TeamAudra
I don’t know about all of that, but I never understood why they stayed cooped up for months in Montana, and I wonder even more upon reading what the living accommodations were like (assuming the above is correct). They had much more comfortable places to stay. It also sounds like their life was far too complicated, by their own doing. Buying this and that, just for short term convenience? I don’t wish to engage in conspiracies, but those are my thoughts. EDIT: She was clearly drunk during the live shows. QueenMae16
I don't want to assume anything really, but yeah it seems out of character 100% I'm not sure Kelly is as "perfect" as she makes herself out to be. Yes she seems sweet and genuine, but I think she had her own personal problems that maybe Brandon wanted her to recieve help, however she just ignored it. I truly feel bad for whatever she is going through, and their kids are gonna suffer too unfortunately. I know some of us take it as a joke too, but really Kelly I think has an alcohol problem, so that could have rocked their relationship as well. Someone648
With Nolan Neal back on our screens (courtesy of AGT), does anyone remember the bit of drama with him and Billy Gilman back in Season 11? I wanted to go back and remember what happened but obviously we can’t access the old gossip thread.

I can’t recall exactly what it was. Hopefully, that will jog someone’s memory.

Someone648
I recall reports of someone peeing on the floor and being just a generally messy individual but it was so weird that I wanted to make sure it wasn't a fever dream lol.

Nolan was the messy one (including possibly peeing on the floor), and Billy ratted him out, which may have played a role in Nolan’s early exit. Bouli
Reviving this topic (with some almost-guaranteed-to-be-old-news)... I can't believe I haven't heard about Amanda Lee Peers's blog until now. (For those who don't know, she was on Season 7.) She talked a lot about her time on the show and had some interesting things to dish about: Conspiracy theories explaining why she may have been eliminated (even though I don't think they hold much water); Taylor John Williams having no stage presence; Gwen Stefani's private comments to her and TJW; Why Gwen was Amanda's last choice for a coach; And more! I'm sure this was posted in the old gossip thread, but it's the first time I'm seeing it, so maybe it's your first time too lol. https://amandaleepeers.wordpress.com/category/the-voice/
Bouli
People already started this discussion in the General Discussion thread, but I really think it's worth adding it here, too (if, for no other reason, to revive the thread). As a Marisa stan... I kinda had a feeling that she was going to go off on Kelly/the show after her elimination. I could tell by the salt on her face. But God, I love tea. Here are two comments that she liked. There are far more, but this was all I could screenshot on my browser lol - so I'll link the Instagram post and you can dig in. https://www.instagram.com/p/CIBiI4HjANz/
Bouli
And I'll just go ahead and add my two cents. As a MASSIVE fan of hers (as anyone who sees my comments here should know), I don't like her bagging on Tanner by proxy by liking a comment that calls her performance "far more" in comparison. Like, I agree that her performance was better, but I also think it's kinda hurtful for her to send that message to him that he wasn't "good enough" to beat her, even indirectly. He has his own merits and plenty of people who preferred him, and you just have to leave it at that.

I disagree with the decision to eliminate her, as she was one of my favorites this season, but I just think (1) her comments are a bad look, (2) her comments are burning bridges, (3) her comments are extremely hurtful, and... well, (4) the tea tastes good anyway. You can disagree with the decision without going on a rampage on Twitter (because YES, her Twitter is even worse than Instagram). I think it would be a much better look for her to focus on the silver lining, like the fact that her elimination in Knockouts means she isn't contractually bound to not release music for a year, especially because given the general voters' demographics/tastes/standards, she probably wasn't going any farther than Playoffs anyway. There are far better ways to express that Marisa should have won, and she's liking and retweeting some of the worst ones. The tea still tastes good, though, so, I mean... Bouli
Quote so, while i wish she didn't say the things she did, i still wish her success, and perhaps a little more discretion for the future, where i know she will face difficulty (whether because she's LGBTQ or just because), but perhaps will find less sympathy for her honesty. I will 100% support her after the show - Twitter/Instagram rampages or not, she's still an incredible artist, and I love her voice. And I understand her frustration because I was EXTREMELY salty when she was eliminated. And I know she's going to have a lot of roadblocks ahead of her, but I'm also glad that this show gave her so much exposure to people who appreciate her. And I'm not saying that her comments don't have ANY merit. I'm a Marisa stan, and Tanner is my least favorite country artist left. But you should kinda know what you're signing up for with this show. The weighted country demographics have been pretty solid since AT LEAST Season 7, if not earlier. This is a television show, and they have to do what they have to do to please their viewers, the majority of whom don't like artists like Marisa for multiple reasons (some justifiable, some unjustifiable IMO). Artists in any other genre have to work that much harder with rearrangements, subtlety, and feeling unique enough to the viewers to be excused for not falling into the demo. And it SUCKS, dude. Look at my profile picture and my favorites throughout the years. I really, really get it. But it is what it is, and I don't think it's a good look to rave against them - especially because a lot of the comments are hurtful against not just Tanner, but Kelly as well. It's like biting the hand that feeds you, AND looking like a sore loser. For the sake of not feeling repetitive, I don't want to post them again, but you can find some of her tweets and retweets in the General Discussion area (if she hasn't deleted them). They're pretty bad. Edited November 25, 2020 by Bouli Added quote

roundtown
My take on it is it's not a good look at all, but I'll cut her some slack, for now. It's been 2 months since it happened, and 11 months since the process started, and she's gone through all the emotions of it during that time. Probably had come to terms with the outcome then it gets brought back up again and she's seeing all these people giving her these affirmations on sm and she's feelin' herself a lot because of it and might be slightly blinded to the look it's giving off. If it continues for awhile into the future, I might not cut her as much slack. I have more to say, but I'll stop with that because I'm not sure how I want to word it for it to make sense. At the end of the day, it's a television show/competition. Heavy on the television show part. I'm not saying there are shenanigans going on, but they're making a product for television and it's not always fair to all people.
