What I’ve always said in the past with these....Now what? It’s going to drop quickly, and that will be that. These appearances on the show generate a very short term gain, yet make it more difficult to shake the reality show stigma. I don’t think Emily Ann should have done it either. She’s several years removed from the show, has professional management, and is trying to make inroads in Nashville. Going on the show made little sense. Answer: because there's nothing in it for Morgan lol. 500 downloads on itunes aren't worth it for successful artists. They would do it as a favor to someone associated with the show, but there's nothing in it for them. The Voice demo isn't their target audience. On the other hand, it's a good move for alums who are struggling, especially country alums. They have nothing to lose, and it's their target audience.
