Late but Rock M Sakura going is tragic.  She was one of the most rootable and I wanted to see a growth arc from her a lot. The fact that Brita (and a few others) are still here over her is tragic. Her last look was a bit OTT but not nearly as bad as Michelle made it out to be.

Ugh. I know who went home so I'll be watching this later with a sad face. I'm gonna be annoyed if she actually didn't do the worst and got eliminated.

This week was actually really good. I loved the acting challenge and it made me laugh quite a few times.

 

Ranking in the acting challenge:

1. Voldemort (sadly, she did really well and I can't deny the fact)

2. Widow - Widow could've won to be honest. 

3. Jackie - The problem Jackie has is that whenever she slays a challenge, someone just slays it a tad more than her. Not her fault.

4. Heidi - She did great.

5. Jan - Slayed her part but like Jackie, she gets outshone by others whenever she slays. 

6. Gigi - She seemed to be in most scenes without lines but she still slayed. When Jan threw her away I died.

7. Aiden - I actually died at her Mae West impression and made me laugh.

8. Dahlia - Omg her coming back as Broccoli had me DEAD

9. Crystal - Did okay but was not memorable unlike Heidi.

10. Nicky - She tried. She really did. She didn't do bad but I guess it wasn't enough or it was too_little_too_late.m4a

11. Jaida - I'm sorry but she did not make me laugh AT ALL. She deserved to lipsync.

12. Brita - Aiden overshadowed her so bad and she didn't even make me laugh even with Aiden there. She said she carried Aiden through the scenes? I'VE GOT TO LAUGH.

 

Runway ranking:

1. Jackie - Okay Miss Jasmine! Serve me some A Whole New World and Speechless performance! 

2. Jaida - loved this outfit from her.

3. Aiden - this wig  iconic already. I love the concept behind it. Sue me.

4. Gigi - fashionista as always.

5. Crystal - cute.

6. Jan - eh. A bodysuit and a bedazzled goggles? Concept is good though. 

7. She-who-shall-not-be-named

8. Nicky - Love the outfit but the fur cape should've stayed because the cape inside was weak.

9. Widow - Ugly. 

10. Heidi - yeah, it's a no. 

11. Brita - What is that cape? Michelle was right. The runway theme is capes and that dress is not about the cape. It's about the dress itself. And the dress wasn't even stunning.

These challenges are usually hit or miss and this one was somewhere in the middle for me. I didn’t love it but I didn’t hate it. 

Acting

01. Sherry - She wiped the floor with them. It’s a shame she made the choices that she did because I think she’d be making the finale by her success so far.

02. Widow - She got an easier character based on her personality but she nailed it.

03. Heidi - Did decent with what she had to work with.

04. Crystal - As above.

05. Jan - She was solid.

06. Jackie - She didn’t do as great as I thought she would.

07. Aiden - Practically stoke Alaska’s snatch game (because I think that’s all she knew of her) but it was a decent take on Alaska as Mae West,

08. Brita - It was decent.

09. Gigi - I thought it was a fail.

10. Nicky - Some parts were bad but some were delivered great. The bad outshone the good parts.

11. Jaeda - Her face said it all. 
 

Runway

01. Sherry - Great concept and executed perfectly. 

02. Jan - Loved the simplicity. It was was of the more thought out runways this week.
03. Crystal - She had a solid week. The only thing I’d change would be the shoes.

04. Aiden - Great concept and executed well.

05. Brita - She looked stunning. I would’ve liked more of a cape but it was executed well.

06. Widow - I liked the concept and it was playful.

07. Nicky - Loved the construction on the bodysuit. The cape was weak compared to that.

08. Jackie - This screamed man dressing as a woman for me. I didn’t find it convincing for what she was going for.

09. Heidi - Shes giving me ChiChi realness this week. It was two looks combined but the main costume was solid.. just a bit basic. 

10. Jaeda - Terrible week for her. The same hair without the wrap and the bodysuit looked a mess.

11. Gigi - I’m bored by her runways now. Another blazer type concept. Something we’ve seen a lot.

kind of a disappointing season so far, actually. I blame Sherry Pie and COVID-19 for killing the mood.

It seems pretty clear to me that Sherry Pie was the frontrunner at this point and will easily make the finals. Such a shame that the entire cast and production wasted their time with her. It will certainly throw off the whole season and storylines and everything. I'm torn because I wish I could have seen the normal edit of the season, but also I kind of want them to edit even more so we don't even know she was there. 

 

I'm also wondering when they will film the finale because it's also clear to me that the virus is going to postpone that indefinitely. Just now finding this thread so please pardon me if this is all rehashing stuff already discussed.

I think the re-edit is a huge reason why this season is so underwhelming so far. We can’t really celebrate Sherry and how well she’s done throughout the show so far. That kind of dulls any sort of sparkle it could have (could being the keyword. I’m reaching!)

 

I’m kind of at a loss so far. I’ll continue to watch because it’s my favourite show on television but I can’t say I’m particularly attached to anyone at this point. It’s hard.

FWIW, they haven’t edited out any of her airtime in the challenges itself. It’s just been her confessionals and workroom stuff that’s been edited out.

That’s what I meant. So we lose interaction in the workroom when it’s clear she was shown a lot before the edit.

My current ranking:

1. Gigi - After last week's ball and this week's acting challenge, we stan a multi-faceted queen.

2. Jaidi - I know they're trying to villianize her this season, but it ain't working. Her looks kill me every time.

3. Jackie Cox (+1) - She made me cry this week and her looks are always on point.

4. Nicki Doll (+3) - Yes she was bad this week, but her runways have rivalled Gigi's and she deserved better. I hope we see her on an All-Stars season eventually.

5. Heidi N Closet - She deserved to win the first improv challenge and she killed the lip-sync soooo

6. Jan (-3) - I really want to like her more than I do, but she's given me nothing these past few weeks minus being pretty funny as Meredith 2.0.

7. Crystal Methyd (+3) - Her makeup was WORLDS better today and she seems to be taking feedback well, so she moves up on my list.

8. Widow Von'Du - This is no shade to Widow because I like her as a person, but I have not liked any of her runway looks so far and this is a strong cast.

9. Aiden Zhane - I mean, she doesn't deserve the flack she's been getting, but please ditch that wig next week.

10. Brita - Holy sh*t, shut up!!!

11. [redacted] - I mean, at least she deserved this win more than the last one but I still find her annoying even without the scandal.

Yeah, this is definitely accurate. It’s a shame too because there are some really promising queens, it’s gotta be really disappointing for all of the queens on this season to be associated with Sherry, as well as the season airing while everyone is stuck inside and can’t go support them in shows.
