Alex95 Posted January 27, 2020 Share Posted January 27, 2020 (edited) Rectify Rectify is a show I've been meaning to watch for the longest time and never have gotten around to it. I think I'd like it based on conversations I've had with people with similar interests in television with me. Unfortunately I've actually watched The Deuce and do like it, so I'm cutting Rectify in order to save The Deuce. Rectify is a show about a man who is released from prison after 20 years of being wrongfully imprisoned. He has to adjust to life outside of prison and it is a very difficult adjustment to make, as one could assume. It stars Aden Young, Abigail Spencer, J. Smith-Cameron, Adelaide Clemens, Clayne Crawford, and Luke Kirby. I've seen Spencer, Smith-Cameron, and Kirby in other shows and like them in there. The show's supposed to be a slow burn and deals more with character development than huge plot points and those are shows I tend to prefer. Like I said I've been meaning to watch it and maybe one day I'll have the time. But unfortauntely I have not watched it yet so I'm cutting it.
