*Chris
Super excited for this, as there's so many queens that I've been following on instagram or saw performed live before - so happy to see Priyanka, Lemon, Rita Baga, Scarlett Bobo, and Tynomi Banks on the show Looking forward to everyone - it looks promising. Will be ranking the queens on first impression, later on. Also Man! I fee like a woman in the promo
Elliott
I’m surprised Crave is starting this so early. I figured they’d want to wait until AS5 finished airing since there aren’t any seasons finished other than these two.

I think this was always the case with them wanting to reveal the cast during Toronto Pride. I wish there was more queens from Montreal or Vancouver beside Toronto, but its the first season so i think some of the Canadian queens probably didn't feel like they were ready yet or the production lack of funds to fly in people from all across the country

*Lily
Oh, exciting! I kinda forgot about this with everything else going on but I'll have to check out. Just from watching the MTQ, my early standouts were Tynomi, Lemon and Priyanka (and now seeing that @*Chris has praised all three of them that makes me hopeful!) Tynomi is flawless - she’s one of the hardest Working queen on the scene, I expect her to be a front runner. She has achieved a lot already and wouldn’t be surprise that she didn’t even need to audition for it. Lemon is good too - she’s actually currently living in NYC so I love that she chose the Canadians version instead of the American one. Priyanka kills it on the Toronto scene - everyone loves her. Was one of the queen I pegged to appear on it so I’m excited what she will bring. Edited May 15, 2020 by *Chris
Deeee
Very excited for more drag! Scarlett BoBo and Jimbo both seem very interesting and I look forward to seeing their art. Tynomi Banks and Lemon seem like early frontrunners. Both very polished.
*Chris
Here's my pre-season ranking, after watching their short MTQ video; Tynomi Banks - just crown her, already. This queen has done it all from being featured on spotify to handing out trophys at the Canadian Screen Award. Lemon - easily one of my pre-season fave, super flawless and her NYC roots can be a plus for her in the competition. Priyanka - absolutely love Priyanka; she's an incredible performer and I want her to do well. Rita Baga - Rooting for this french-canadian queen; one of the main queen from Montreal's drag scene where she constantly kill it; her voice as a french-canadian queer on this stage could be powerful. Ilona Verley - Out of the queens that I do not follow or know about, they're the one I am the most excited about. Looking forward for the world to learn more about two-spirit indigenous, and love their look in the promo. Scarlett Bobo - I've been following her for a while on Instagram and I love her - hope she can bring it! Kyne - Love Kyne! I am intrigued how she will do as a she is more of a digital queen. Juice Boxx - love the look so I am curious to see more from her. Anastarzia Anaquqay: Very polished, a pageant queen - she doesn't stand out compete to the other queens. But she obviously has too of potential, considering her title of Miss Black Continental. Jimbo: I love that she is out there, and I am intrigued by her. But prefer other queens more. BOA: Doesn't stand out compare to the other queens - just there for me, for now. Love the outfit for MTQ though. Kiara: Doesn't do anything for me - just kinda there. Overall, based on a first impression, I am excited for this to start - lots of potential, and lots of them know each other so it'll be interesting. It will also be interesting to see how Brooke interacts with them considering she definitely know some of them, as well. And last but not least, really please of the diversity of this cast - it really shows what Canada has to offer. *Chris
I'm not sure if this video will work for people outside of Canada, but here's a quick video about Tynomi Banks when she was featured on this webseries called "Canada's a Drag":
*Chris
I'm going down a Canada's Drag Race rabbit hole while at work. And found this video of Juice, Tynomi & Priyanka - looking forward to seeing their dynamic on the show as this was post-filming of CDR. sublymonal
Priyanka is the only one I knew of before the show, but after looking through all their socials, I think Lemon and Tynomi will also be among my favourites.
