With the cast this size, are we going to get some double eliminations?  If so I would rather them be sooner rather then later.

Yes! Not this upcoming week, but there will be one on November 2nd, going from 9 to 7.

I feel like there has to be a 2nd one to get us to 4 couples by the finale.

Forgot to post this earlier in the week, the Vernon & Peta interview on GMA. (I need to get better on post in these lmao).

Peta is rooting for Justina & Sasha and Nev & Jenna. Vernon is rooting for Nelly & Daniella and Jeannie & Brandon.

So Peta is rooting for her brother-in-law's wife but not her brother-in-law? 🤣

My guess is

9 to 7

7 to 6

6 to 4

Top 4 Finale

Even though they could've just gone 15 to 13 to 11, but whatever, ABC.

That's what I would predict too.

The show’s cold open will be a sketch aimed at encouraging people to vote as part of a nonpartisan initiative. Later, Tyra Banks will walk out to “Treasure” by Bruno Mars. In addition, for the first time this season, Relay Dances will find our couples split into three groups, dancing either a Cha Cha, Samba or Viennese Waltz relay. Each group will dance to a different song and the couples will take turns, one couple dancing at a time. One judge will rank the couples within each relay group and give bonus points depending on those rankings. These points will be combined with the individual scores and live voting to determine who is up for elimination.

Vying for America’s vote, each couple will dance to a variety of songs including “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen, “Shout” by The Isley Brothers, “Stuck with U” by Ariana Grande & Justin Bieber and “Hound Dog” by Elvis Presley, among others.

The couples (with their dance choice and song) are as follows:
·       Kaitlyn Bristowe (“The Bachelor,” “The Bachelorette”) and pro Artem Chigvintsev dancing Jive to “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen
·       Disney Channel actress Skai Jackson and pro Alan Bersten dancing the Salsa to “Work It” by Missy Elliott
·       Actress Justina Machado (“One Day at a Time”) and pro Sasha Farber dancing the Samba to “Magalenha” by Sergio Mendes
·       Backstreet Boys singer AJ McLean and pro Cheryl Burke dancing the Rumba to “Way Down We Go” by KALEO
·       Emmy® Award-winning host of “The Real” and sideline correspondent on “Holey Moley,” Jeannie Mai, and pro Brandon Armstrong dancing the Charleston to “Shout” by The Isley Brothers
·       GRAMMY®-winning rapper Nelly and pro Daniella Karagach dancing the Rumba to “Nobody Knows” by The Tony Rich Project
·       TV host Nev Schulman (“Catfish”) and pro Jenna Johnson dancing Viennese Waltz to “Stuck with U” by Ariana Grande & Justin Bieber
·       Actress Chrishell Stause (“Selling Sunset”) and pro Gleb Savchenko dancing Viennese Waltz to “Hound Dog” by Elvis Presley
·       Olympic figure skater and on-air commentator Johnny Weir and pro Britt Stewart dancing the Foxtrot to “Wonder” by Shawn Mendes

THIS SHOW sometimes! 🙂 :dead: They need a much better way at explaining themselves with how the show is being  done. :lmao:I made everyone do new predictions for nothing. I apologize, you all. 🤣

LMAOO Now a Viennese Waltz to “Hound Dog” makes no dang sense.

:dead: I’m gonna assume they meant that Chrishell has the Jive to that song.

- Love that Skai has a Salsa to “Work It.” SUCH a jam. Although I will always be worried for her Latin dances.

- Great song choice for Justina’s Samba. Can see her really slaying that style.

- Battle of the male Rumbas with AJ vs. Nelly there. Really love Nelly’s song there. Don’t get AJ’s song for the style but I am intrigued.

- Love Kaitlyn’s, Jeanine’s, Nev’s songs for their respective styles.

- Didn’t picture a Foxtrot to Johnny’s song there but looking forward to it.

I’m guessing this will end up being a Jive seeing as the press releases are usually messy and Chrishell’s danced a Waltz, but also the thought of a Viennese Waltz to Hound Dog is sending me

Oooh I love Nelly’s song and have been wanting that as a Rumba for years

 Idk how he’ll do with that style but I do feel like he’s been surprising me a lot so I hope he does well there.

Justina is going to slay that Samba I just know it!

thanks!

very strange how they gave kaitlyn and skai 3 latin dances in a row but i'll hold off on my criticizing the production team for now. my fav songs for this week are definitely skai's and aj's (although his doesn't make too much sense for his style). i think we'll see 10s for justina next week for sure! everyone else... could go many different ways. i wonder how they'll decide which couples go in which relay groups too. many unanswered questions! andrew linares hate thread
