It will premiere on September 21st for a 10 week ALL-STAR season of some of your past favourites. Let's meet our returning all-stars: Men: • Bobby Bones • D.L. Hughley • Joe Amabile • Master P • Michael Waltrip • Sean Spicer Women: • Bristol Palin • Charo • Kate Gosselin • Lolo Jones • Mischa Barton • Wendy Williams There has been a mass exodus of pros, we would like to give our SINCERE thanks to Alan, Brandon, Cheryl, Daniella, Emma, Keo, Lindsay, Pasha, Sasha and Witney for their services as pros. Staying are Gleb, the FABULOUS Chmerkovskiy trio of Peta, Val, Jenna alongside the return of Maks, Sharna and Allison Holker. Joining them are former SCD pros and kings/queens of diplomacy AJ Pritchard (who quit last week), Aliona Vilani (2-time champion and 2-time first eliminated), James Jordan. From DALS France, we have Season 4 champion Grégoire Lyonnet (who aside from winning, quit being a pro during the middle of Season 5 leaving his celeb with another pro) and Jazz dancer Inès Vandamme who is adamant that has NEVER, ever recycled any DWTS themes or choreo for her routines... The partnerships are as follows: • Bobby Bones & Sharna (reunited!) • Bristol Palin & Peta (same-sex female pairing!) • Charo & AJ Pritchard (former SCD pro) • D.L. Hughley & Inès Vandamme (DALS pro) • Joe Amabile & Jenna (also reunited!) • Kate Gosselin & Maks • Lolo Jones & Val • Master P & Allison (frantic, flailing arms Viennese Waltzes here we come!) • Michael Waltrip & Aliona Vilani (from SCD) • Mischa Barton & James Jordan (former SCD pro) - #TeamEngland!! • Sean Spicer & Gleb (same-sex male pairing!) • Wendy Williams & Grégoire Lyonnet (former DALS France pro) Judging panel has been totally revamped, with Season 26 champion Adam Rippon acting as head judge. He will be judging alongside Michelle Obama and Yoko Ono. One thing that hasn't changed is that Tom will once again be hosting. I wonder what tweets he'll put out before this season begins. I love that the Republicans are not only in same-sex partnerships but also with the pros who frequently give overtly-sexy choreography and gimmicks. I love Aliona but omg poor and horrible dancer Michael would NOT survive with her. I don't know who in the Master P & Allison partnership would annoy me more with their below-the-bare-minimum Latin and ballroom dancing and don't forget the invisible fish hooks pulling Allison's face in a million directions. Oh dear lord, another three months with Man-Child & Sh**na's combined egos and tweeting/whining/trash-talking about their competition instead of actually rehearsing their dances? How long before Alizee gets jealous of Gregoire dancing with another woman or Wendy annoys Gregoire enough that he leaves? If Artem was visibly frustrated with Mischa, imagine James with her Kate Gosselin & Maks, thank goodness we dodged that bullet in Season 10, Erin Andrews said in her first meeting with Maks that she asked for Tony! No idea which one would be the messiest, probably the ones where the celebs and pros hate each other in equal measure - somehow I think that either Kate & Maks will end up in a morgue if they were paired together. Probably Kate as I imagine that her passive aggressiveness and sulking would drive Maks over the edge in 5 minutes. Mischa & James possibly similar given that he really struggled to keep his temper with Georgina Bouzova way back in Series 4 of SCD, their rehearsals were very fiery. Gleb said he was open to a same-sex partnership so why not see how his style of choreo would fit Sean Spicer? I'm sure that Man-Child and Sharna would love to be in this lineup, they might actually not be the most insufferable for a change - I actually like Sharna unlike most on here, she's capable of great things with likeable partners and bringing out the best in them (especially the seasons with Andy, Noah & James) but she is a bit of an enabler when she gets a difficult partner.
