Also whilst Jaida and Heidi were the weakest in the challenge, I feel like you should be instantly in the bottom two if you go over 5 minutes by that much. They should have been more strict on the rules and stopped SP at 5 minutes... she had plenty of time to practice that piece and fine-tune it to 5 minutes, but instead she went way over and then acted shocked when called out about it.

That’s what I’m saying. When they saw it was at like 8 or 9 minutes, I was like “Why aren’t they stopping her?”

 

But she was one of their favourites so they didn’t want to run the risk of Jaida beating her in a lip sync again... especially to a Prince song.

 

But ugh, just the thought of a Crystal/Gigi/Heidi/Jackie/Jaida top five? Wow, What A Moment

Yep, she wouldn't have stood a chance.

I'm really interested as to how different this season would have been had this not all come out, because it's very clear that she was one of the main, if not the main, frontrunners in their eyes before.

I feel like they would’ve been gunning for a Gigi vs Sherry final two. How either of them would come out on top in a LSFTC, I don’t know, though.

They supposedly taped the reunion and finale from the 6th to the 8th, but we don't know much. The current rumour is that it'll be more like the S7/S8 format of having the finalists lip syncing to a song individually.

Lol I haven’t watched yet but couldn’t sleep and went on Twitter so saw the outcome. It’s pretty much what I was expecting so can’t say I’m too surprised.

 

Crystal is dominating the social media vote. I love her but I think the other two have been more impressive overall.

 

Jaida is second on Twitter though (and close to Gigi on Instagram) so far   I’ve seen her getting lots of alumni support as well. Seeing the black pageant queen not struggle in fan votes for once is nice considering the way social media treated A’Keria and Asia. Ugh I really want her to win.

I’m not surprised Crystal is dominating the social media vote. The quirky, lovable weirdo (Katya, Sasha, Divina, Yvie) always gets the social media backing.  

 

Anyway, pulling for Jaida Essence Hall. A back-to-back Jaida/Shea win is what the world needs right now.

Gigi winning this week and Jaida safe? Choices.

I thought everyone did great this challenge! I didn’t even really have a standout, they all worked together really well and I enjoyed all the verses. Based off of the episode I’d have just kept it as a non-elim and then DQ’d Sherry to have a top 4. But I know they had to get rid of someone at the time and Jackie with no wins was the easiest option.

I was more impressed with Gigi than Jaida this week. I thought Jaida’s verses were terrible and especially the solo’s she had. I didn’t particularly like Gigi’s either (how did she win?) but I enjoyed her look/concept more on the runway. I’m yet to be impressed by Jaida in that department since it looks as if she’s dived in to Roxxxy Andrew’s closet from season five. Far too pageant for me to give a sh*t. Both seem to have faltered over the last few weeks but Gigi has had more epic fails than Jaida. I just prefer Gigi’s stronger moments to Jaida’s. I prefer Jaida’s personality and can’t stand Gigi as a person or queen. So there’s positives and negatives for both. 

 

My favourite runway was Sherry’s. It was perfection and one of my favourite looks from this season,

 

I loved Crystal’s verse because of her personality and silliness. I enjoyed her runway this week and she killed the lip sync.

 

I’m glad Jackie is finally gone. I thought her stubble showed more than ever this week which was unfortunate and I was really bored by the constant selling of her Iranian (I think?) heritage. I get that you’re proud but change it up. That combined with her runways, which I disliked 90% of.

 

This season would still be down with the worst of the worst for me. It’s unfortunate that COVID-19 and the disqualification happened and I feel we’ve missed so much to do with so many characters throughout the season. I don’t think the finale can save it with a virtual lip sync but I’ll hold judgement until I see if it works. I think I’ll just find it anticlimactic which is fitting for this season. Thank god I have Crystal.

I adore this Top 3. Jaida is far and away my favourite though and has been since she stepped in the work room and beat Sh*rry P*e in that first lip-sync. She epitomizes glamour and is so accidentally hilarious that it kind of counter balances her perfectionist side.
