Reminder, the Top 8 is: Katie Kadan, Ricky Duran, Will Breman, Hello Sunday, Rose Short, Jake Hoot, Marybeth Byrd, Kat Hammock I'm predicting the parings are going to be... Katie/Rose (Powerhouses + Rose is Gwen's last contestant. Pairing her with a frontrunner will give her a giant boost) Jake/Ricky (They can probably deliver some sort of country/southern rock performance together) Marybeth/Kat (Some soft song will probably be all they need) Will/Hello Sunday (Leftovers, there's always that one oddball pairing. Hello Sunday is the wild card here, it's kinda hard to place them.) I also wouldn't be surprised if we got Kat/Jake and Ricky/Marybeth instead. Ricky and Will: Soul rocker and alternative/indie-rocker. Hello Sunday and Kat: Youngsters/leftovers. OR Katie and Rose: See above. Jake and Ricky: Could do a country duet since Ricky can do country. Anyway, my music mind came up with Hello Sunday paired (get the wee pun?) with Kate & Anna McGarrigle. The sound of their 4 voices together would be heaven(ly). What id prefer /predict though Jurnee Siani Will/Ricky (rock) Marybeth/Kat (Besties) Jake/Kate (Top 2) Rose/Hello Sunday (Other two) Other possible outcomes could include one or more of Jake/Kat( country?), Rose/Ricky, Jake/HS(the remaining artists on team Kelly, etc While I’d like a Marybeth/Kat duet I feel like TPTB is going to push for a Jake/Kat duet for some reason Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
