The first name I'm going to call this week is...Alasia! Once again, you committed far more than most of the others this week, and it paid off. This picture is so raw and dynamic; it's terrific. Congratulations on your second consecutive FCO! Your score this week was 38. Also safe are... Jessica - 59 Alexandra - 88 Tatianna - 96 Raina - 100 Brenda - 123 Krista - 150 Anslee - 165 Will Naduah and Simone please step forward? Only one of you will make it through. I don't think either of you had the worst photo this week *glares at Krista*, but nonetheless, the two of you failed to impress in this shoot. Naduah, I actually think you've been pretty underrated in this competition, but you do tend to overthink your poses. This week, though, you had the opposite problem, not looking alive enough. Simone, you started out this competition so strong, but from week to week, you've gotten progressively weaker. We're not sure we can see you breaking out of that "safe" box. Based on overall scores, only one of you can continue on. And that person is... Congratulations, Simone. Your body of work has gotten weaker, but it is still strong enough to keep you around. Next week, we need to see you take more chances. Naduah, this means you are out. You truly are a beautiful woman with such a unique, exotic look, and I think you have it in you to be a fantastic model. Ultimately, you just didn't start with the momentum you needed to go further. rdhaley96 Posted August 16, 2020 Author Share Posted August 16, 2020 (edited) Photoshoot #5 - Faux Fashion - Alasia Alexandra Anslee Brenda Jessica Krista Raina Simone Tatianna - Like always, rank these pictures from best (1) to worst (9). Comments are optional (but always encouraged!). Voting will close tomorrow evening, so you have about 36 hours to vote. My Ranking: Alasia - She's really been killing it lately, huh. I think she could have given a stronger expression and angled her face better, but the pose and overall shot are terrific. Jessica - It's definitely her strongest so far, but this loses points because of how it's cropped. The bag being out of frame hurts the overall shot for me. Krista - After last week's mess, this is a huge improvement. I love the body language here as well as the far-off look in her eyes. Raina - It's a fine shot. I like the body language and how she's hunched over, and I think she's selling the clothes/accessories well. It's just kind of forgettable. Brenda - This is another solidly middle of the pack picture from Brenda. She looks pretty good here, but the overall picture just doesn't stand out that much. Tatianna - It's an interesting shot, but I don't know how to feel about it. I like her commitment, but maybe she committed too much. This is borderline ugly. Simone - She looks great in this picture, but it's a little boring. I can't really see her committing to this shoot that much in real life. Her picture would probably be safe. Alexandra - I like what she went for here, but it falls a little flat. She's just not giving enough intensity in any part of her picture, which makes it kind of weak overall. Anslee - I love how she looks in this styling, but she's not doing anything with it. The shot just reads flat to me. She could have done so much more.
