Kari Lake just over took a narrow lead against Karrin Taylor Robson in the AZ GOP Primary...

@TeamAudra Is AZ Governor, Lean D or Solid D?

Yeah, Lake dominated the Election Day voting, which I was afraid of. Wasserman jumped the gun a little, even though he didn’t call it. I started to believe it too. Arizona’s vote counting is a shit show, just like in 2020. And they wonder why people get suspicious.

There isn’t a ton, but recent polling shows Lake trailing by 5-9 points.

Polling shows Masters trailing by 9-17 in the Senate race. 🥴

Still a ways to go till November, but if Kari Lake maintains the lead and grabs the GOP nomination, then she needs to bring more light to the other top issues to the state than just remphasizing "election fraud" (at least her wording of it). Election integrity is VERY important...but the problem is that if she keeps on bringing it up and not shine light on other issues at the same time, the amount of independents / moderates may not be enough to get her over the finish line.

- Maybe it is just to get that conservative turn-out (day-of) for the primaries only as a strategy. But I am not holding my breath that it will change for the general.

Haven't looked into Blake Masters yet.

This. The initial vote count after an election should be completed within a few hours.

https://thepostmillennial.com/breaking-trump-endorsed-gubernatorial-candidate-tudor-dixon-wins-michigan-gop-primary

excerpt from the article:

Dixon, a conservative commentator, businesswoman, breast-cancer survivor, and working mom of four girls, said it was "a great honor" to receive Trump's endorsement. She vowed to fight back against the "heavy-hand of big government ideological liberals like Gretchen Whitmer and Joe Biden," taking aim at "wrongheaded economic policies," "radical gender and race ideology," and skyrocketing crime rates. She went on to state that she will hold Whitmer accountable for her "terrible record."

Nancy Pelosi had originally planned to visit Taiwan in April, before she tested positive for COVID-19. This week's risky Taipei visit defied warnings from China and escalated US-China tensions. Hong Kong, North Korea, and Russia also denounced Pelosi's trip to the island.

China's military, the People's Liberation Army, celebrated its founding anniversary on August 1. It is on "high alert" in response to the Speaker's stop in Taiwan. Statements from its Eastern Theater Command and Ministry of Defense announced exercises surrounding Taiwan from Thursday to Sunday, along with a series of "targeted military operations to counteract the situation."

Taiwan’s Defense Ministry condemned China's "irrational" live-fire drills around the island—equivalent to a "maritime and aerial blockade." Taiwan negotiated alternative aviation routes with Japan and the Phillippines. Japan expressed concern to China over its planned military exercises in Taiwan Strait, calling for "the peaceful resolution of the cross-straits issue."

China suspended the import of some Taiwanese products and the export of natural sand, a key component for the production of semi-conductor chips, to Taiwan.

Websites of the Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the English portal of the Taiwanese government experienced DDoS attacks of Russian and Chinese origin on Tuesday night. Earlier on Tuesday, a cyberattack of foreign origin hit the Taiwan presidential office website.

Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense says 21 Chinese warplanes (10 J-16 fighter jets, 8 J-11 fighter jets, one Y-9 electronic warfare aircraft, one Y-8 electronic intelligence aircraft, and one KJ-500 airborne early warning and control aircraft) made incursions into its self-declared air defense identification zone on Tuesday.

Big Maricopa County dump coming at 7:00 PT. They have over 100K ballots remaining. These are reportedly “late” early votes.

Counties have had almost two years since the last presidential election to fix this kind of issue...

Yep, Pennsylvania had the same issue again this year too. Remember Florida,  3rd most populous state, had almost all of theirs reported within a few hours.

2nd guess…He has the votes to pass constitutional carry. He’s been trying for a while. That would definitely generate a media meltdown.

That sounds like a good guess. A book announcement wouldn't cause the stir that gun or abortion legislation would.
