I would say (from the recent seasons...) Kennedy Holmes, Brynn Cartelli, Maelyn Jarmon, Rose Short/Katie Kadan, and Thunderstorm Artis.

As AngelaKD pointed out, it's Jordan Smith 100%.

Ā

He got the "shock factor" we-can't-see-the-artist-before-a-chair-turnsĀ treatment for his blind audition, was in the premiere of all three pre-taped rounds, opened the battles and closed his episode of the KOs, got the playoffs pimp slot in his team's episode and got it again in the semifinals, didn't sing before the start of hour two in any live round before the finale, and got the second-to-last slot in the top 12 and in the finale.

Wow he was hella pimped. Thunderstorm closed auditions and battles, the producers edited out his KO fumble, he had amazing performance slots and closed the finale as well.

Cedrice Webber closed auditions, battles, knockouts, Kelly's team playoff, heavily featured in promos, and had an amazing production (set) for her T17 performance.

Yep, thatĀ“s pretty much it, and he didnĀ“t even need the pimping honestly. He would have stil won.

Not to mention the...manufactured reactions to his performances.

Great singer..but was so hyped I ended up not liking him.Ā

Jordanā€™s Ā biggest pimping wasnā€™t how he was placed within the show. It was that the S9 promotion was centered around him. There were actual Voice promos that featured him, not the coaches!!

Jordan Smith. Heā€™s the only artist whose album was advertised on the show.

Sawyer Frederick performed ā€œFour Pocketsā€ during season 9 and Carson talked about his EP.Ā

The previous winnersĀ usually perform at some point during the following season ifĀ they have material ready. The label may be partly to blame if the donā€™t or there may be extenuating circumstances.Ā

I suspect Jordan having a full album ready by Season 10 made it more appealing to the show for promotion.Ā

Iā€™m not talking about a performance slot. Iā€™m talking about a literal commercial for the album.

Ā

Exactly.Ā  He could have won organically but for no good reason they served us industrial strength goo instead.Ā

Didn't Cassadee get a commercial for hers way back when, or am I misremembering that being a thing?

I donā€™t remember such a thing. I donā€™t remember an ad for her album at all, in any medium, except possibly a print ad in Country Aircheck.

I'm just going off the Wikipedia page for Season 5 but apparently during their "best of the blinds" episode they showed a clip of one of her music videos to promote the album; I didn't watch Season 5 in real time so I don't know if that happened and the Wikipedia article says that needs a citation anyway, but even so if it did happen that's still not a whole commercial dedicated to a Voice alumni artist.

I remember her appearing on the show A few years ago about the time of her grammy nomination. The show also made a youtube promo for it.Ā

Ā

Again, I wasnā€™t referring to an appearance on the show. Many alums have come back to the show to promote their music. This segment was filmed when Cassadee. cameĀ back as an advisor for Blake. The song Cassadee was Grammy nommed for wasnā€™t even on her own album anyway.Ā
Ā

I was referring to the show airing a paidĀ advertisement for the album that aired during one of the commercial breaks. It wasnā€™t officially part of the episode.

*Gasp*Ā  But wasn't he on . . .Ā hisĀ team?Ā  I thought you likedĀ everyoneĀ onĀ his team!

Other than Jordan the most pimped artists are

2- Chris Blue

3- Kennedy Holmes

4- Alison Porter

5- Sawyer Fredericks

I feel like they pimped Chris (season 12 winner)Ā because Lauren was on Team Blake and Blake just won Season 11. Honestly I would have liked to see Hunter Plake in the finale...and Chris Blue (while I respect him and he is a great singer) was kind of overrated and overdid songs. Lauren deserved the W
