-Thunderstorm Artis - I loved his tone completely, and everything about him.
-Allegra Miles - Same as Thunderstorm, She has a very warm tone and the song helped her.
-Samantha Howell - Although nerves may have played against her a little, as I could hear them in some notes, she has a lot of potential and could go all the way to the final. Beautiful tone too.
-Samuel Wilco - Very nice voice:)
-CammWess - Good runs, but nothing that's blown my mind.. Not bad, though.
-Sara Collins - She can sing good high notes, but it's true she's was little off-key.
-Joei Fulco - She has a good tone, but the song didn't help her much.
-Jamal Corrie - Battle fodder

I actually really liked tonight. While I don't necessarily think most of them are my type of artists I listen to, I enjoyed what I heard.

08. Jamal Corrie

07. Samantha Howell

06. Sara Collins

05. CammWess

04. Joei Fulco - I don't know why but I dig her tone a lot.

03. Allegra Miles - Brynn comparisons are apt, but I think she has a clearer idea of who she is as an artist.

02. Samuel Wilco - I'm a sucker for old-school R&B voices like this.

01. Thunderstorm Artis - reminds me of old-school Voice. Very talented and unassuming.

1. Thunderstorm Artis (9.5/10) - Easily the strongest audition of the season so far. Should be interesting to see how far he goes. That final note was beautifully executed and left me wanting more.

2. Samuel Wilco (9/10) - This was the surprise of the night for me! He's got a voice that deserves to go far. I don't have any real complaints here.

3. Allegra Miles (8.5/10) - Great job overall, but her enunciation needs a ton of work. An interesting performer and I hope she goes far.

4. Joei Fulco (8/10) - I was a bit more critical of this watching it as it aired, but her tone is actually very lovely. Bonus points for the song - I didn't ever expect to hear this song on here but some Cher never hurt anyone, did it? Hope she goes pretty far.

5. Samantha Howell (8/10) - I liked some parts better than others, but it was a consistent performance.

6. Sara Collins (7.5/10) - Beautiful high notes, but inconsistent throughout. I heard a weaker version of Miley Cyrus in her.

7. CammWess (7/10) - I liked this better watching it on air than on the re-listen on Youtube. So many of the runs were unnecessary and it just became a bit irritating towards the end. Hope John helps him control it better.

8. Jamal Corrie (6/10) - I wanted to like him a lot because I'd seen some of his street performances on Youtube before the season began, but he was nervous and had a weird song, in my opinion. It wasn't the best first impression but I'd love to see him prove people wrong.

Hawk McIntyre (4.5/10) - As far as bad performances go, I don't think this was dreadful or anything. It just never went anywhere. I think his voice is super close and if he'd chosen a different song, he could've been a chair turner.

Clerida (3/10) - The performance sadly just never came together. The cello was lovely but the song was all wrong for that. I must say though, I love her tone. Hope she considers coming back.

Ruby G (2/10) - A song I've been dying to have performed on the show, but this was tragic.

1. Thunderstorm - Top 10 BA ever for me

2.  Samantha - Great voice.  Who knew?

3.  Allegra - Interesting

4.  Samuel - Pleasant surprise.  Very easy to listen to.

5.  Joei - I like her voice...did not like the song

6.  Sara - Pretty average overall

7.  Cammwess - This was a no-chair for me.

8.  Jamal - Instant battle round fodder

Thought Ruby G. was the best of the no chairs.

  1. Samantha Howell-She gets major points for covering REO, and her voice is awesome. Great tone too.

  1. Sara Collins “Jonny & June” -She’s really good. I enjoyed this performance a lot.

  1. Jamal Corrie “Be Alright”-This is pretty good. Better than I expected from this seasons token “Pretty Boy”. It’s nice and enjoyable.

  1. Thunderstorm Artis-I like his voice, like a male Kiara.

  1. CamWess “Earned It”-Good voice, but I’m sick of this song.

  1. Samuel Wilco “Lately”-This was decent. Not the best song choice for the auditions. I love Stevie Wonder but there’s better songs than this of his to cover.

  1. Joei Fulco “Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves”- Now this is a contestant I’ll forgive coaches for fawning over her age. She’s only 22, but her voice sounds so mature. She’s really good. The only reason this isn’t higher is due to my genre preference.

  1. Allegra Miles-Yeah she sounds  like Brynn Cartelli, with a mix of Kyndal Inskeep. I’m wondering why IDF isn’t fawning over her yet, even though she seems like the typical IDF it gurl. Is it...because she isn’t blonde? Anyways, she has a great voice, but it’s not my favorite tone (which is of course subjective.)

No chairs

  1. Cellist Clerida-Ok, I don’t get why no coaches turned for her. She’s special and her voice is magical. She’s a musician, and a singer. A natural artist. She deserved at least three chairs tbh. Hopefully she comes back next season and coaches make the right decision and turn for her.
  2. Ruby G-Another singer who deserves to advance. She sounded great.
  3. Hawk McIntyre-He was good as well, but the coaches not turning for him is more excusable than the above two, due to the fact there’s a considerable number of artists that are already on the teams and have a similar lane of music to him. He did good though.

Overall Feedback: Good show. Maybe a few forgettable song choices, but a good show overall. Speaking of song choices, most of the contestants(both chair turns and non chair turns throughout all blinds not just this one) have quite good taste in song choices (whether it fits them or not is a separate story, but for the most part they do), compared to the last several seasons.

I'm going to watch it a 2nd time... I think there were 1 or 2 more, but, for the moment I'm going with Joei & Samantha.  I'll dbl check, refresh my memory... I thought there was another, at least, who caught my attention.  I'll amend, if needed...
