  1. Narcos I won’t be home until tonight, so I’ll update this write up with a photo and more info then. Narcos is a crime drama show that premiered in 2015 on Netflix. It was set in Colombia, aired for three seasons, and ended in 2017. Except not really, because a fourth season was reset as the first season of a new show, Narcos: Mexico. It premiered in 2018 and is, of course, set in Mexico. I’m cutting this show because I never heard of it and I needed to quickly make a choice. It also doesn’t sound like something that would interest me, but more to come later. Saving: Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan

  3. I highly doubt that. But this second part makes sense. I already did. - Ah okay. I didn't think you were shouting that at me. That would be weird. omg what? I'm sure I told you. Jamba Juice is primarily a smoothie place, but they have some other stuff too. - Also... The Wanted. Okay. I feel like you did with their last few. - I know. Oh, but sometimes they release remixes to radio and stuff. Oh, but it wasn't in quotes either of those times. I'm tired, but okay. - Thanks. Ooh okay, I understand. Yes... but it's that part and the "armsss." I can hear it so well in my head. OMG he did? Oh Jimmy. I'm not surprised. - Thanks. I may have heard this, but forgot. lol. I did. Oh okay.
  4. - Yeah, but I don't think she's a billionaire, so that's why I'm saying no. - Oooh okay, I could see that. They wouldn't actually be Thomases at that age though, which I thought you said, but yeah could have been like this. - Oooh. It is 35 spots higher, which I don't think is that close. But Liar has also been growing on me, as I mentioned. Ah, I remember. I don't get that or feel that way, but oh well. I hope it could grow on you. Love the intensity. - Yes, this is them. I know! I think the song sounds close enough to her style though that it doesn't phase me at all. Oh, I thought you would like this more, but oh well. - Me toooo. Yeah, well at least on here, but it's an example of how small IDF is when certain things or people the majority here don't appreciate are loved outside the forum. He is doing very well for himself. Yes, thy are. Oh, I thought he always had that tone to his voice. Oh okay. Ooh you did? Yes it is. - I don't think so, but you may have guessed it before. Oooh interesting. I'll have to check that out, but I don't get it with the singles either. Yes. Yes, the chorus! Really? Hmm I can't think of who or what, sorry. Hopefully it will come. Oh, I like those parts too. Yes, that angst! Oh yayay, I'm glad and hope so! Oh, you heard this on the radio too? Hmm. Ugh, hate that. These songs deserve better. - Oh what? I didn't say anything to suggest I wasn't crazy about this. Confused, but I was always into this since I first heard it. I love it! I know Ariana and Miley are friends, at least. Oooh. Yes, this is true. I agree. I like how it's structured though. Well oh. I know about this. I don't have that attachment, but I'd like to see both. Princess Jasmine, we stan. - Oh. I seeee... lol January 2019. It is the right year for the list. But I see if you didn't hear it again after that. It does and it's very sweet. Glad you think so! Yay. Yay the guesses. Hmm. I don't really know how "better" or "motivation" describe me, but interesting. Best Part of Me was already on the list. Hmm all these names.
  5. - Why would they do that? Although I did hear about their "goodbye" tour, which I'm not pleased about. They need to make music forever. But yeah, this is the last single they've released that I know about. Okay, glad you think so! - lol. And lol if Carrie was featured with O-Town. Aww okay, but at least you like it somewhat. - I see! Oh yay. - "Well that was an interesting metaphor used" Ah okay, but yay you still like it! - Woohoo! - - Aww I see, but you like this one, so yay! - I never thought that about his voice before, but at least you say it in a nice way, lol. I do hope this could grow on you. - I get that. LOL yes, I believe he released 8 singles from the album in 2019. Crazy. - Oh yay, I'm glad you know this one after all! It is fun. Understandable, but at least you enjoy it. - I think I was too, although I didn't even know that until recently. No idea about that either, but it says that on the Wikipedia page. I agree! - Glad to introduce you to this and that you like it on first listen! - For sure and I agree about the chorus as well. I don't think Blake wrote on the song, and yeah, Wiki confirms this. I agree. - Oooh! I'll have to check that song out, if I don't hear it on your list list. Yay! - I agree with your thoughts here. Too bad you didn't hear it more, but glad you appreciate it still.
  6. Scared to tell me you didn't love a song that you also thought I didn't even like? - Yes. Oh okay, so I'll only hear it more myself. I shall download it. - You said you didn't remember laughing about it. We were having our photos taken. - It's okay. Oh, I don't remember it from there, but maybe. Oh, but he spoke (or rapped) Spanish here, at least. That makes sense and I think I'm the same, but not familiar with this song to feel that way about it. Aww. - Ah I see. Oh really?! That explains why I recognize just that part. lol wow. lol it was because I hadn't gotten to that part of the song yet, so it was like you were just shouting that. Aww Jamba Juice. Oh well. Noo, I don't know, but okay, I see. Yeah. - I feel like you do this sometimes with boy band songs. Hmm I'm not sure I heard this as much as you. I do recognize it listening to it, but just didn't remember it much or knew it well enough to think of. I do like it. Hmm okay. I feel like you say this about all of them though. Yes I doo. - I thought so. LOL you saying this. Reminds me of when I didn't know what a Chandler Bing was. Yay! Oooh. I do love these parts. Oh okay. It would be cool if the Ariana version could be released too and/or have a video, especially since they decided to have a second one. But oh well. Yes, because I'm surprised at what you're saying. - Hmm. I see. Yes, for sure. Yeah. I thought so. I would just use your natural voice. Yeah, do not cause harm. Yes, listen here: https://youtu.be/zABLecsR5UE?t=113 - lol. Ugh yeah, can happen. I wouldn't have guessed that about Bradley. He's very good. I do and yeah, I sure heard. Oh, all this laughing and giggling makes me think it must be someone else then.
  7. - Ahh. Well, if so... just one receipt would be over a billion. So I will go with no. - Yeah. That's fine. Maybe, but the footage wouldn't necessarily show him wanting the things he talks about in the song, lol. - That doesn't mean my #1. It can still be a standout and one of my favorites. - I knowww, but that's proof. Aww. Oooh that is interesting to think about... but omg now we can't do it. We can with this year's.
  8. 86. Camila Cabello - Shameless This song appears to be about Camila struggling through some kinds of issues... It has a really powerful sound that starts in the pre-chorus and it really captures me and sets the mood really well. "So many mornings I woke up confused, in my dreams, I do anything I want to you" Well wow. Wow. I love the way she powers on the chorus and also sings some parts in her falsetto. My very favorite is "Write it on my neck, why don't ya?" This song has such a dark, edgy feel about it that perfectly fits what she seems to be singing about. She says this guy is not hers... yet she's shameless. At the end of the bridge she says "I just wanna give in, and I don't care if I'm forgiven" So wow, she sounds so rebellious here. I'm not sure what to say. I love the emotion in her vocals throughout and wish this song got more attention like it deserves. 85. Gone West - What Could've Been I heard this song on the radio once and really liked it a lot, only to find out it was by Gone West. I had no idea who that was, again only to find out that it was a new group formed with Colbie Caillat and a few others. It's actually Colbie and her fiance, and Jason Reeves (who wrote on a lot of Colbie's songs) and his wife. So two couples. That's cute and Colbie's gone west country! The song still has her sound though and ugh I love it. The song is reflecting back on a failed relationship and ahh it's so pretty and sad. I love so many lyrics from the first verse, including "Two years and an ocean between us, and I don't know where it all went wrong", "I know I coulda kissed you harder", and "But we meant every "I love you"" Colbie sounds so pretty. They all sound so magical and heavenly together in the chorus and this really reminds me of a Lady Antebellum song. Therefore, I am here for it. Love this lyric from the chorus "Looks like you're on the mend and I'm on the bottle" and then my favorite part goes "Tried moving on, but I keep coming back again to what could've been..." That last part really soars and I love it. TO WHAT COULD'VE BEEEN. And omg this line from the second verse "I wonder how many good mornings we wasted 'cause we didn't say goodnight" Ugh, that is really something to think about. Never go to bed angry. Ugh, the whole thing is just beautiful and gets me in my feels. I love the ending. "Do you still wonder? Still, wonder? What could have been?" This song could have ranked much higher had I heard it more, but I'm still getting familiar with it. 84. Danny Gokey - Haven't Seen It Yet I randomly feel like Danny Gokey's #1 fan when it comes to song lists, because I've have him on here a couple times, but don't remember anyone else including him. He has some really great songs I love though, including this one. This is such a powerful and inspiring song for those going through struggles and realizing that there is still hope and God's work is not done yet. It starts out with a really relatable lyric: "Have you been praying and you still have no answers?" He asks a lot of questions there in the first verse, but then... "Don't forget the things that He has done before, and remember He can do it all once more" Yesss although it gets even more powerful in the chorus. "It's like the brightest sunrise waiting on the other side of the darkest night. Don't ever lose hope, hold on and believe, Maybe you just haven't seen it, just haven't seen it yet" And then my absolute favorite part of the chorus: "All His promises are just up ahead, maybe you just haven't seen it, just haven't seen it yet " Ahhh I feel the power and inspiration so much at the part and the whole last part of the chorus. It's amazing. I also love this part from the second verse so much: "So in the questioning, don't ever doubt His love for you 'cause it's only in His love that you'll find a breakthrough, oh" I love his vocals there and everything. Of course I love the bridge too and everything about it. This lyric: "Good things are coming even when we can't see. We can't see it yet, but we believe" Amen. Ugh, this is so good and everyone should hear it. The message is incredible and important and Danny sounds fantastic. I also see this song charted at #1 on three Christian music charts, so that is amazing for Danny. 83. Camila Cabello - Cry for Me This is a somewhat fun sounding, and very relatable, song about a post-break-up experience where your ex just moves on too fast, and you need him/her to have a little remorse over you. So it's fun SOUNDING, but not exactly in content. I really love the edgy, rock kind of feeling of it, especially in the pre-chorus and this lyric is my favorite: "Never thought you'd be so good at moving on" which sums it all up. But the chorus is the best and so I WANT YOU TO CRY FOR ME CRY FOR ME. SAY YOU'D D-D-DIE FOR ME DIE FOR ME. AND IF YOU CAN'T THEN BABY LIE FOR ME LIE FOR ME. It has such a great jammy feel. I love this lyric from the second verse "See your lips erasing me" for some reason. That's an interesting image. But omg can we talk about this bridge? The angst is real. "And you're okay, you're okay, how can you be okay?" Love that part the most. It's such a standout. I don't know what kind of single treatment this song got, but it is apparently considered one. 82. Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, & Lana Del Ray - Don't Call Me Angel This was kind of an unexpected collaboration, especially between all three of these artists... but it makes sense as it's for the new Charlie's Angels movie, and we know how that centers on three powerful women. This song represents that well too as it feels very empowering, even from just the title itself. I love the feel of the song and how Ariana's chorus and verse have a more flowy, airy sound to it and Miley's verses have a harder hitting edge. Both parts work really well, but the chorus is my favorite. "Boy, don't call me angelll, you ain't got me right" But then I love this lyric from Miley as well "I make my money, and I write the checks, so say my name with a little respect" Yes! Then Lana does the bridge, which is my least favorite part, but does have a cool sound to it. This song really feels more like an Ariana song, featuring Miley and somewhat Lana. That's fine by me. I love the feel of it overall, and I also want to see this movie because PRINCESS JASMINE I STAN. 81. Backstreet Boys - No Place This is a really sweet song from BSB that is basically about how home is where the heart is and that is with the person they are singing to. There is no place like home and where their family is. That is captured well in the music video with footage of their families. And the lyrics also describe how, despite all the amazing places they've gotten to visit as part of their career, it's nothing compared to being with the ones they love. "I've been all around the world, done all there is to do, but you'll always be the home I wanna come home to" Their vocals all sound sooo good on this. So crisp and clear. The melody is simple, but warm and happy feeling, which suits the song perfectly. This really gives me such happy and cozy vibes. 86. Camila Cabello - Shameless: 85. Gone West - What Could've Been: 84. Danny Gokey - Haven't Seen It Yet: 83. Camila Cabello - Cry for Me: 82. Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, & Lana Del Ray - Don't Call Me Angel: 81. Backstreet Boys - No Place: Clues for 80-75: - Two songs from male solo artists whose names start with the same letter and who got their start in a similiar way. - This song is from two artists I have no familiarity with, but features a singer I know and love. - A one word song title that can describe me. - Another song from an artist from the 130-123 set. - Another song with a number in the title.
  9. Is there a way to hide spoilers in posts or at least keep the content of spoiler threads from showing on the right side of the home page? I try not to read it, but it's hard not to notice when the sidebar is full of spoilers.
  10. My mom sent me this video today! Looks like it was randomly published as part of a recent article: https://www.whiskeyriff.com/2020/01/29/high-school-freshman-carrie-underwood-wows-the-crowd-with-cover-of-martina-mcbrides-a-broken-wing/ Incredible, as expected. That guy sure knew what he was talking about.
  11. It's nominated for Best Original Screenplay at the Academy Awards. Ugh, I thought it had more nominations. I guess I was thinking of the Golden Globes where it had three nominations: Best Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy, Daniel Craig for Best Actor - Musical or Comedy, and Ana de Armas for Best Actress - Musical or Comedy. It deserved all those and more.
  12. This movie has been in theaters for about two months now, but I wonder if anyone else here has seen and loved it like me? I can't get over how good it was. It has an all-star ensemble cast, including Daniel Craig, Ana de Armas, Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Shannon, Don Johnson, Toni Collette, and more. I'll post the trailer.
  13. I'm not imitating. But it always makes me think of that when I see it. Scared to tell me you didn't love Old Town Road at first? - lol well yeah + you mentioned this when you told me about the song. - Thank you. - Thank you. Is it going up the charts so that I would hear it more? lol. My boss. - I'm shocked because you always reacted that way. - Ughh... I still have my list comments on it, but oh, I see I didn't say that, so oops. - Oh, I'm glad you get me. 28. Bad Bunny - “MIA” (feat. Drake): Oh, I only looked at songs with Drake or Travis Scott as the lead artist for this clue, so oops. This song looks familiar, but never heard it before. I didn't know Drake spoke Spanish either, but cool. It can be hard for me to follow and get into other language songs, but this is okay. It is kind of fun. Ugh, I would try to help you with that one part, but... don't know if I could. Steven will be able to tell you though. 27. Travis Scott - “Sicko Mode” (feat. Drake): I remember seeing this song around a lot when it was popular... omg it sounding like three different songs. I mostly recognize that middle part. That's what I'd always hear on the radio. "I can NOT stop jamming. GIMME THE LOOT! " Ah, I hear how they shout that pat though. omg I remember this Jamba Juice mention. Yay creepy voice. I'm not familiar with Stacey Dash, but I see. Hmm I'm sure I like Drake best on this song, and omg I remember that "out like a light" part too. That's kind of fun. Not huge on this, but it has its moments. 26. 5 Seconds Of Summer - “Easier:” I didn't expect this so high on your list and couldn't really remember this song until I listened back to it. I'm not sure how much I actually heard this, but I like it. lol you loving the style of sound, yet don't think it suits them... and here it is. I also feel like you always mention being surprised by the sound of their songs, lol. Oh yeah, I can definitely hear Charlie on this too. I like all the parts you pointed out and like the song overall. 25. Lizzo - “Good As Hell:” I don't know that you told me specifically about this song being as old as it is, but I feel like you mentioned something regarding this. Wow if you saw her performance this all those years ago and don't even remember. I don't remember where I first heard this, but it is a really fun, catchy, and empowering song. "I did feel kinda weird singing along to this at first because I don’t have that long of hair to toss and don’t get my nails done" " I like feeling good as hell" I like the parts you mention too, but probably the chorus the most. I do agree this style of song really suits her. That belted note is great, although I don't think of it as an ad-lib since she's singing the main part. I love that she did a remix with Ariana and love her vocals on it too. Wow, two music videos? Interesting. But none for the remix. "this is a fantastic song and what we need in our lives to feel, good as hell. " 24. Lewis Capaldi - “Someone You Loved:” I can't remember where or how I first heard this song either, but it was before it blew up, so that was a bit of a shock to me. I thought the same regarding James Arthur. I love the vocal and emotion of this so much. It's so good. And I heard this a million times, but the emotion still hits hard. Love the parts you named too. "I do kinda like singing the song with that rawness " You fake rawness to sing along? Wow. Ugh yes these lyrics and vocals. Although I heard the major belting on 'IIIIII' and not "sometimes", but still. So good. 23. Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper - “Shallow:” I could not escape this song early on in the year. I do love the power and rawness of it. It was played too much that it ruined it for me, but now that it's been awhile, I can enjoy it again. Wow Bradley learning to sing for this role. He dos sound good. I like the parts you named too. Yeah, the build-up with the chorus, bridge, and everything is all really good and powerful. I love that. I remember hearing about this performance, lol. - Two songs from the same artist: Thinking Ariana Grande... but which two? That I do not know. thank u next, 7 rings, break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored. Then there are others like Jonas Brothers, Lizzo, Panic! At the Disco, Post Malone, Shawn Mendes.. wow lots it could be. - A collaboration from an artist that has show up a few times featuring an artist that hasn’t show up on here: I think the only ones that fit are... Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello - Senorita and Post Malone & Swae Lee - Sunflower. - Two one named female artists show up - one song is a one word title and the other song has two words in its title: Normani - Motivation/Lizzo - Juice and Halsey - Without Me/Lizzo - Truth Hurts. Maybe Normani and Halsey. Or one of Lizzo's could be here. - A song from a band that features a word that we all are: Jonas Brothers - Only Human.
  14. We gotta go back and beg for the abandoned smileys to be added in.
  15. -> It's not there by coding, but it still exists as an image (and in our hearts).
  16. - I suppose. Oooh okay, I didn't remember that, if that's the case. I see. Ah, she'd have to spend unthinkable amounts for that to happen, but... wait. Do receipts looking like phone numbers include area codes? - I checked my saved recap and see it at #83. I said in my comments "released as a single late 2018." Oooh, I don't know if that would have been how they'd do the video, but aww. - Okay, I looked and saw I said it was a standout. But like I said, it can still be one of my favorites with a couple ahead of it. - You realize years go by fast when you think about 2004 being 16 years ago. I should do all my clues that way, but can't with so many of the songs not on your list. Oh okay. I just wondered since you didn't mention. Aww thank youu.
  17. Suggestions are being accepted for the new forum's sub-title, if anyone has ideas. https://idolforums.com/topic/741295-subforums/page/4/?tab=comments#comment-28266902
  18. Me: "Your favorite." "You: Of course....." LOL you using this claybleh face.
  19. You finally confirm the #1 I have known all along.
  20. Thanks Tom! I got the threads moved over.
  21. Samantha Who? Samantha Who? is a sitcom that premiered on ABC in 2007 and aired for two seasons. I heard of this show, but don't remember much of anything about it, so I'm about to find out. It stars Christina Applegate as Samantha Newly, the vice president of real estate firm, who develops retrograde amnesia following a car accident. Ooh, now I get where the title comes from. Upon waking up, Samantha strives to change her ways, since she realized that she had come off selfish and unlikable prior to the accident. She wants to make amends and become a better person. Among the other cast members, I know Melissa McCarthy, who played her friend, Dena, and Barry Watson, who played her roommate and ex-boyfriend, Todd. The show was highly rated in its first season, but lost enough viewers in the second year that ABC decided to cancel it. Fun fact: it was originally called Sam I Am, then changed to Samantha Be Good, and ultimately ended up as Samantha Who? The original name was changed because of conflicts with Dr. Suess. Early promos for the show did not state any title, and only used a question mark, which was attributed to the character of Samantha not remembering the show's name. Clever. I have no opinion on this show, having never seen it, and like a good number of the other noms, so that's why I cut this one. Saving: Gossip Girl
