they probably just decided to not bother and use what's already there, its christmas time anyway

In my country's apple music there is a christmas single available by GNT (released today by republic records). no christmas single for others.

Greetings everyone! Finally joined, wanna share my thoughts on the song choices! GNT - LOVE The Chain, u genuinely think that this is one of the greatest songs ever created, it's a challenge for them but a good kind of challenge (unlike Viva la Vida), their ballad is a bit uninspiring, they had a lot to choose from so this is a bit meh Hailey - probably the most fresh set of the night, that Billie song is particularly good... but probably signed a death warrant with casual viewers, I don't think they'll like it that much. Not sure how Deja Vu will go live considering it relies on production a lot. Paris - extremely uninspiring for the finale set, but its not like he was in the running after last week. Jershika - uh oh, what happened to Jershika who got cool songs like Beggin & God Only Knows? Good vocals, but extremely tiring songs we hear every other season, no chance of getting higher than 5th. Wendy - yeah this is a big NO from me. How Will I Know is gonna sound extremely tacky regardless of what you do with it, and Wendy isn't even doing anything interesting. Picking second Whitney song was a mistake. Over The Rainbow is a classic example of sucking the life out of the song just to show off and turn it into a high note galore. Well I guess after Blue Bayou disaster she didn't want to risk again, but still, this version is absolutely awful to me. Extremely weak song choices for the finale, I guess I'll go for GNT simply because of my undying love for The Chain.
