Blake: taking Nic Hawk over Holly Henry

Gwen: taking Braiden Sunshine over his battle and KO opponent

Shakira: eliminating Clarissa Serna

Kelly: eliminating Brennan Lassiter

About Gwen, I agree about Braiden over Lyndsey is one of her dumbest decisions, but he was actually decent in the KO and Ellie was bussed
About Shakira, I have to agree here.
About Kelly, it's hard to tell because the battle between Brennan and Gracee was montaged.
About Blake, I have to say I'd hard disagree on that one. Nic Hawk was great in his KO performance, but on the other hand, Holly Henry... :(

Isn’t it a fairly open secret that Holly was cut because of her stage fright/anxiety, not because she was the poorer performer?

still don’t buy dropping Addison as a huge mistake. I preferred Addison in the battle but Karli was great too.

Chloe was miles stronger than Ashland, though imo. So I can see why people cite that as Miley’s biggest mistake.

I think aside of Usher and Christina (minus S3...) all of them have made SO many mistakes, so I'll refrain from bringing up ones like "Adam picking Damien over Toia", even if we know Toia won that round, Damien did make finale and I don't think she would've, so there's not much to argue about when it comes to those cases.

Adam: letting Amber do Firework in S4, trying to force Deanna Johnson into becoming a gospel act in S8, and last but not least, in S6, both letting Grimmie go along with the vocoder idea for Hide & Seek, which could've been a huge moment and maybe increased her chances of winning, but also dropping the eventual winner in Josh (although I really didn't see Josh winning before Stay With Me happened, so maybe he didn't either).

Blake: I'm not a fan of any of his decisions in general, but I'd say he dropped the ball hardcore with Zach Seabaugh after the BOOM that was his POs, somehow managed to not make a finalist out of Corey Kent White (s2g, he was an easy finalist), and stripped Lauren Duski off most of what made her special.

Christina: as said before, she didn't know how to work with Matthew in later rounds, but I think it's worth mentioning his vocals had started to worsen then too, so I'll say letting Kimberly go through with Free Fallin' and not being able to tell India to hold back on the runs and the theatricals, which only happened when Gwen was a guest advisor - also, nothing will convince me she didn't have enough power to say no to Nick Hagelin coming back on her team, but probably underestimated America and thought he wouldn't make it anyway.

Shakira: like everything, Sasha's and Kristen's runs were a joke aside of one performance (which I believe came from them), she completely dropped the ball with Tess Boyer, who couldn't risk much because she had a montaged BA, and pairing Clarissa and Jeremy Briggs in round 1 of battles was absurd when they were her strongest ones, only for her to drop Clarissa next.

Usher: giving Bria 'I'm With You' but she ended herself too, so idk, I think he's an one-contestant coach, but hasn't necessarily made many mistakes.

Camila: Eliminating Sydney Kronmiller, Jaeden Luke, Reina Ley, and Kate Kalvach all for the underwhelming, woefully undeserving Eric Who.

We didn't even see .01 second  of neither Jaeden or Reina's knockout so we don't know if Erics win was deserved or not but ok

Kelly: letting Jershika go and eliminating Rizzi

I don't think letting Jershika go is a dumb decision. I thought Kelly successfully pulled a Pharrell in this case. Jeremy was excellent too, but I don't think he would be stolen if he lost. Kelly was sure Jershika's gonna get stolen.

Eh.  Doesn't matter.  They would've been much more Minivan-appealing than Eric turned out to be.

Does it matter? Jaeden, Kate, and Sydney wouldn't have made it past the Top 13 either. Reina is kind of debatable but we wouldn't know if she deserved it because we didn't hear her KO. Plus, I don't see Reina making it over Kique and Rowan either.

I agree with this. But Eric is very talented, and I’m a bit confused by your comments calling him undeserving.

Because he kept getting through on his theatrics, NOT his voice.  He'd have been utterly delightful had this been X-Factor, which judges on those in addition to the voice.  But on a show where the voice counts almost entirely . . . Camila kept putting him through for all the wrong reasons.

Duh.

Nah I think his voice is both good and also distinct. And having a good voice isn’t just about range or power. Sometimes, it’s just about having that extra something that sets you apart, and Eric has that.

if Jershika had been on team kelly we would’ve had smth like

GNT

hailey

Jershika

Gymani

Katie Rae

and i would guess gnt and hailey would get PVs, leaving one of Gymani or Jershika in the instant save. they might both make it through but it’s not guaranteed.

Well, given his finish . . . the voters certainly didn't agree, so . . .

You mentioned Kate as an example, where was her appeal in that Instant Save 🤷‍♂️

This isn't a dig against Kate, I just think you're taking "Minivan vote potential" way too seriously. You clearly just dislike Eric lmfao

John picking Shadale over Samuel.

Shadale was clear fodder and Samuel would have probably made the semis. Only reason he didn’t get pv is cause of his bad song

Maybe Samuel could have made the Top 10, but he would have lost the IS to Jerishka.

Well yeah but Minivan wouldn’t have gravitated towards Eric Who either way. I’m not even the biggest fan pf him on this forum, but he has that “it” factor.

Who are these “many others”?
