She WILL BE in demand & or receiving great offers & opportunities. Between what she, herself, brings to the table and the circles in which she travels & the company she keeps... there are no worries, hers or of fans. She’s already worked with them and Kenny Ortega on a live pitch for a movie for “Hair.” She played Sheila, which is a lead role. TeamAudra Posted October 23, 2020 Author Share Posted October 23, 2020 I noticed Chevel has been promoting her Tik Tok account a little over the past few days and almost doubled her followers with three posts. Maybe she noticed Andrew Jannakos had the #1 song on iTunes for 3 days, and supposedly has labels contacting him now? All because of his 600K Tik Tok followers. How did he get those followers? While almost everyone else his age focuses on posting stuff on their IG stories, he constantly posts on Tik Tok. It has such huge untapped potential, I can’t believe more haven’t caught on to this. Maybe Chevel has. Her Facebook strategy has worked extremely well. Now, she needs one for Tik Tok. I would say just consistently post stuff there, for starters. People listen to those songs year after year, and her large Facebook following will eat it up. A couple of her recent Saturday songs were recorded in a studio, so I’m guessing the Christmas album has already been recorded. There’s very little downtime with Chevel, even in a pandemic, and there’s almost always something to talk about, nearly two years after her run on the show. For example, “Go Rest High On That Mountain” only got a little over 200K views on Facebook (low compared to most of her videos), but already has 112K on Tik Tok, and she just posted it yesterday. It’s by far her most viewed video. She only has 16K followers (but growing fast), and I’m still trying to figure out how it got to 112k views in a day. On the other hand, her cover of “Harper Valley PTA” didn’t catch on as well on TT, despite it being her most viewed on FB (2.5 million) It appears as though the best Tik Tok strategy is just to throw everything against the wall and see what sticks, because you never know what will catch fire, and there’s no rhyme or reason for it. TT is far more boom or bust than FB, which is good! One viral video could easily result in 10s of thousands of new followers. If one doesn’t get many views, who cares. A high volume approach is probably best. Honestly, that seems to be what she’s been doing over the past handful of days, and it’s working. She’s gaining thousands of new followers every day. Keep doing it! Anyway, it is a great cover. She really hit the jackpot with this local filmmaker. He clearly put a lot of time and effort in to this, and he’s good. Really good. This is likely low budget, but the quality and level of creativity is going to be high. It’s also a song that seems to fit her voice and style very well. Looking forward to seeing the entire video.
