On a different note, I really like Tulsi's response on what needs to be done in the current coronavirus situation.

Thank you for posting. I was coming here to post the video she released, regarding this. And, Yes. .It's a good solution, being that so many people, are going to be off from work, for a little bit. As one of the commenters on the video said "Talking points are cheap. Tulsi makes it happen. Now that's a leader"

We’re literally in the middle of a national crisis because people refused to vote for someone competent.

There isn’t a political spectrum. It’s a circle.

There was going to be a crisis either way, because of people traveling to the countries affected the most, and returning home, in addition to people from those countries traveling here. The cruise ship is another example. Nothing could have prevented that.

Trump’s biggest problem is his mouth. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about most of the time. He also has a tendency to contradict his own experts. The good news is, the people on the task force do know what they’re talking about. Ignore Trump, and listen to them.

Implementing travel restrictions from China, back in January, was clearly the right call. Let’s not ignore the fact that Biden called the action “Xenophobic.“

Dont see how you can blame the corona virus on Trump.

I cant feel bad for Hillary. Sure she was competent but if you want to win dont lobby for the DNC to rig it for you (hello pre screened debate questions as admitted by Donna Brazille)

Also a good idea not to have been on the board of Wal mart before your presidency, or be fired from the Nixon investigation, or have huge swaths of your campaign funded by the Saudis.

Maybe a little TMI, but here’s the latest update on the married father of 3, who came within a whisker of being the Governor of Florida.

I find it more irritating that he took a job with CNN tbh. Everyone makes bad choices on bad days. Sometimes you pay for those and sometimes you get  away with it

He's not even elected to anything, in which case... who cares.

His name has been tossed around as a potential VP nom, and he’s still heavily involved in Florida and national politics in a campaigning capacity. Plus, he’s a CNN contributor. If this was a Republican, not even the coronavirus would keep this off the front page.

I was only about 10 when Bill went through his impeachment process. But I remember it being front page for a long time. In his life he was only half as overtly scandalous as Trump. Clinton cheated repeatedly on one wife. Trump cheated repeatedly on three, hired illegal workers and formed a fake university and that's just the half the iceberg

Bill was doing it from the Oval Office. Of course it was front page news!

I’m not really surprised that you downplayed it. He’s been mentioned as a potential VP pick for Bernie. I’m assuming you voted for him too.

As for Trump, if we had a police report and alleged body cam of a sex party with a naked male prostitute who OD’d on meth, that would have pretty big news (even before he ran for President), don’t you think?

Yeah I voted for him. I don't agree with 90 percent of Republican policy.

Bernie isn't gonna win but it wouldn't make sense Gillum  as his vp. Sure he used some of Bernie's language while campaigning but the fact he took a job at CNN as a talking head shows how much he actually cares about service and progressive policies.

The guy lost a governor race and was mayor of Tallahassee.  Which is the capital city but not even one of the 5 largest in Florida.  He wouldn't be qualified to be vp

Honestly, no. Or maybe for a day. He's done worse than this..

There is no debating the hypocrisy of the Republican party.

This dude is irrelevant, but I suppose a nice foxnews distractions from the immense failings of the Trump administration.

He’s certainly irrelevant now. I’m not sure that was the case as of a few days ago.

I don’t even think Fox News has been talking about it. If it wasn’t for coronavirus, it would probably be a different story. There’s a decent chance he’s already been relieved of his duties with CNN.

You might get a different perspective on some things, if you take off your partisan glasses every once in a while. 😉

Again, proof that Trump and Sanders supporters are close politically. Keep repeating those lies.

Do you remember what happened with Ebola? H1N1?

Hint, there wasn't a global crisis because the world behaved competently.

Unlike Donald Trump, A President Hillary Clinton wouldn't refuse testing kits from WHO. She wouldn't refuse to test in general. She would have allowed the CDC to warn seniors a month ago, like the CDC wanted to. She wouldn't have put in place a travel ban with no federal organization - leaving travelers stranded in huge crowds. She would have been screening those individuals coming into the country with more than just outdated questions. She wouldn't have dissolved Obama's Pandemic response team. She wouldn't have tried to bribe Germany into giving the vaccine to the US only. She wouldn't be ignoring (and discrediting) science and health specialists - leading to 70 percent of her party thinking big gatherings are okay when it is imperative to practice social distancing at the moment. She wouldn't be calling it a “Foreign” virus because it plays well to her base. Oh, and she definitely wouldn’t be golfing and tweeting about Donald Trump.

She would be involved in ensuring hospitals are prepared to deal with a huge influx of patients (Using FEMA and resources from the Department of Defense). She would be fast tracking clinical trials for vaccines. She'd be working with the rest of the world on this global crisis - as Obama did. Providing the leadership the rest of the world is used to America providing.

How do I know this? It's what Obama did. It is what Biden will do.

Again, elections have significant consequences. They aren't some vanity project where you don't have to participate in order to practice your form of purity. Don't vote blue no matter who. Vote competent if there is only one competent candidate. It matters, and this is only the most recent example. Learn something from the last time.

I don't want to vote for Joe Biden either. But it's where we are at. Our country likely can't survive four more years of incompetence and crazy. Admittedly, I had a moment of "would I vote for Sanders" if he won. TeamAudra even asked me so. It was a tentative yes, only because I knew Sanders wouldn't be locking up children seeking Asylum. (As Joe wouldn't either.) - but then something like this happens, and I realize the above that is true for Clinton and Biden, is also true of Sanders. As awful as I think he is, he isn't incompetent.

We have someone who has no business making decisions for anyone, making life or death decisions for a country. A return to normalcy is vast improvement.

BTW, Clinton and Sanders voted the same 93% of the time, and believe it or not, on many policy issues - she voted to the left of him. And now we're all stuck with Biden, and I would wager the percent is certainly lower than 93% similarity. But, if you are truly someone who believes in Sanders policy ideals - Biden is a hell of a lot closer to that than Trump.

Honestly, I didn't even know who the guy was. lmao

It's just silly to bring up any sort of personal controversy given Donald's track record.

It's also weird when we have a president with credible allegations of rape against him. It seems you take a lot of pleasure in this because why, he's a Democrat?

I didn’t vote for Trump. I think you did...am I right? Those allegations were out prior to the 2016 election. We talked about them at length in this thread.

I have no party affiliation. I’m happy to go after all of them when they deserve it. And Gillum clearly deserves it.

It just doesn’t seem that you do go after both sides, but okay. And yes, I did believe at the time he was the lesser of two evils yes, but could have gone either way on that one. In retrospect, I made the wrong decision and do regret it. I also live in a state where my vote wouldn’t have mattered. I did know about the various allegations, the lies, etc and unlike others, I don’t deny these actions and/or statements ever happened.

Just yesterday, I said that Trump doesn’t know what he’s talking about, and to ignore him, and listen to the task force instead. LOL.

I spent several months ripping on Trump before the election and longer than that after the election, while you repeatedly twisted yourself in a pretzel to defend him. Going back to that time, I was under the impression that you were more conservative. Is that accurate?

Anyway, I have no idea what I’ll do this November. I may go third party again, because like you, my vote doesn’t matter in my home state. A lot depends on how these next 2-3 months goes. Not being tied to a political party is very liberating.

Out of curiosity,

If you lived in a state that mattered..would you go Biden or Trump?
