*Wallace
28. Bad Bunny - “MIA” (feat. Drake) Kicking off this set is the Bad Bunny & Drake collaboration of “MIA,,” coming in at #28. This is quite a monumental (lack of a better word) song in the sense because this is Drake’s first song he sings/raps in Spanish. Can I say that I ever imagined Drake doing a song in Spanish? I can’t say that i have but I like that it happened because I do love this song and it is quite the jam! And I also must say Drake sounds cool and good doing this song in Spanish. And not only that, he does the whole song in Spanish. And since I don’t understand any of this, I will need Steven’s help with the translations. I like how he starts off the song singing: Todos te quieren probar. Lo que no saben es que no te dejas llevar de cualquiera. Y todos te quieren probar. Lo que no saben es que hoy yo te voy a buscar. I really love the chorus of the song where Drake sings: Dile que tú eres mía, mía. Tú sabes que eres mía, mía. Tú no me lo hacías. Como yo te lo hacía. Como yo te lo hacía. You should know the parts I love and should be here most for…. those MIA, MIA parts! Ooh and Drake sings that part first and then Bad Bunny sings that same part which leads into his verse. Bad Bunny is the actual Spanish rapper so his parts does comes off more naturally and faster too. I do like all of his parts and what he brings to the song. I do love the part at 1:20 where he slows down his rapping and ugh I can’t find that part and can’t quote the lyrics. I was reading through the lyrics but then got lost. Ah well. Bad Bunny has another part at 1:49 and i like how the music changes into a different party feel and his rapping delivery there. I also like the parts towards the end of that part at 2:22 where he raps: Y anochecer. Quiero, decírtelo tanto que te quiero. Y dile al mundo entero. Que yo soy el primero. That has a fun sound to it! And wow super impressive how the music video is almost at 1 billion views. 27. Travis Scott - “Sicko Mode” (feat. Drake) Clean Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nhsb4MXunMo Travis Scott & Drake’s collaboration of “Sicko Mode” comes in at #27. I know “Sicko Mode” is more properly viewed as a 2018 song from many people and I do get that - but this was one of those songs I was a little lot late getting into and my love for this song started coming around 2019. This was also one of those songs I was hearing SO much on the radio early in 2019 and it just helped me to grow loving the song more. It’s also interesting to note that while this is Travis Scott’s 2nd appearance and first appearance as a lead, this is Drake’s 4th appearance on this list all of which he was the featured artist on. Okay this song is a straight up fire jam! Even though it also sounds like three different songs in one but i’ll get into that later. The song starts off slow with Drake’s part, and some parts I love from him are where he raps: My dawg would probably do it for a Louis belt. That's just all he know, he don't know nothin' else. I tried to show 'em, yeah. I tried to show 'em, yeah, yeah. Then the song picks up and when Drake says “he in sicko mode,” the song completely changes and it turns into A BOP! I love the beat and music on this and how Travis raps on his part. Woo, made this here with all the ice on in the booth. At the gate outside, when they pull up, they get me loose. Yeah, Jump Out boys, that's Nike boys, hoppin' out coupes. This s**t way too big when we pull up give me the loot. (gimme the loot!). Was off the Remy, had a Papoose. I can NOT stop jamming. GIMME THE LOOT! Then I also love the parts from Travis where he raps: Now it's 4 AM and I'm back up poppin' with the crew. I just landed in, Chase B mixes pop like Jamba Juice. Ooh and then tat creepy voice comes in at 1:41, which is well.. creepy but whatever I like the inclusion of it and it works well in the song. From the second verse of Travis, I like the part where he raps: Yeah, this s**t way too formal, y'all know I don’t follow suit. Stacey Dash, most of these girls ain't got a clue. Even though we don’t talk aout Stacey Dash anymore. :Ermm: Then the song changes AGAIN into a 3rd song at 2:57. This part includes more Drake and some parts I love from him are where he raps: She's in love with who I am. Back in high school, I used to bus it to the dance (yeah) and Had me out like a light, ayy, yeah. Like a light, ayy, yeah. Then I’m also hear for the part that goes That's what I like, (yeah) that's what we like (yeah). THAT’S WHAT I LIKE, THAT’S WHAT WE LIKE. I do like the next few lines Drake raps, mainly for his delivery and how he raps them. Travis is cool on his part of the song although I prefer Drake more on this part / Travis more in the second section. Although my fave part part from him here is where he raps: It's absolute, yeah (yeah) I'm back, reboot (it's lit!). LaFerrari to Jamba Juice, yeah (skrrt, skrrt). We back on the road, they jumpin' off, no parachute, yeah. Shawty in the back. But yeah, song is a jam for sure and I’m glad that it really grew on me so it could make it this high. 26. 5 Seconds Of Summer - “Easier” 5 Seconds Of Summer makes their third appearance on the list with “Easier” at #26. Okay so when I first hear this song I was really surprised and shocked by it because this song doesn’t have a 5SOS sound to it. I think of them as a pop/rock band, but this song has more of a pop/R&B feel to it…. so yeah I was definitely surprised and didn’t think it suited them that well. But I do love the style/vibe of the song and it is actually more in my taste of music, which is why it is this high. And digging deeper into the song, Charlie Puth co-wrote and produced this which makes ALL the more sense as this sounds much more like a Charlie song over a 5SOS song. There’s also a remix version with both acts on it, which you can view here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ug32yo4Ac0 which is pretty cool - and yeah you can hear how this fits in well with Charlie’s style. BACK to the original, I do love how the song starts off with the a capella chorus that goes: Is it easier to stay? Is it easier to go? I don't wanna know, oh. But I know that I'm never, ever gonna change. And you know you don't want it any other way. And whoa that is a lot of falsetto on that first half there haha. I like how the hard hitting beat comes in for the first verse and how the singer sings that whole part starting with Why do we always gotta run away? And we wind up in the same place. It's like we're looking for the same thing. Same thing, yeah. I love their harmonies on the pre-chorus part where they sing: I love you so much that I hate you. Right now, it's so hard to blame you. ‘Cause you're so damn beautiful. You're so damn beautiful. I like how they sing it kinda slow and puts emphases on each word on that first line and then speeds it up like - I. Love. you. so. much that I hate you. The bridge has a really cool sound to it that goes: The hardest part of all (Da-da-da-dum-da-da). Is that we're only built to FFAAALLLLL (Is it any easier?). But yeah that’s all the parts I want to comment on but i love how smooth and easygoing this jam is. 25. Lizzo - “Good As Hell” Sooo it has been forever since Lizzo last appearance on here but fear not Lizzo fans as she returns with “Good As Hell” at #25. Oh wow I guess I have an interesting history with this song so let’s get to it. I thought I first heard this song in July or so when Elliott and I were discussing Lizzo and then he brought this song up to me. I listened to it and was really liking it on ~first listen. But this song is the oldest song on my list, as it was out in 2016 and the funny thing is, I think I actually really first heard this sometime back then where Lizzo was a guest performer on The Real with this performance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCedLRp54P4 . I love and watch that show, and do remember the episode but I can’t remember Lizzo because I didn’t know who she was, but yeah that’s my fun story. The song was in support of the Barbershop movie, which I also watched a few months ago, like this past September. “Good as Hell” also got a lot of attention from some show or movie on Netflix I think and it pretty much grew in popular from there. When I did hear this earlier in the year, I wasn’t expecting to hear it much more or for it to become this massive hit but thankfully it was - and I grew to really LOVE this song as I should have. It’s also still getting lots of airplay and doing well on the charts now that it may even make it into my 2020 list….. though probably not but we’ll see. This song showcases Lizzo at her best - these feel good catchy empowerment anthems. This whole song is a prime example of that. But especially the chorus is too where Lizzo sings: I do my hair toss. Check my nails. Baby how you feelin'? FEELING GOOD AS HELL. Hair toss, Check my nails. Baby how you feelin'? FEELING GOOD AS HELL. I mean I will say, I did feel kinda weird singing along to this at first because I don’t have that long of hair to toss and don’t get my nails done but I like feeling good as hell, soooo I can relate to that last part. But eventually the more i heard this song and grew to love it, I didn’t care and would burst out singing along to the chorus because song slays! Omgg then from the verses I LOVE the parts where Lizzo belts out some of her opening lines like: Woo child and YES, Lord. She makes it feel like church here! But ahh the latter part of the verse where she sings: Come now, come dry your eyes. You know you a star, you can touch the sky. I know that it's hard but you have to try. If you need advice, let me simplify is sooo freaking motivational and makes me wanna :bye2: a bit. Lizzo sounds beautiful there too. Then I also love the pre-chorus where she sings: If he don't love you anymore. Just walk your fine a$$ out the door . Kepeing it most real. Ugh I love that entire second verse from Lizzo especially the parts where she sings: Got to take a deep breath, time to focus on You. All the big fights, long nights that you been through. I got a bottle of Tequila I been saving for you. Omgg her wink at that part kills me. I also love how she sings the rest of that verse: Boss up and change your life. You can have it all, no sacrifice. I know he did you wrong, we can make it right. So go and let it all hang out tonight. Then I love and am here for all of her voca ad-libs throughout the rest of the song, especially that huge note at 2:04 which is SO impressive! I also really like/love the remix with Ariana Grande here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5xa-XAvErw Ooh and the song has another music video, which I don’t think is totally necessary but it gives the song another look. I will post that here: I do prefer the first video but the second is cool too - but regardless this is a fantastic song and what we need in our lives to feel, good as hell. 24. Lewis Capaldi - “Someone You Loved” Scottish Singer/Songwriter Lewis Capaldi shows up on this list with “Someone You Loved” at #24. Ooh gosh I wish I could remember when and where I first heard this song. I know it was released in 2018 in the UK/European countries but I think I first heard this somewhere in the summer time. I don’t know much about Lewis Capaldi but I know he crafted a really beautiful and great song here. And he has a deep Scottish accent. On my earlier listens of this song, I got James Arthur “Say You Won’t Let Go” vibes and feel this song is the 2019 version of that. Lewis has a really good voice and showcases such vulnerable and raw emotion. And all this song needs is a piano and his vocals. The opening verse is really nice but I really love the pre-chorus of the song where Lewis sings: I need somebody to heal. Somebody to know. Somebody to have. Somebody to hold. It's easy to say, but it's never the same. I guess I kinda liked the way you numbed all the pain. I LOVE the mix of falsetto and belting notes he showcases while singing that part. Then I also really love the chorus which is soo golden, which goes: Now the day bleeds into nightfall. And you're not here to get me through it all. I let my guard down. And then you pulled the rug. I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved. He has more belting there and he has this rigid raw and grittiness to his voice where he seems like he has gone through much pain with what he’s singing and you can hear it in him. I do kinda like singing the song with that rawness to it even though I sound nowhere as good as this. And those lyrics are just sooo sad and touching. :bye2: Hmm I do kinda feel bad no specific parts in the verses stand out as much but oh well, it’s still great. However, the bridge section at 1:53 is sooo freaking good! That’s where Lewis sings: And I tend to close my eyes when it hurts sometimes. I fall into your arms. I’ll be safe in your sound til I come back around. Those parts where he belts out and SANGS “sometimes” and “arms,” is like whoa…. gives me major chills! I’M SHOOKETH. This is a great song and I hope to hear more from Lewis Capaldi in 2020. 23. Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper - “Shallow” Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper closes out this set with “Shallow” at #23. I feel like I haven’t had a Lady Gaga song this high in quite awhile and I never expected Bradley Cooper on here, but welcome Bradley. Of course we all know “Shallow” is the 2019 Golden Globe and Academy Award winning song from A Star is Born, which is actually a movie i would love to see at some point. Also with this song, I felt like heard “Shallow” sooo much around awards season from January to March, and it was also a radio hit too so I heard it even more than I would have expected. And even after awards season, I was hearing this a lot. I believe Bradley learned to sing for this movie and wow he has a really nice voice. I love the parts where he sings: Tell me somethin' girl. and I'm falling. In all the good times I find myself longin' for change. Then Lady Gaga comes in afterwards and she sounds reallly gorgeous on her part. I actually love the same parts she sings as Bradley, so I won’t re-quote those. But then that chorus comes in and OMGG IT SOARS! I love it where she belts out singing: I'm off the deep end, watch as I dive in. I’ll never meet the ground. Crash through the surface, where they can't hurt us. We're far from the shallow now. SO GOOD! Then I love how Gaga and Bradley join together singing In the sha-ha-sha-ha-low. In the sha-ha-sha-la-la-la-low. In the sha-ha-sha-ha-ha-low. We're far from the shallow now. Then Gaga continues on slaying and killing it with those “wooaahhhh” and her singing that chorus once again. I am slayed! :Dead: And to close this out, I really loved their performance of this at the Academy Awards, which was such an iconic moment and like the most talked about moment from the show which you can view here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JPJjwHAIny4 And wow that video has over 246 million views. 28. Bad Bunny - “MIA” (feat. Drake): 27. Travis Scott - “Sicko Mode” (feat. Drake): 26. 5 Seconds Of Summer - “Easier:” 25. Lizzo - “Good As Hell:” 24. Lewis Capaldi - “Someone You Loved:” 23. Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper - “Shallow:” Clues for Songs #22 through #17: - Two songs from the same artist. - A collaboration from an artist that has show up a few times featuring an artist that hasn’t show up on here. - Two one named female artists show up - one song is a one word title and the other song has two words in its title. - A song from a band that features a word that we all are. Elliott
I’m not surprised. Trying to find a video of it is impossible. But she was a guest judge on season ten of Drag Race and when the episode aired, suddenly her music was everywhere in gay culture. She’s also been incredibly receptive to her gay fan base and did a second video for Juice solely featuring Drag Race alumni that she paid for out of pocket. The Zayn version is good but yeah I prefer and am more familiar with this version. And another song we only have about less than 10 spots apart from each other. - Awww noooo. I would think you would love Selena's parts and you should love Cardi's part too. - Not surprised that you love Taylor's YNTCD. Oooh awww I see and awww it’s okay. Ah yeah I said that in your thread and I do think of us with that song. Yess! - Ooh awwww I see but at least you thought of this song for the right clue and got it right soooo you slayy there! Aww yes I do hope you hear it more. OMGGG girl who? Spill me the tea! - Omgg I did? Lol I barely remember this but oh wow haha. I love it. - Yessss at this agreeing! Oooh ahh yeah I am sure you did but I forgot… and can’t go back and see. Lmao oops. Yayy! - Oooh awww I see and hmmm I may have felt that way at certain points with the song too? But I get you. Omggg the peace sign…. awww how cute! I'm not imitating. But it always makes me think of that when I see it. Scared to tell me you didn't love Old Town Road at first? - lol well yeah + you mentioned this when you told me about the song. - Thank you. - Thank you. Is it going up the charts so that I would hear it more? lol. My boss. - I'm shocked because you always reacted that way. - Ughh... I still have my list comments on it, but oh, I see I didn't say that, so oops. - Oh, I'm glad you get me. 28. Bad Bunny - “MIA” (feat. Drake): Oh, I only looked at songs with Drake or Travis Scott as the lead artist for this clue, so oops. This song looks familiar, but never heard it before. I didn't know Drake spoke Spanish either, but cool. It can be hard for me to follow and get into other language songs, but this is okay. It is kind of fun. Ugh, I would try to help you with that one part, but... don't know if I could. Steven will be able to tell you though. 27. Travis Scott - “Sicko Mode” (feat. Drake): I remember seeing this song around a lot when it was popular... omg it sounding like three different songs. I mostly recognize that middle part. That's what I'd always hear on the radio. "I can NOT stop jamming. GIMME THE LOOT! " Ah, I hear how they shout that pat though. omg I remember this Jamba Juice mention. Yay creepy voice. I'm not familiar with Stacey Dash, but I see. Hmm I'm sure I like Drake best on this song, and omg I remember that "out like a light" part too. That's kind of fun. Not huge on this, but it has its moments. 26. 5 Seconds Of Summer - “Easier:” I didn't expect this so high on your list and couldn't really remember this song until I listened back to it. I'm not sure how much I actually heard this, but I like it. lol you loving the style of sound, yet don't think it suits them... and here it is. I also feel like you always mention being surprised by the sound of their songs, lol. Oh yeah, I can definitely hear Charlie on this too. I like all the parts you pointed out and like the song overall. 25. Lizzo - “Good As Hell:” I don't know that you told me specifically about this song being as old as it is, but I feel like you mentioned something regarding this. Wow if you saw her performance this all those years ago and don't even remember. I don't remember where I first heard this, but it is a really fun, catchy, and empowering song. "I did feel kinda weird singing along to this at first because I don’t have that long of hair to toss and don’t get my nails done" " I like feeling good as hell" I like the parts you mention too, but probably the chorus the most. I do agree this style of song really suits her. That belted note is great, although I don't think of it as an ad-lib since she's singing the main part. I love that she did a remix with Ariana and love her vocals on it too. Wow, two music videos? Interesting. But none for the remix. "this is a fantastic song and what we need in our lives to feel, good as hell. " 24. Lewis Capaldi - “Someone You Loved:” I can't remember where or how I first heard this song either, but it was before it blew up, so that was a bit of a shock to me. I thought the same regarding James Arthur. I love the vocal and emotion of this so much. It's so good. And I heard this a million times, but the emotion still hits hard. Love the parts you named too. "I do kinda like singing the song with that rawness " You fake rawness to sing along? Wow. Ugh yes these lyrics and vocals. Although I heard the major belting on 'IIIIII' and not "sometimes", but still. So good. 23. Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper - “Shallow:” I could not escape this song early on in the year. I do love the power and rawness of it. It was played too much that it ruined it for me, but now that it's been awhile, I can enjoy it again. Wow Bradley learning to sing for this role. He dos sound good. I like the parts you named too. Yeah, the build-up with the chorus, bridge, and everything is all really good and powerful. I love that. I remember hearing about this performance, lol. - Two songs from the same artist: Thinking Ariana Grande... but which two? That I do not know. thank u next, 7 rings, break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored. Then there are others like Jonas Brothers, Lizzo, Panic! At the Disco, Post Malone, Shawn Mendes.. wow lots it could be. - A collaboration from an artist that has show up a few times featuring an artist that hasn’t show up on here: I think the only ones that fit are... Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello - Senorita and Post Malone & Swae Lee - Sunflower. - Two one named female artists show up - one song is a one word title and the other song has two words in its title: Normani - Motivation/Lizzo - Juice and Halsey - Without Me/Lizzo - Truth Hurts. Maybe Normani and Halsey. Or one of Lizzo's could be here. - A song from a band that features a word that we all are: Jonas Brothers - Only Human. Oooh ok, I wasn’t mad about it. Oooh awww ok, that’s good to hear haha. Yes. - Mhmmm I did. I said you could relate to it an yep, I alluded to it in my comments here. - You’re welcome. -You’re welcome. This is about “Don’t Call Me Up”? Ooh that song’s run has been over for awhile so it isn’t in regular rotation. You may hear it but not much now as you would have some months ago. Oooh lol I get it. - Oooh. It did make me laugh how you would bring that song up. - Yayyy I love that you do. Awww you didn’t? Darn but at least you said it here. - Always. OMGGG WHAT are you doing? I’m crying. You are having too much fun here haha. - Oooh awww oops, sorry about that. Oooh aww I’m surprised you haven’t heard MIA before especially with your AT40 listens. Shocked. I don’t know/think Drake speaks Spanish.. I think he learned it for tis song? Ah yeah I get that with songs in a different language but for those I do hear a lot, I get into the groove and jam of it and can love it despite not understanding it. Ooh awwww I understand and thanks for wanting to help me out. Aw yse Steven would be a great help for me but ahh he’s way behind. - Ah yes, Sicko Mode was one of those songs that were popular for a long time - some time on the Urban/Rhytmic charts and then on the Top 40 parts. The middle section is the pat mostly played on the radio (alongside the start sometimes) but I feel like the 3rd part is cut out because of how long it is. OMGG your reaction to the loot part. That part cracks me up. OMGGG LOL YESS I remember you shouting out the Jamba juice part in my 2018 write-up too, which I have no opinion of as I never had that. Ooh I thought you knew Stacey Dash? She was in Clueless (the movie + show) but ah that was probably before your time - which was in the 90s. Then she became problematic in recent years which was disappointing but i loved her back then. Oooh awww I get and understand these comments. Yay for liking Drake more on this and the song having its moments despite not being big on it. - Ooooh. I love surprising you like this. I can’t explain it but I did grow to love Easier over time. Oo I’m a bit surprised you couldn’t remember this too well with how it goes as I thought you would have really liked or loved this. LOLOL Yeahh I do really like/love the song but think it’s a weird sound for them but I like it sooo i dunno. LOL wow yeah I guess that is true. I just expect them to be more pop/rock so their poppier songs surprise me. Yesss at hearing Charlie on this as this feels like his kind of song. Yayy glad you like this and the parts I listed overall. - Ooooh ahh did I? I can’t remember if i did but maybe i did? Yeahh I think i did and it’s crazy to me because I had no idea what a Lizzo was back then. Yayy your comments on the song and your word choices. I agree. LMAOOOO Glad you find that part funny but yeah it’s soo true. Kinda weird for me to sing those parts but it is what it is haha. Yayy for liking the parts I mentioned here and yay for liking the chorus best. It’s great. Agreed with your comments and yesss that note is soo good! Ooh I thought i meant the ad-libs afterwards. Yayy for loving the remix with Ariana and I agree. Yeah I found out about the other video about a month ago when doing these song write-ups and was like “oh. “ Yeah the remix should have had a video too. LOL you giving me the face everyone here hahaha. - Ahhh I am curious on this for you too. SYL seemed to kind of blow up out of nowhere and I think i heard it a lithe right before it blew up. YESS @ getting and thinking the James Arthur comparison. Totally feels like that here. Yayy for loving Lewis vocal and emotion on this and mhmmm it is so good. Ooh not surprised you heard this a million times but awww at the emotion still hits. Aww. :’( Lol did I say that? But yah I kinda do this raw rough sounding voice while singing along to this - but not too much as it could hurt my voice. Oooh you did? Oh mmm. Yes! - @ your first sentence but yesss me tooo. Yayy for loving the power and rawness of this song. Aww noo at this song being played too much where it got ruined for you. Aww that’s a bummer. But glad you can enjoy this again! Yess at your Bradley comments. It’s crazy impressive he leaned to sing properly for this song/movie and does sound good. Yesss at liking the build-up and all of what I listed. Sooo agree and love all of the power in this! Yay for this love. Omg lol yes this peformace was talked about so much so not surprised by your last sentence. YAYYY Denise guesses here! :w00t: Oooh some interesting guesses here. And lol your comment on the first clue with how it could be lots of artists. I wish I could say more but i will just giggle. Love the vibe of the song, and she sounds good. 33. Ed Sheeran - “Cross Me” (feat. Chance the Rapper & PnB Rock): Ed been more of a miss for me, lately, and this is no exception. Selena Gomez, Ozuna & Cardi B.): Why would Selena go that low to make a song? Imagine collaborating with DJ Snake and Cardi B - I'll pass. 29. Taylor Swift - “You Need To Calm Down:” Now, *Wallace, we are talking! I absolutely love this song - this song has such a good message and it was def. the song of pride this year. Lizzo - “Good As Hell:” Love this song even though it's not 2019. It's iconic, the song is amazing - love Lizzo and the feel of this song (oh yes, this emoji still exist!). Anyway, like Elliott, I knew this song because of RPDR and been obsessed with it ever since. 24. The entire song is perfection; it would probably be in my Top 5, if not it would damn close to it. And his album is brilliant! 23. Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper - “Shallow:” So this song is very 2018 for me considering when the soundtrack and album came out. With that being said, I love this song. Lady gaga's vocals on it are perfection. The song is addiction; as soon as the song starts, I am ready to sing out loud to it. But I'll Never Love Again >>>>> Shallow. I would think you would love Selena's parts and you should love Cardi's part too. - Not surprised that you love Taylor's YNTCD. Yeah I know Lover is more universally loved but I do prefer her other two singles, hence me having those higher. - Aww yayy at Good as Hell being your favorite from Lizzo. I can't comment on this for me yet but we'll see. Yeah GAH was released in 2016 but got popular in 2019 - so many of us know and consider this as a 2019 song as she wasn't known then. Plus her team re-released this this past summer, so yeah. Oooh cool. I still prefer the original. - Yayy for loving SYL. Oh how young is Lewis? I don't know his age but not surprised he's younger than how e sounds. Great song though. - Yayy for loving Shallow. I think the version with Ariana was released well into when the song was popular, like maybe around November or so? It would have been cool to have a video with them. Oooh, I’m only saying that in the name of the song, haha. BABY HOW YOU FEEELING? - Mhmmm yess. Aww omggg the crying face but awww Denise. :bye2: I use more of my natural voice while singing along to this song but I just go all gritty on the parts that Lewis goes all gritty on. I don’t want to cause harm. Ooh I do hear the I’s there but oops, think i was meaning to mention those parts and the sometimes part too. Ooh I also forgot to mention how Jimmy Fallon was singing tis song…. he really does that growly rigidness to his voice there and he makes it such a mess. - Awww nooo that’s a bummer and so sorry but I can understand. Ahh I know but yeah he would comment on that while promoting the movie. Bradley would say thank you. Omggg lol “I sure heard.” Omggg awww nooo don’t say that. My comments weren’t about you being right or wrong at all. I just love how specific you were with naming examples. And yeah I can’t say much but….. all will be revealed. Steven_
64. Meek Mill - “Going Bad” (feat. Drake): NHT. Interesting how they used to have beef, but here they are collaborating. Anyway, this song just isn't my cup of tea, I'm sorry to say.63. Kygo & Whitney Houston - “Higher Love”: I heard about this song, but this is the first time I'm giving it a proper listen. I have mixed feelings about this as I feel like they opportunistically used Whitney's vocals for their own benefit. However, Whitney sounds amazing as usual. The overproduced effects on Whitney vocals toward the end of the chorus is unnecessary though as she slays this song without it. Still an enjoyable one to listen to, though.62. Rita Ora - “Let You Love Me:” LOL at your first sentence since I first read the title as "Let Me Love You." I think I have heard this one before, but I forgot about it until now. As I'm hearing it again, I like it! The chorus is my favorite part here.61. Marshmello - “Here With Me” (feat. CHVRCHES): Interesting about your thoughts about CHVRCHES as I only recognize their name thanks to the music rankdown. Anyway, I was about to say NHT, but I have heard this song before on the radio. I think it's a fine song. I don't know if it's a song I would seek out to listen to again, but I wouldn't change the station if it came on the radio either.60. Selena Gomez - “Lose You To Love Me:” I remember this song, but it hasn't grown on me enough for me to call myself a fan just yet. I do agree with you that she sings it beautifully. Nice lyrics and nice vocals.59. Ally Brooke - “Low Key” (feat. Tyga): I remember Ally from DWTS. I can't remember if I heard this song before or not, but it's not bad. I agree with you about the sensuality of the song, but it's not my favorite song from the ones included in this set. Maybe it could grow on me, though? Ooh awwww I’m surprised but i understand. It wasn’t like Youngblood huge so i get that. Gad you do like it. All of them? Lmaoo wow, I didn’t think ~all but some. - I had to say this. But this second part makes sense. I already did. - Ah okay. I didn't think you were shouting that at me. That would be weird. omg what? I'm sure I told you. Jamba Juice is primarily a smoothie place, but they have some other stuff too. - Also... The Wanted. Okay. I feel like you did with their last few. - I know. Oh, but sometimes they release remixes to radio and stuff. Oh, but it wasn't in quotes either of those times. I'm tired, but okay. - Thanks. Ooh okay, I understand. Yes... but it's that part and the "armsss." I can hear it so well in my head. OMG he did? Oh Jimmy. I'm not surprised. - Thanks. I may have heard this, but forgot. lol. I did. Oh okay. Aww that’s a bummer but i understand this not being your thing. - Ooh I’m glad you get to listen to Higher Love on your first listen here. Hmmm I get your comments on this. I don’t know all of the behind the scene behind tis and do hope they got her people’s/who got the rights permission to her unreleased music to work on this though. But yess Whitney does sound amazing on tis of course. Understandable thoughts but glad you do like it. - Lol yess i always think of it as that title too. Yeah Denise had this on her list last year so you def heard it from there and could have been elsewhere too. Glad you like this with the chorus being your favorite part. - Yeah I recognize CHVRCHES being on the Music Rankdown game too. Yayy for hearing this song on the radio. Ooh ok glad you have mostly positive thoughts and enjoying it despite not being big on it. - Understandable comments on Selena’s LYTLM. Hopefullly it can grow on you within time so you can become a fan of it. But glad we agree it is a beautiful song. - Yesss, that is right with Ally on DWTS. Ooh yayy for thinking it’s not bad and agreeing with some of my thoughts. Hopefully this song can be a grower on you if you were to hear it more.
