It was.... a night.

 

So I 100% agree with Gina moving on right away, girl was hilarious and deserved that.

 

Aidan was fine too, good job.

 

I was most shocked by Dustin over Peter, his stats were overwhelming(almost 16k likes and about 700k views) 

 

Jimmie and the martial artists were great saves, thought they would move on right away though but whatever.

 

I think AGT has a more casual fanbase than of The Voice. FB wasn't aligning that well with who moved on and who didn't.

Brooke is on next week though. Here is what she needs in order to have a chance. 

 

1. Minivan song("Amazing Grace" "Faithfully") Stop with the Billie and Lizzo, we can't protect her anymore if she chooses something like "Dangerous Woman"(Ariana Grande)

Unleash Celine if you have to, I grant permission as a #1 Celine Dion stan (go with "Ashes" "Courage" "Its All Coming Back To Me Now" "A New Day Has Come")

 

2. Restrict your vocals, but also show enough belting. Brooke has been better at this as we seen(since The Voice), however I hope she picks her placements well in her next vocal performance. That head voice is gorgeous too, use that for a verse or two, don't use too much of it though.

 

3. Hopefully a good spot, but if not then just try your best. Weather she's in #2 or closing spot, she just has to give it her all to stand a chance.

 

Brooke can do this, girl give it your all!

Peter is a Filipino, and we all know how the Filipinos supports their own (see the other Filipino contestants' views before), but they can't vote. So I guess that explains the views and Facebook stats 🤔

but why do I feel like she's singing yet another modern song 🤔 I think she's trying to go for the modern pop artist route (based on her song choices and "backstory" on the show)

True, much like Jej on Season 16 of The Voice. Although Peter fit the Minivan appeal.(Young cute boy with huge voice singing vocal trinity, southern housewives would stan, but didn't)

We really do.

 

If she sings like Olivia Rodrigo or Ariana Grande, she's done lol.(unless if Minivan stans pure vocal talent, but wbk)

 

I'm not trying to tell Brooke what do to, but I want her to succeed as much as she can. Her songs right now aren't cutting it in the long run.

Most of these foreign acts receive more views and likes because they get support from their home country which doesn't translate to votes. The likes of Daneliya who got million of views in each performance last season but didn't make it to top 5, V Unbeatable, Peter Rosalita, and Taekwondo demonstration team.

Traitor by Olivia is such a good song. But idk how it's gonna be received.

We be making this a Brooke fan thread lmao(its what she deserves) But in her latest IG story(still up if you wanna see) She said that her next song is "a big deal"

I hope its something like a power-ballad. Not anything upbeat or "Indie-grudge" please. 

 

I hope Brooke was actually just holding back until this moment and will unleash a big song ready to SWEEP the votes.

I guessed Jimmie would be in the instant save. Taekwondo would have been eliminated if the judges tied since ichael was 2nd after Jimmie in the votes. For the magician, he's among my favourites. I just love how he does it with story telling.

1aChord I think is out, Choir has a chance, Victory is pretty locked in. Brooke is the wildcard though, if she picks the right song she can move on, but if not then she's done.

 

I think Josh Blue, Lea Kyle, Chapkidz could be the variety acts moving forward as well.

Some more news on Brooke's next performance!

 

So she's been rehearsing(guessing she was in her performance dress) and I may be reaching, but her mentioning of "Hearts beating" could be a hint to what she'll sing on Tuesday.

 

So the dress looks like it could be a ballad, it looks graceful and Brooke's look is sort of raw(if that's the right word lol) Slay with the boots too girl!

 

Take it as you will, but I think its a good sign that she's going all out and Minivan could be paying closer attention.

 

(Also note, Addison is supporting Brooke all the way! Can we get her on AGT too? 👀)

I know I'm prob annoying but IDC.

 

So Brooke's new IG story(just posted about less than an hour ago) She says that its a "BIG" song that reaches "clouds/heavens notes" She's very excited for it and I think she is going to unleash the beast inside(we love to see it!)

 

She also said that someone guessed the song correctly in one of her "IG asks" or whatever. 

 

I see only good news for this song, Brooke will obviously slay it in terms of pitch. What is needed now is just her placements throughout the vocal and of course the song itself, but I have confidence that she knows what she is doing and is trying for a Finale spot.

 

And if its a Christian/Gospel song, then welcome to the Finale Brooke cause lmao, Minivan would stan.

Over the past few days and my research over potential clues she has been giving, I have come to the conclusion that it very well could be a Christian/Gospel song. Again, I still don't fully know, but she's talking about her culture and ancestors, making everyone proud and such. 

 

I don't think it'll be a modern pop hit(Thank god lol) She's been making this one a big deal, unlike her past performance of Billie "Lost Cause"(she was quiet as hell on that one lmao, I wonder why :teeheewave:)

 

I'm excited for Brooke though, its time for her moment and to make the Finale or we cancel this show.
