I think that the more people see of Biden the less support he will have. Trump is immune to that criticism at this point, but I don't think Biden will be. 100% agree with all of this. That is why Biden can't beat Trump. 1
Jonathan Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 (edited) Omg Trumps mental health on his best day is worse than Biden’s is on his worst day. He will beat the pants off Trump no problem. Edited March 5, 2020 by Jonathan

(1) I'm not sure that is true (2) That is a shockingly low bar and I think we can do better (3) Trump's voters do not care about his mental state. Biden's potential voters will likely care more, and it could affect turnout.

NYTimes is saying she won't be publicly endorsing anyone until the nomination is secured because she doesn't want to fuel the divisiveness anymore. Wouldn't be shocked at all. Only way I could see that changing is if Bernie or Biden offer her the VP slot. In that case, I could see her endorsing earlier.

It would result in blowback for her regardless of whom she endorses. Wise decision.

I also think with their ages, they might be going after someone younger. I could actually see Biden picking Pete.

But I also think Biden's record in that dept speaks for it itself. As for Biden beating the pants off Trump...well I just dont think that happens but we'll see bc it's now clear that he'll get the chance.

I don’t think there’s any way he would make it through two terms and two campaigns. I’m surprised he even agreed to run. Edited March 6, 2020 by TeamAudra

Oh I don't expect Biden to run at 82. His VP choice is key now because that is most likely who will run in 2024. That's why I really hope it's Kamala or Amy.

I have no illusions, about her winning (this time), BUT … she is a unique candidate, pulling in people, from all fronts, with a message, that needs, to keep getting out to people. And, she has my full support, and vote. The ONLY candidate (and I mean ONLY), to come out swinging against the Military Industrial Complex, Big Pharma, Private Prisons, Big Ag, Big Oil and ….. the very corrupt, disgusting DNC, is Tulsi. The rest are supporters of all that I listed, or …. are cowards.

It’s amazing what happens to candidates who openly oppose the status quo.

RWG Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 Interesting piece on the unravelling of Warren's campaign https://www.politico.com/news/2020/03/06/warren-team-wonders-how-they-blew-it-122628 I admired Warren as a politician focused on regulating banks and helping working people. It's too bad that whoever got in her ear was able to change her into a person focused on taking selfies and showcasing her dog.

People say that there are some conservatives that would vote for Biden but I've not seen any proof of that. I've seen several conservative Republicans like Tucker Carlson who like her. Which makes me chuckle because she is with Bernie on 90 percent of the issues. I hate to say it though but I think for a lot of the Republican men its because they find her attractive

Mostly people who just don’t like Trumps personality. Probably a very small percentage of voters.

mercfan3 Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 Conservatives aren’t going to vote for either Biden or Sanders. There are some people who consider themselves moderate that either didn’t vote last time, or voted for Trump who might switch over. The problems weren’t fixed from last time though. Republicans have still make it difficult for communities of color to vote. Republicans refuse to fix election security. The only thing Dems have in their favor right now is that Republicans aren’t currently running a political investigation against the Dem candidate (don’t worry, they will.) Democrats win with a young charismatic candidate who doesn’t have much of a record - so Republicans and progressives can’t make mountains of mole hills. (Obama/Clinton)...We needed Booker/Harris/Pete/Beto. I’ll take Joe any day of the week over Bernie, but the party is in an awful position.

She has met the debate qualifications, (2 delegates, and 1, gave her that qualification), but looks like the very corrupt, un-democratic DNC, are going to play dirty, with her again. It's not Russia interfering with our Election. it's the DNC and Mainstream Media. It's CRIMINAL !!
Guest Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 She has no delegates practically and no path. She's in this for her own vanity now. Get the hell off the stage. Point taken about the rules being changed and all that, but another rule change to allow you on stage isn't going to make you suddenly viable.

Although it's obvious, that she is not going to win, the point is … she is still running, because there are many of us who want her to run, and are supporting her (Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Libertarians, Greens, as they all show up at her town halls). It is her Message, her Platform, that needs to get out to people. Having TRILLIONS of $$ spend on the endless Regime Wars, has got to come to an end!!! It's senseless!!!!! We weren't elected to be the world's police! The last reason she is still in, is because of vanity. THAT, is not at all, who she is. And … She is literally a target, because of what she stands for (Reigning in Military Industrial Complex, Big Pharma, Big Oil, Privately Owned Prisons, Big Ag). That is why she is silenced. RWG Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 ^ Why not support Sanders if you care about those issues? Biden is probably going to win anyways, but Gabbard has literally zero chance and Sanders is still a thousand times more viable than her.
