yeah so it was bad he basically hid his instagram stories from me when I was into him in the name of setting 'boundaries' and did not warn me at all. It damaged my mental health and caused me to attempt suicide

Also we’re both gay countertenors who sing both Classical and Jazz music.

He later said,

 I said “Yes, Vibrato”.

I said it how most Americans would say it.

He said: “NO!!!!” (Followed by an insanely long “dramatic”, pause).

”VIBRRRRRRATTTOOOOOOO!!!”

(In an “Italian”, accent).

This would be like me giving you a plate of Spaghetti, asking you if you know what the dish is called. You being like “Spaghetti”, and me being like “NO!!!!!”

followed by an insanely long “dramatic” pause, and saying “SPAGHETTI”, in an overly dramatic Italian accent.

Honestly, there a lot of worse shows than The Voice USA in that department. The other day i was watching a vídeo about how The X Factor UK literally destroyed a contestant's life by making her look like a villain. Her name is Zoe, and that was way back on 2012. Anyway, here it is. 

 

 

As manipulative as The Voice USA is, i don't think they would ever step that low, mostly because part of their brand is the whole "feel good" and "drama-free" (mostly) vibe. 

 

Edit: with that said, this is only a extreme example of how all of these reality shows (obviously including The Voice) works, with producers manipulating every single thing so they get the narrative they want, without caring who they harm in the process.

Kind of related, I took a music history class sophomore year to get my gen Ed’s done and we had to watch videos of john singing for homework. Like, on multiple occasions. He sang a lot of “counterpoint”.
