Why are these contestants trying to make Disney.. jazzy? Deshawn, Alyssa.. just stop.

I love when Casey is more intimate. She can belt like crazy, but it takes just as much skill to be subtle. Her tone gets breathy in a very gorgeous way when she doesn't push too much.

I remember for years people on here wanted a Disney theme.. tbh, I think it is a mistake. Maybe once every couple of years, fine, but a lot of the songs are very theatrical and that isn't what Idol is about.

Oh lord Deshawn. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. One of my favorite Disney songs and this is the most cruise ship thing I have ever seen (and you've been cruise ship boy since day one)

So these contestants come back after a year and now have to wait another two weeks to see if they are in the top 10? What is this nonsense.

I saw my first movie in over a year in a theater last week (vaccinated ftw) and when I saw the films nominated for an Oscar I didn't recognize a single one.

I know I spent much of the live shows for last season drunk (60 days furloughed, mmkay) but I genuinely only remember Makayla, Arthur and Louis out of all of these contestants.

I have a hard time when people singing "Anyone" because the lyrics are so raw it feels like they've been taken directly out of a diary. Makayla's vocal was pretty.. I just don't get why we couldn't have kept Beane or Ava over these people. If someone is gonna make it so far, though, I hope it is Makayla. I remember liking her last season too.

Right? I still have her EP and album somewhere in my house.

I think technically the girl who sang I'll Never Love This Way Again was the best.. but I just imagined pretty much every other girl this season singing it ten times better.
