  1. The Queen of Hearts I think Dee requested safety for four of the six remaining options, so luckily my save is one of them and the cut is not. The Queen of Hearts is the main antagonist of Alice in Wonderland and is the ruler of Wonderland. Although all the characters of Wonderland are "mad", The Queen of Hearts is the most dangerous. She has sadistic love of beheadings, with "Off with their heads" as her catchphrase, which is certainly not relatable. She becomes obsessed with decapitating Alice after she arrives in the kingdom and humiliates the Queen of Hearts. Of course, Alice ends up safe and sound, while the Queen gets hit in the face with jam and a gavel. After Alice insults the Queen, she is chased out of Wonderland and the Queen does not get her wish to behead her granted. I somewhat agree with Megan in that Alice in Wonderland has many memorable characters that don't necessarily do too much, which is kind of what conflicted me when considering nominating some of them. I do love the movie and the whimsy of it all though. I prefer other fun characters Alice meets over the Queen though, most of whom were cut already. Actually ouch, I see three of the four remaining characters from this movie were just cut, so I am sorry to have contributed to that. At least The Queen of Hearts is the highest ranking one outside of Alice. Saving: Kuzco
  2. Remaining: Ernesto de la Cruz (Coco) Kuzco (The Emperor's New Groove) ** Roz (Monsters Inc.) The Queen Of Hearts (Alice in Wonderland) ** Lock, Shock, and Barrel (Nightmare Before Christmas) Dr. Facilier (Princess & The Frog)
  3. Awww. Hopefully that means more of my top favorites are not in the next set then.
  4. Our rankings have been quite close so far too.
  5. Ahhh. I don't want to read any more. But you ranked Heartbeat in your top 5, so that is one thing that makes me happy.
  6. Two of my top 10 already showing up.
  7. That leaves the following for Victoria: Where the Day Takes You (1992) Six Degrees of Separation (1993) Ali (2001) Men In Black II (2002) Bad Boys II (2003) I, Robot (2004) Hancock (2008) Men In Black 3 (2012)
  8. I believe this is what's left to cut (including your All of Us cut, @JC)
  9. Sisters I'm happy to step in for Victoria to complete this write-up. Sisters is a comedy that was released in 2015 and marks the second film collaboration between Tiny Fey and Amy Poehler, after the movie Baby Mama in 2008. Sisters follows the story of two adult sisters: Kate Ellis (Fey), the older sister, who is an irresponsible single mom with a teenage daughter; and Maura Ellis (Poehler), the younger sister, who is a kindhearted nurse and recently divorced. Kate and Maura's parents are set to sell their childhood home, which takes the sisters back to their old bedroom to clean out their belongings within one weekend. They are very upset to lose all their childhood memories, and the anger of that combined with Maura getting through her divorce + Kate's hotheadness leads the sisters to throw one last wild house party to relive their glory days. Unfortunately, the party begins to get out of control, and may end up with no house left to sell at the end of the night. Sisters was released on December 18, 2015, and met with mixed reviews, although the chemistry between the lead actresses has been praised. It grossed $105 million on a production budget of $33 million. It currently holds a 60% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has a 58 Metascore. I'll quote the critics consensus from Rotten Tomatoes to give a little more insight to the movie: "Sisters' sharp blend of pathos and vulgarity, along with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's effervescent chemistry, are more than enough to make up for the handful of laughs this coming-of-age comedy leaves on the table." I am not that familiar with this movie myself and it doesn't really sound like one I'd be interested in, so I am content with Victoria's decision here. Saving: Anna
  10. "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to " Aw, I might check into it, but at the same time it makes me really sad. I did! I kept thinking it reminded me of someone, and I think it is Alicia. 008. Elise Testone: I'm not a huge fan, and I'm not sure what it is, but maybe what you mentioned about the lack of connection with her personality. I do feel that way, but I wasn't obsessed with her voice either - although she's got a great tone for the style of music that I think suits her best. She did give many strong performances, even if I didn't love them as much as others. I do really remember liking One and Only, and maybe some of the others you mentioned - Let's Stay Together, Vienna, and Whole Lotta Love are ones I remember, but don't actually remember how much I liked each of them. Wow, WLL being your favorite performance in Idol history is huge! Thanks for sharing that. LOL her and Steven Tyler having similar pants. Oh, I think You And I was one of my favorites as well.... but actually, I think my very favorite Elise performances were the duets. I really enjoyed both of her duets with Phillip - Stop Draggin' My Heart Around and Somebody That I Used to Know. I think she is someone that could maybe grow on me with a rewatch, but I do think she's talented, even if not a favorite. I posted my guess for the next clue in my previous post, but I'm going with Crystal for now. At least you are stopping me from guessing David Cook again.
