I forgot that the reason why I thought Makayla would get through instead of Kimmy was because Kimmy was forgettable. Makayla probably got in thanks to being on AGT, as you guessed. If Grace made the Top 10 based on viewers voting, she might make the Top 5. I’m pretty sure that Just Sam made the Top 10 based on popular vote and will make the Top 5. Other than those two, yeah, the girls are probably toast. Especially Julia, if she’s the one that made it in by the judges’s save. I looked at the lyrics and they seem inspiring enough for her to have a home run with or at least get to third base. Also, I don’t think that it’s an overdone song, at least not on this show. Who the 14th spot would go to I'd have to guess would probably Franklin Curious, are these contestants cut before the Top 10 allowed to reaudition? It's kind of a murky area because this is the first live semifinals ABC-era American Idol has done, and the past semi-finalists have been able to come back (Layla and Alyssa) but those were not live. I’d assume it’s still the same here, even if we technically voted earlier this year. I know the last few seasons of Fox had the cut-off changed to allow semi-finalists to return, even if none of them were ever shown much in a subsequent season.
