Message board drama is fun to talk about and it may even affect a couple of peoples voting patterns but that's not going to affect the show at all. They had over 20 million votes cast so unless something drastic gets picked up by like TMZ or some other main stream media outlet it's not going to have any affect on the actual show.

28 minutes ago, QueenKalie said:So if each person can vote up to 30 times you divide 20 million by 30 and you get like 666,666 voters. Now this isn't an exact science because there will be people voting with extra emails and stuff like that. And some people might only vote 10 times instead of 30. But will use that number anyways. How many active voters does IDF have? Its definitely not over 100 and it's probably not even that. Now of course places like Facebook Instagram etc have bigger number of people but the % of voters from there is also not going to be that high either.
It's likely that more people are reading things than just the comments on IDF indicate. For example, there are currently 33 members, 6 anonymous, and 93 guests online. A few minutes ago, the number of guests was 156. Regardless, we don'tย know how many AI or TV voters are informed by media articles or sites like IDF and how many are casual viewers of the shows who vote based on what they see during the episode. Casual viewers are probably more easily influenced by manipulation from TPTB such as performance order, song choice, editing, judge critiques, etc.

Yes, local support for a contestant can have a big impact on the outcome. And Emmy has another advantage over the rest of the Top 12: a famous grandmother who had a very successful country music career.

excerpt from Mark Franklin's recap:
It's been a month since we've heard/seen a performance from Bryan, which is what happens when you come up with a gimmick like the playoff pass that sidelines your top singers for a round. Just a reminder, The Voice, that it's a silly, silly gimmick. It takes about 10 seconds for Bryan to remind us why he's a Season 25 front-runner. Fabulous opening. He's a great performer too. The ending seemed just a tad disjointed, particularly when the background singers kicked it and Bryan went silent for a couple of lines. Dan said it's like he's already a superstar. Chance calls him a rock star. Grade: A-

"Gone For Good" is #60 on the iTunes Top 100 Country Songs chart, andย "Starting Over" by Chris Stapleton is #34.

from Andy Swift's recap:
Speaking of advice we can get behind, thank goodness Meghan Trainor suggested that Will try to have a little more fun on stage this week. There was a lighter, more confident (if that's even possible) energy to his performance of Chris Stapleton's "Starting Over," which he growled out perfectly. If country music is your jam, we can't imagine you came away with any complaints. TVLINE'S GRADE: "A"

excerpt from Mark Franklin's recap:
This song and singer are a natural fit. And Will sounds great naturally. Another solid, pro performance from Will. Lionel called it amazing. Will forgot to smile during the song, per Meghan's advice. But the comments from the judges elicited that smile. He's another singer Top 10 bound. Grade: B+

And at least she doesnโt seem to be associated with child molesters like Will is.
I assume Will doesn't know whether the allegations against the guitar player are true or not. According to a post in another thread, the police report against the man "was cleared & not escalated to any type of charges." People in the United States are presumed innocent until proven guiltyโnot the other way around.

I would suggest not placing that bet on Roman.
Yeah. I don't bet, but it's interesting to see who is favored or predicted to win by various sites.

The BetOnline winner odds as of April 16 have Triston as the favorite to win followed by Abi, Will, Roman, Kayko, Mia, Emmy, and Jack.

Will seems to really enjoy meeting and working with the mentors. Before his performance tonight, Will posted about Gene Simmons and reminded fans to vote.

from Denton Davidson's GoldDerby recap:
9:40 p.m. โ Next is Will Moseley singing "Night Moves" by Bob Seger. Will always sounds great and looks cool and collected on stage. Katy loves seeing Will get in touch with his sensitive side and calls it "his best performance." Luke says the song choice shows them Will knows who he is as an artist. Lionel calls it "the perfect song" and thinks Will "killed that."

The two shows are different enough in format that I've always enjoyed watching both.
