big time impact on Scotty's streaming #s -- and not in a good way. BL, there's simply no excuse for the huge disparity between Scotty's streaming numbers at Spotify (3.3M) and his streaming numbers at Pandora/Sirius (15M)! 

Reminder:  It's all about streaming and Spotify is the largest streamer in music with a consistent 32% share of the market.  The other 68% (Apple, Amazon et al) don't publicly post their artist-specific numbers; fortunately, Pandora does (via a subscription service). BL, there's simply no excuse for the huge disparity between Scotty's streaming numbers at Spotify (3.3M) and his streaming numbers at Pandora/Sirius (15M)!

Note: It appears that the departure of John Marks, the former head of Spotify's Country Division (and Scotty supporter), has had a big time impact on Scotty's streaming #s -- and not in a good way. BL, there's simply no excuse for the huge disparity between Scotty's streaming numbers at Spotify (3.6M) and his streaming numbers at Pandora/Sirius (17M)! 

Reminder:  It's all about streaming and Spotify is the largest streamer in music with a consistent 32% share of the market.  The other 68% (Apple, Amazon et al) don't publicly post their artist-specific numbers; fortunately, Pandora does (via a subscription service). Note: It appears that the departure of John Marks, the former head of Spotify's Country Division (and Scotty supporter), has had a big time impact on Scotty's streaming #s -- and not in a good way. BL, there's simply no excuse for the huge disparity between Scotty's streaming numbers at Spotify (3.6M) and his streaming numbers at Pandora/Sirius (17M)!
