Oooh I was thinking of the pros and realized some fun facts about them. - Nancy is the only Pro to be apart of 2 semi-finals in a row, with last year (with Rhys) and this year (with Will). And also, her first two years of being a pro with a celebrity partner (though she has been apart of the Pros roster even longer with no celeb). - Carlos, Vito and Jowita are all first time pros (with Jowita's first time with a celeb partner) and all of them made it to the semi-final with their respective partners. - Gorka is the only true ~veteran pro, as this is his 3rd semi-final (as he was there with Alexandra and Maisie in the past). Just some fun facts I thought of earlier today.

That's a fair opinion. I thought both dances were really great from her though I can get how someone can prefer one over the other.

We got our 6th celebrity announcement! Dancing with the Stars: Former Irish rugby star to hit the dance floor Former Irish rugby player Shane Byrne has been announced as the sixth celebrity to take part in Dancing with the Stars. The 51-year-old got his first cap for Ireland in 2001 and went on to win a further forty caps for his country. The retired international rugby player was part of the winning Triple Crown team in 2004 that was captained by Brian O’Driscoll. Byrne made his claim for the glitterball trophy this morning while speaking to Jennifer Zamparelli on RTÉ 2FM. The Wicklow man played his club rugby in Blackrock and then made over 100 appearances for Leinster, hitting his centaury in February 2003. In 2005, Shane was honoured to be selected for British and Irish Lions tour to New Zealand. He went on to play in the first and third tests of the series against the All Blacks. After the Lions trip he departed Irish shores and played for Saracens in England for two years. In 2009, he decided it was time to hang up his boots and try new things off the rugby pitch. The hit series returns to RTÉ for its sixth year in January and the seventh contestant will be announced tomorrow.
