I was going to make a prediction map, but I decided not to try to figure out this mess. :haha:

No one knows what's gonna happen, and that's why it will be so much fun to follow the election on Tuesday to see everybody's reactions.

Can't wait to see Jonathan's reaction if Trump wins NC, or Trump supporters' if he ends up loosing GA. :haha:

I just saw this powerful video from Nicole. MAHA (Make America Healthy Again) should be a non-partisan cause. After the elections, I hope more politicians, health professionals, and industry leaders would support and work towards the MAHA agenda.

There was a poll from IA that showed Trump behind by 3 points. I obviously don't believe that.

The latest polls from IA are showing that Trump is gonna win it by double digits. I think that's more accurate.

Maybe Abortion will be a huge issue in the election, who knows? But according to polls, nearly 35% americans said economy is their main issue. Nearly 23% said immigration is their main issue. 15% said crime is their main issue.

Only 11% said abortion is their main issue.

People with a little common sense know inflation isnt primarily the fault of Biden. Steep inflation since covid is a worldwide problem and governments that conservatives love like Israel and Russia have done even worse than the US. Problem is a lot of Americans are myopic and think they are the world so they think it must be Biden's fault

I never said it was completely Biden's fault. Obviously,  Trump has a lot to do with it. The printing, borrowing of trillions of dollars and extra spendings happened under Trump.

Economy is the main issue for voters and an avg american trusts Trump more than Biden/Harris on inflation cz they don't know all the facts and figures. Basically that's what I meant.

I think both Trump and Biden did a poor job. The last president who was very good on economy was Bill.

You might have to open the entire conversation to get the full context, but In summary, most pollsters are weighting their samples based on the 2020 results. So, they could miss new voting patterns and movement of certain segment(s) or the electorate.

Wolfers, in a subsequent tweet, mentioned that the New York Times/Sienna poll does not weight the samples based on recalled votes. I’m sure there are others too, but that was the one example given. I’m assuming Ann Selzer didn’t do that either. The trade off is more potential for outliers vs. a higher likelihood to capture changes from 2020.

I am fairly positive Harris will win. I am not allowing myself to get overconfident like I was in 16 but I have not seen anything like this since Obama 08. If Trump wins, maybe I can get a job transfer to Canada. lol!

I saw this last night after the game, and thought that must have cost a fortune, but it sounds like it was probably free. LOL

Yea, FCC reminded NBC that they violated the equal time rule by having Harris appear on SNL, so NBC had to provide free airtime for the Trump campaign. Trump's ad had an audience of 20mil on SNF (plus millions more on NASCAR), while Harris' SNL appearance had an audience of 5mil.

I don't know if it would make a difference. 81mil already voted early or by mail as of today.

They are showing her Pittsburg rally on MSNBC and she still has her final one in Pilly later tonight! I love her energy! I wish I had her energy and she's 16 years older than me!

Joe Rogan endorsed Trump when he posted the Elon Musk interview tonight (11/4/24):

One of the topics he talked about with Elon is about the NY state overreach. 10 government enforcers conducted a 5-hour raid of a home and took their pets (Pnut the Squirrel and Fred the Racoon), and killed them.

The six citizens of Dixville Notch in New Hampshire gathered at Tillotson House at midnight and cast their ballots after Cory Pesaturo performed an accordion rendition of the national anthem. The official results were announced around 12:10—3 for Harris and 3 for Trump.

OK, here’s my prediction map. I’m not overly confident in it, but figured I’d take a stab at it. Late deciders seem to be favoring Harris, and I think will push her over the top. I could also see NC swinging her way, but I don’t feel good enough about it to put it on the map. All of the swing states are coin flips, and this could easily be an electoral landslide for either candidate. I don’t have a horse in the race. I wish they could both lose, and will leave that race blank on my ballot tomorrow morning.

We might not find out until Friday who won Nevada, since that is the deadline for mail ballots to be received. How ridiculous is that?

Thanks. They all voted for Nikki Haley in the primary (July 2024)

Past votes:

2020 - all voted for Biden

2016 - Clinton won with 4 votes

2012 - Obama and Romney were tied with 5 votes each

2008 - Obama 15, McCain 6
